Chapter 374: *Do you prefer dogs or ghosts ?*

Axel answered immediately because he had already checked earlier, knowing that Kevin would eventually ask him the question, "The boss of the dungeon is much stronger than the others, and there are 5 summoners."

Kevin then told them, "We’ll end up clearing everything later here; let’s take care of this boss and these summoned creatures first."

Kevin immediately climbed on Axel’s back and told him, "Go; the others will catch up with us later!"

Immediately, the golden tattoos appeared all over Axel’s body, and he moved so fast that Mason couldn’t help but ask, "Did they teleport directly into the boss room?"

Mykael laughed then and said to them, "No, my son is just moving too fast for your eyes to follow... It seems that Kevin is still a little traumatized by what happened to Alan last time, though he’ll never admit it. He just wants to make sure things don’t get out of hand and that you’re all safe. Don’t worry; they’ll be waiting for us a bit further once Kevin manages to neutralize all the summoners, so let’s not waste any time and join them."

Alan went ahead with Erik, followed by Mathias and the others, and Mykael used his speed to clean this room before joining them; there was no point in wasting more time here.

He joined them quickly, and while they were now heading toward the boss’s room, he decided to stay a little behind to watch them from afar, as he was used to doing.

On the way, Kevin gave everyone a magic bag containing 5 healing potions of legendary grade and explained to his men that these potions could heal any wound in seconds and that they should not hesitate to use them because he could buy them at will.

His men all put this precious magic bag in a safe place, and they prepared for another battle like they would probably never see again in their lives.

When they arrived at another gigantic room, although a little smaller than the previous one, they immediately sensed the difference in level of the creatures inside.

The boss of the dungeon and his 5 summoners were, for the moment, prisoners of the Chains of Restraint, and the first wave of summoned creatures was still the same, consisting of Dead Knights and Dead Wizards.

Only, to Kevin’s great surprise, this time there were no Cyclops or Giants, but two three-headed dogs that had purple flames on their necks and legs, and that must have been just a bit smaller than Axel when he was in his final Werewolf form.

There were also 6 other creatures that looked like elementals and were purple in color.

Kevin smirked; this meant that he would be able to copy more summoning spells, and Mykael then said to him, "You should increase the protection of your men by assigning them 2 more Dead Knights each, and one more for Alan would not be a luxury either."

He then added, before Alan could protest, "Look, Alan, Erik is able to use his Stage 2 now for a long time, and Axel doesn’t really need protection anymore either, but you’re different. You still have a long way to go to be able to catch up with them."

Alan just nodded, as he knew well that Mykael was right. Kevin immediately complied, increasing the number of Dead Knights for those who needed them.

He first used his Dead Knights and those he had assigned to Axel and Erik because they wouldn’t need them anymore for his plan, and then he summoned 6 more, so that Alan and his men would all have 4 Dead Knights to protect them.

Before he could even read to everyone what his System had sent him as a notification, he heard Theo stammer, "These dogs... These dogs look like the description... The description of the dog that guards the gate of hell, Cerberus."

Mason nodded and added, "Yeah, and those purple things look like ghosts. I hate ghosts; I’m not going near those things."

Kevin then frowned in surprise and said to them, "Well, good guess, guys; you’re both right."

When he saw that everyone was looking at him intrigued, he read them without further ado the summary of the creatures present in the room.

[ WARNING ]

With your current level, the Chains of Restraint can still immobilize the dungeon boss for 28 minutes.

[ SUMMARY ]

1 General Wizard 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

5 Elite Warrior Wizards

2 Dead Cerberus

6 Dead Spectra

315 Dead Wizards

621 Dead Knights

Kevin then gave his instructions, "Alan, you will stay with my men and try to get rid of these Dead Knights and Dead Wizards as much as possible. Erik, you will take care of killing the 5 Elite Warrior Wizards that are held by my Chains of Restraint, but you will not go near the boss of the dungeon, and you will come to join us with Axel when you are done."

He then looked at Axel and asked him curiously, "Do you prefer dogs or ghosts?"

Axel smirked and said to him, "Let me show those dogs that they are no match for a wolf."

Kevin nodded and then said, "So I’ll take care of the ghosts... Mykael, do you know what these summoned creatures are capable of?"

Mykael then told them, "I know a few things about them. The Dead Cerberus is capable of using fire and darkness spells; they come out of their mouths. You also have to be careful with the purple flames on them; as you can see, it’s a concentration of darkness particles."

He added, "For the Dead Spectra, try to kill them quickly because they can duplicate and they can also possess the body of anything. That is to say, your bodyguards could become your enemies, so be very careful with them."

Mykael also told them, "To kill the Dead Cerberus, you just have to decapitate their three heads like any other summoned creature, but for the Dead Spectra, it’s a little different."
