Chapter 375: *You all know what you have to do*

He then explained to them, "You still have to decapitate them, but an ordinary weapon would only go through their bodies. Only with a weapon made of light particles can you kill them. Luckily for everyone, you are an expert in making short swords made of light particles."

Kevin immediately nodded, and he said to warn his men, "As soon as we enter this room, the 621 Dead Knights and 315 Dead Wizards will start to attack us. Prepare yourselves because they are more numerous than in the other room, and you will be fewer to face them."

Mathias immediately told him, "As long as our bodyguards don’t turn on us, we should be fine; it’s up to you, boss."

Kevin used the communication stones directly to contact Mykael, and he said to him, "If I’m not quick enough, watch over my men and Alan for me. They’re the ones who will be in the most danger."

Mykael then said to him using the same means of communication, "Don’t worry, son; everything will be fine."

Kevin then looked at the dungeon boss, and a countdown appeared over his head; they had 24 minutes left before he was released from his Chains of Restraint. It would never be enough time to kill all the summoned creatures in this room, so he better be careful and keep an eye on him.

Before launching their attack, he created two short swords made of light and golden particles, and finally, he said to everyone, "You all know what you have to do, so here we go!"

As soon as they rushed into the room, everything became very chaotic. The Dead Knights immediately charged at them, and a deluge of fireballs and darkness balls fell on them.

Fortunately, just before they could reach them, they were all swept away by some kind of shockwave, and when Kevin glanced back, he realized that Mykael had disintegrated them all with the help of his golden sword, which allowed him to increase all his stats by 4,000 points.

Kevin smiled; it was great to be protected by a God. Then he focused on his opponents again and saw all those Dead Spectra duplicating.

He swore and then widened his eyes in surprise when he saw them all duplicating again. Even the ones that had just been created could duplicate themselves! What was that? He really thought that only the originals could duplicate themselves and that they could only duplicate once.

But again, before he could get to them and start fighting, they all duplicated again, leaving him completely helpless.

When he finally started fighting them, from 6, they had gone to 48 Dead Spectra, and even with Mykael’s warning about their abilities, he really hadn’t expected that at all.

While he started to decapitate some, he saw that those remaining continued to duplicate, and while he was swearing again, Erik told him through the communication stones that he was ready to help him. He threw him his two short swords at once and created 2 others instantly for him.

The only good thing about these Dead Spectra was that they were not that powerful; otherwise, it could have really changed the game.

While he and Erik were trying to decapitate them as quickly as possible so that these Dead Spectra would finally stop duplicating, he decided to launch his Chains of Restraint against them.

He used a more appropriate form to get rid of them easily, and a dozen very thin but very sharp threads shot out toward these Dead Spectra. He immediately surrounded them with particles of light so that they would be as effective as possible.

Then he ordered them to wrap around the necks of his enemies and decapitate them until there were none left.

Luckily for them, his Chains of Restraint were as effective as ever, and the threat of those Dead Spectra was finally quickly over thanks to them.

But when he thought they were finally done with them, he then had a vision of Mathias and Brice being pierced by the sword of one of the Dead Knights who was supposed to protect them.

"Damn, some of them must have escaped," Kevin thought immediately, and now they were possessing the bodies of the Dead Knights he had assigned to protect his men.

Those bastards weren’t fooled; they decided to attack Mathias and Brice because they were the strongest to fight against the Dead Knights and the Dead Wizards.

Without further ado, he contacted Mykael to warn him that he had to be more vigilant, and he then told him the vision he had just had.

The only problem was that all the Dead Knights he had summoned were completely identical. So in addition to having warned Mykael, he preferred to discreetly send his Chains of Restraint near Mathias and Brice, giving them the order to act immediately if they felt any danger.

While Mathias and Brice continued to fight completely unaware of the danger they were in, he decided to trust Mykael and the powers of his Chains of Restraint to protect his men.

He then told Erik to join Alan, and he went to help Axel finish off the last of the Dead Cerberus who still had two of his heads left.

When Axel saw that Kevin had finished and was joining him, he immediately said to him: "Sorry, babe, but they were a lot tougher than I expected."

He then explained that he had first tried to use his wolf form to fight against them, but as soon as he was about to touch them, these purple flames, which were usually only around their necks and legs, spread out over the rest of their bodies, and they were really very aggressive.

After being burned several times by these flames made of darkness particles, he decided to use his human form and his two legendary swords instead to kill these monsters.

Kevin then said to him, "Well done, honey. I also had a hard time with the Dead Spectra... Listen, we have 3 minutes left before the boss of the dungeon is released. Let’s kill this Dead Cerberus and retreat to the entrance of the room."
