Chapter 203: The battle finished

The Dragon Monarch swung his colossal tail with desperate fury.

The motion carried the full weight of his rage and desperation. As the tail tore through the shattered void, it unleashed the Hyperversal Law of Extinction. A tide of absolute anti matter surged forward, carrying enough destructive force to erase the very concept of existence from anything it touched. It was not merely an attack. It was the culmination of countless epochs of cultivation, refinement, and conquest.

Alex did not move.

His expression remained calm as he raised a single hand before him. The action appeared simple, but immense divine authority gathered around his fingertips. Behind him, the phantom image of the Angel of Creation flickered into existence.

"Genesis Shield."

The technique had been obtained after he illuminated one of the Angel of Creation’s sacred wings. It represented one of the purest manifestations of creation energy that he possessed.

The anti matter wave crashed into the shield.

Creation and destruction collided with terrifying intensity. The opposing supreme laws ground against one another, generating a localized catastrophe beyond mortal comprehension. Within the zone of contact, realities were continuously born and annihilated. Entire universes emerged, lived out their existence, and vanished again in less than a microsecond.

The resulting shockwave surged outward.

Its influence spread through the surrounding macrocosm and continued expanding at an alarming rate. Entire regions of space trembled beneath the force of the collision. Stars flickered like fragile candles in a storm. Their light dimmed and brightened repeatedly as the disturbance rippled through the cosmic fabric.

Ten minutes remained.

The battle immediately escalated to a new level.

Realizing that conventional methods would no longer work, the Dragon Monarch activated the ancient treasure fragment embedded within his chest. Strange energies flowed through his body as he tapped into the artifact’s masking and distortion properties.

Thousands of phantom clones materialized across the void.

Each clone possessed terrifying density. Their bodies carried the equivalent mass of supermassive black holes. Space warped around them as they descended upon Alex from every direction imaginable. They lunged forward like a swarm of cosmic predators, tearing through the void while releasing torrents of crimson fire.

The flames were unlike ordinary cosmic fire.

Wherever they passed, space and time were burned away. Dimensions collapsed into nothingness. The destruction left behind raw wounds in reality itself. Vast regions of existence vanished and were replaced by weeping voids that stretched endlessly into darkness.

Yet Alex remained untouched.

His sixteen radiant wings spread behind him in magnificent splendor. Every attack that approached him was effortlessly diverted. The torrents of fire shattered upon contact with the divine feathers. The claws and fangs of the clones failed to reach his body.

His eyes shone with holy brilliance.

The illusions created by the treasure fragment were powerful enough to deceive countless cosmic entities, but they could not escape his sight. Through layers of distortion, he located the Dragon Monarch’s true form.

A cold light flashed within his gaze.

With a grand sweep of his wings, he activated one of his greatest offensive techniques.

"Destruction’s Symphony: Stellar Execution."

The void erupted with endless radiance.

Millions of constructs materialized around him. Countless swords emerged from creation energy and assembled into a vast celestial army. Each blade had been forged from compressed newborn supernovas. Their surfaces glowed with unimaginable power, while their edges possessed the ability to sever conceptual barriers.

The sight was breathtaking.

An entire ocean of divine swords hovered above the battlefield. Every weapon radiated the authority of creation itself.

Then Alex issued a single mental command.

The swords descended.

Millions of blazing streaks crossed the void simultaneously. Every blade locked onto a specific target. The phantom clones were pierced one after another. Their bodies exploded into fragments of unstable energy before dissolving completely.

The attack did not stop there.

The swords continued their pursuit until they reached the Dragon Monarch’s true conceptual body. One strike followed another in relentless succession. Roars of agony echoed throughout the locked dimension as the Monarch’s defenses collapsed.

His authority began to crumble.

The cosmic laws under his command were systematically dismantled. Every sword that struck him carried a declaration of Alex’s superiority. Every wound weakened his existence further.

One minute remained.

The warning chime echoed within Alex’s consciousness.

The Dragon Monarch was no longer the majestic being who had entered the battle with supreme confidence. His enormous body was covered in devastating wounds. Cracks spread across his scales. Blood flowed from countless injuries.

Even his eyes had changed.

The arrogance that had defined him for countless epochs had vanished. In its place remained only fear.

The treasure fragment embedded within his chest had been torn free during the battle. It floated nearby while releasing unstable waves of energy. The artifact seemed completely unaffected by the destruction surrounding it.

"How?" the Dragon Monarch wheezed. "How can an Anomaly wield the power of Primordial Genesis?"

His voice no longer carried cosmic authority.

The supreme predator who had conquered innumerable realms now resembled a condemned mortal awaiting execution.

"This cannot be possible," he continued. "I have existed through countless epochs. I have conquered endless worlds. I cannot fall before a single Anomaly."

Alex hovered silently before him.

His sixteen wings illuminated the conceptual vacuum surrounding them. The crown of light above his head blazed with overwhelming brilliance. Although his energy reserves were rapidly approaching their limit, his presence remained absolute.

The battlefield had been completely hollowed out.

Matter no longer existed there. Time had ceased to function. Space itself had vanished. Only a vast white conceptual void remained.

"You asked me to yield," Alex said.

His voice was calm and cold.

The Angel of Creation manifested completely behind him. Its enormous form towered over the battlefield like a divine sovereign. As Alex raised his hand, the angel mirrored the motion.

A sphere of absolute genesis energy formed at his fingertips.

The sphere appeared small, yet it contained enough power to overwhelm entire realities. Its radiance illuminated the surrounding void and caused the remnants of existence to tremble.

"You asked me to surrender my soul."

The sphere continued to grow denser.

"You demanded my submission."

Alex pointed toward the Dragon Monarch and the cracked treasure fragment.

"You are a big fish in a small pond, Monarch. But I am the ocean."

His eyes shone with absolute certainty.

"And the ocean does not bow to fish."

"Genesis Oblivion."

The sphere transformed into a beam of pure white light.

There was no explosion. No shockwave followed its release. The attack simply advanced with silent inevitability.

Then it consumed.

The Dragon Monarch’s eyes widened in final despair. His scales dissolved into particles of fading light. His flesh disintegrated. His cosmic laws unraveled. His soul shattered into nothingness.

Within moments, nothing remained.

Not a single atom survived. Not a single memory endured. Even the concept of the Dragon Monarch was erased from existence itself.

Only the ancient treasure fragment remained.

The artifact floated peacefully within the void. The devastating beam had failed to leave even the slightest mark upon its surface. Gentle pulses of mysterious energy continued to emanate from it.

As the Monarch vanished forever, the locked dimension collapsed.

The artificial battlefield shattered and reverted to normal space. Alex released a long breath and allowed the sixteen wings and crown of light to dissolve back into his soul.

His aura rapidly declined to the peak Megaversal level.

Exhaustion flooded every part of his body. Even standing required effort.

After checking the internal timer within his mind, he saw that nineteen minutes and fifty eight seconds had passed.

He had succeeded.

With only moments remaining, he had defeated one of the greatest enemies he had ever faced.

Before resting, he waved his hand and collected the treasure fragment. The artifact disappeared into his inner world.

Then Vorkoth and the eight disciples emerged.

Alex slowly closed his eyes.

"Take me somewhere safe," he commanded. "I need to rest."

His energy reserves had been completely depleted. The battle had consumed everything he possessed.

Without another word, he entrusted himself to his companions as darkness claimed his exhausted consciousness.
