Chapter 410: *The battle of the Royal Palace part 10*

Kevin, sensing the difference in power of their opponents, glanced around as he continued to parry the Titan’s blows, and his eyes widened when he saw that these men were Drakonits.

Kevin then said to Connor through the communication stones, "They’re too strong; we can’t keep fighting here. I’m going to call Mykael and have him send us all to the place he’s prepared on purpose so we can fight the Titans. In the meantime, you go and free Sora from her chains, and as soon as she is free, go with her to a safe place. We’ll call you when it’s over here."

Connor nodded; Kevin was right. All six of them had very powerful auras, and they could blow up the Royal Palace if they kept fighting here. Solomon grunted in frustration as he received Kevin’s new instructions, but he knew it was the wisest decision.

He then heard Sora’s concerned voice through the communication stones, which surprised him. "Solomon, is that you fighting right in front of my door? What are all these powerful auras I can feel?"

Solomon quickly told her, "It’s me, but I’m not going to be able to keep my promise and come rescue you. We have to go fight somewhere else; they’re too powerful... But don’t worry, Connor is right outside your door and he’ll come as soon as we leave to free you from your chains."

Sora could sense that it was very tense in the hallway leading to her room, so she just said to him, "Okay, be careful."

Solomon smiled hearing that, and Mykael suddenly appeared right between them and the Drakonits.

He glared menacingly at them, and at a speed they couldn’t follow, he went close to Kevin, grabbed the Titan he was fighting with by the scruff of the neck, and threw him through the teleportation portal he had just opened.

He then teleported right behind the two Drakonits, who really didn’t expect to have to face a God, and before they could defend themselves, he also grabbed them and sent them through the portal that Kevin had already crossed. Solomon and Jason followed them right after.

Mykael then looked at Connor, who was still under the protection of the Chains of Restraint, and he asked him gently, "Are you holding up?"

Connor nodded more out of reflex than to answer his question. After all, he only felt safe when he was with Derek, so he asked him anxiously, "How is Derek?"

Mykael smiled at him and then said, "Miguel has taken a liking to both of you, so don’t worry. Elias is keeping a close eye on the battlefield, and he has even posted Warrior Spirits all over the place so they can step in if the situation calls for it. We’re all following Kevin’s wishes by letting you fight, but we’re definitely here, so don’t worry."

Connor breathed a sigh of relief, and he told him sincerely this time, "Then it’s all right. I promise, you can go join them; Kevin’s chains will protect me."

Mykael disappeared at once and went to join his son-in-law, Colin, and the others in one of the Warrior Spirits’ training grounds that Elias and Miguel had lent them to fight the Titans and Cassandra’s and Lilith’s men, who were a real threat.

In this training ground were now the 10 Titans, the 2 Drakonits guarding the Queen’s room, and 16 other men and women with black marks on their foreheads.

Mykael didn’t bring here the weakest of them because there was still Iris to take care of those who remained in the Royal Palace, but those who were powerful enough to cause trouble were teleported directly here.

To fight them, there were Colin, Malo, Nolan, Erik, Liam, and Ian, and now Kevin had joined them with Solomon and Jason. Alan had preferred to stay with his father, and his mission was to reduce the human and demon casualties as much as possible.

Kevin had given him a hundred healing potions of legendary grade just before the battle because he had guessed that Alan would prefer to heal the wounded rather than fight.

Back to the training ground where they were fighting the Titans and those with a black symbol on their foreheads, when the teleportation portal had opened once more, they had all split into two camps, waiting to see who would arrive this time, and so they were once again watching each other, evaluating the strength of their opponents.

The Titans and the men and women of the Goddesses were more numerous, but that didn’t stop them from fearing their opponents.

The Warrior Spirits were able to fight several Titans at the same time without any problem, and now there were 3 of them with Kevin’s arrival, not to mention the power of this mage who was terrifying and had already killed several of them in one go.

The others too were far from weak: a Drakonit, a Divine Wolf, and a man with a curious silver aura that made him very powerful... And now there were even 2 demons that had managed to unlock their demonic side without dying, which proved that they couldn’t be taken lightly either.

As for Kevin, he didn’t care to assess their strength; he knew they were much more powerful than them, so he created short swords made of particles of light and gold and rushed at the Titan he had just faced. Now that he had all the space he wanted to fight, he didn’t need to hold back anymore, and as he was about to reach him, two other Titans tried to intercept him, but he just used his Chains of Restraint to keep them at bay and continued to rush at the Titan he had targeted.

The Titan, just before he came upon him, switched weapons, and when he saw the shiny black blade of his new sword, he immediately suspected that it was made with Corium and that it must be soaked with the Hydra’s venom.

Kevin smirked; too bad for him, the venoms were completely ineffective against the Warrior Spirits. This Titan, though, was really a good fighter, and that was why Kevin had wanted to continue fighting him. Titans, especially mages, were formidable opponents.

While everyone was fighting again and Kevin was fighting 2 Titans at the same time, he had a vision and saw them suddenly move away from him, and a black laser beam appeared and went through him.
