Chapter 371: *Like they were in a virtual reality game*

Kevin was relieved that Alan agreed, and he equipped himself with all his items to increase his Soul Force points, as Alan suggested.

When he turned to look at Erik, he saw him nodding, giving him his consent too. He finally said to his men, "Guys, I didn’t think we’d run into another dungeon with summoned creatures, but I guess we’re pretty damn lucky today. You’re going to get to see with your own eyes the creatures we told you about last night."

Mykael then told them, "Let’s not waste time; there are only 5 hours left before this dungeon closes. Let’s go!"

But before entering the dungeon, Kevin still had a few things to do. He first distributed weapons to his men, reminding them that only decapitation was effective against these summoned creatures and that they had to avoid being hit by purple fireballs at all costs; otherwise, it would be very painful.

Secondly, he activated his Stage 2 and decided to summon only Dead Knights for the moment.

[ Darkness element spell level 3: Summoning Dead Knights, Soul Force required to activate: 1,000 points

You can choose 3 options:

- 2 Dead Knights level 150, Yes / No

- 5 Dead Knights level 75, Yes / No

- 20 Dead Knights level 50, Yes / No ]

Kevin didn’t think too much this time, and he directly summoned 18 Dead Knights of level 150.

They would be useful later in the boss’s room, and in the meantime, they could guarantee the safety of everyone.

He instructed them to protect the group from fireballs and to intervene in the fight only if they were in danger, and once everyone had their Dead Knights assigned, they finally entered the dungeon.

Kevin’s men really felt like they were in a virtual reality game, and when they saw Kevin summon these creatures and that they came out of a purple vortex, they couldn’t help but exchange glances that spoke volumes about their excitement.

Kevin finally explained to them before entering the dungeon that these creatures would be their bodyguards but that they would not prevent them from fighting. They had to be ready to fight because last time, as soon as they entered the dungeon, they had to fight against an army of these summoned creatures.

Kevin then immediately joined Axel, Alan, and Erik, who were already inside, and Mykael waited for Kevin’s men to go through the purple vortex to follow them.

As Kevin had warned them, they found themselves immediately in an atmosphere with about fifty Dead Knights waiting for them and other creatures throwing red and purple fireballs. Mathias couldn’t contain his enthusiasm any longer, and he said, "Damn, this is so freaking awesome!"

As they all started to fight, they saw golden chains going in two different directions, and they saw them immobilize the ones who were supposed to be the summoners because Kevin had explained to them last night that his Chains of Restraint could prevent them from summoning other creatures.

Kevin’s men, with the swords, axes, and scimitars that he had provided them, managed to decapitate a few Dead Knights without any problem. When the fight was over, Theo couldn’t help but ask Kevin, "Boss, why didn’t you let them summon more creatures?"

Kevin smiled and said to him, "Simply because there are still 924 creatures to kill, and this is just the beginning. As we go on, the summoners will summon more creatures, and this number will increase. Do not worry; at the end of this dungeon, I promise you that you will be more than satisfied."

Theo finally smiled; it was true that there were still a lot of monsters left, and he couldn’t wait to get to the dungeon boss’s room and see for himself what Giants and Cyclops might look like. Hopefully, there would be some this time too.

Theo then saw that the others were helping to pick up the purple crystals and piles of armor that littered the floor, so he joined them, and Kevin put his hands on the floor and used his earth element to see if there was any ore in the rock around them.

Thanks to his Stage 2, his perception was powerful enough to detect them, but when he got up, he shook his head negatively at the silent question that Alan was asking him.

Alan then said to him, "Let’s not waste too much time in the intermediate rooms and let’s go as quickly as possible to the boss’s room. The creatures he will be able to summon will give us more experience points, and maybe he will be able to summon other creatures that we haven’t seen yet and that you can copy."

Kevin nodded and told him, "That was exactly what I intended to do."

They then rejoined their men, and when Alan joined Erik, he heard Mykael tell him that turning his Warrior Spirit skill on and off at the beginning and end of each fight would give him more control over his skill, and that at this rate, very soon he would be able to use it at will like Kevin.

Alan was delighted to hear this, and Mykael then said to him, "As for you, it’s the same thing, Alan. The more you use golden particles in your spells, the more it will become a habit, and then you won’t even have to think about it; you’ll do it automatically. And I don’t need to remind you that the more you use them, the more you will be able to gradually increase the amount of golden particles you can draw from divine energy, and then you will be able to store more of them as well."

Alan smirked then, looking at Erik; to increase the amount of golden particles he could absorb as quickly as possible, there was a much better way, and it was to do Dual Cultivation with his man.

Mykael, seeing the predatory look Alan had just given to Erik, muttered as he walked away from them, "Seriously, you have to think about that now!"
