Chapter 833

Anders had finally decided what to do with their old farm. Anton’s father wanted to build a manor there. He wanted the family to have a home in Oakswood Village, aside from the Rose Manor in Ormunda. Anders wanted to create a semi-permanent connection between the Rose Manor and their new home in Oakswood using one of Anton’s portal scrolls.

Anton realized that Anders wanted to help Oakswood prosper, and with his father’s abilities, it would be fairly easy for him to do so.

In the weeks that followed, Anders hired a lot of people from Ormunda to assist in rebuilding not only the village but also the new house on their farm. He asked his father if he needed more coins because if he did, he could return to delving into the dungeon back in Ormunda.

“All the spending that we did, didn’t even cost us ten percent of all the wealth that we had gathered in Ormunda,” Anders laughingly told Anton.

What flabbergasted Anton and Anna was that their father started courting a young widow who arrived in Oakswood. The young widow’s name was Elisa, and she had two children: a twelve-year-old son and a nine-year-old daughter. Apparently, Elisa’s husband sacrificed himself when their farm was attacked by ghouls, and that allowed Elisa and her two children to escape.

Elisa was in her mid-thirties, but she actually looked years older than Anders. Anders looked like he was in his late twenties, even though Anton’s father was in his late forties. Even though Elisa looked older, she did look beautiful, so Anton and Anna understood how she managed to capture Anders’s attention.

At first, when Anders professed his interest in Elisa, the woman declared that she couldn’t accept a young man like Anton’s father, which made Anton and Anna laugh when they heard about it.

Elisa’s jaw dropped when Anders told her that he was in his late forties, and the other villagers who knew Anders’s family from before confirmed it.

Anders told Elisa that the reason why he looked young was that he drank and bathed in Anton’s Mana Water for a long time.

Elisa’s neighbors persuaded her to accept Anders because it would be in her best interest to do so. Not only was Anders an extremely wealthy man, but he was also a powerful magic caster, even though technically, Anders wasn’t a wizard; the fact that Anton’s father could cast healing spells made him no different from a powerful wizard in the villagers’ opinion.

When Elisa finally accepted Anders, he brought her to the newly created farmhouse that was as gorgeous as any noble’s manor. The new family manor in Oakswood was built extremely fast simply because Anders spent a massive amount of gold coins to do so.

It was still empty, since Anton planned to hire a decorator in Ormunda to assist Elisa in purchasing the furniture that would make the new manor comfortable. Before all of that happened, though, Anders wanted to marry Elisa first.

In what could have been a scandalous short amount of time, but was currently negligible because of the situation in Rendindura, a wedding occurred in Oakswood. It was a lavish affair. With the help of Romina, Sarah, Bruce, Luna, and Raymond, the wedding was held in Oakswood village Hall.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

The whole village celebrated, and the food and drinks seemed nonstop. Everything came from Ormunda, and with the family’s wealth, it was easy enough to feed the hundreds of villagers who attended the wedding. Anders’ mercenaries also attended, but he strictly reiterated to everyone to be in their best behavior, and if they wanted to become wild, they could return to Ormunda and celebrate their party there, and that was what they did after the wedding, so as not to disturb the villagers.

Romina, Sarah, Luna, and Anna helped Elisa to purchase her wedding dress in Ormunda. Not only that, they spent a week purchasing clothes and all accessories needed by a rich lady in Ormunda. Elisa’s two children, like Anton and Anna, had wide eyes at the speed at which their father accomplished wooing and marrying Elisa.

Anders did talk to his children about his decision to marry Elisa.

“Now that the enemy is gone, I wanted to have a new family that I can take care of. Both of you had become extremely powerful in your own rights, so you don’t need me anymore. I want a new family to take care of. I want someone to love.”

Anna and Anton understood their father. Anton would be leaving for another continent, although he hadn’t mentioned it yet, and Anna would spend the majority of her time in the magic academy growing her magical strength. The family in the Rose Manor was also well established and didn’t need help from Andres, Anton, and Anna.

Anders planned for him, Elisa, and her two children to live in the manor in Oakswood, but he still planned to continue delving into dungeons in Ormunda. With the portal scroll that was now established in the Oakswood manor instead of the Oakswood Village Hall, it was easy for Anders to go back and forth between the two continents.

Since it was the best time for Anton to inform his father and sister, he also told them of his decision to go to another continent to join a magical organization that would allow him to learn the knowledge that would make him more powerful. When they asked why he couldn’t join any of those in Ormunda or in New Drennor, he told his family that he wanted to start from scratch, so he wanted to go somewhere new.

He told them that with the portal scroll and with the ability for the three of them to meet in Anton’s “Hidden World,” which was the Multiplayer Option in the Diablo II part of his Diablo System, they would still be able to meet frequently.

After the wedding, Elisa was brought to the Rose Manor by Anders with the intent of purchasing furniture to fill out the manor in Oakswood. Her two children accompanied her so they could also purchase all the things her children would need.

Anders gave Elisa the coins that she would need, as well as a brand new spatial storage ring. With the help of Luna, the decorator, and several assistants, Elisa purchased all the things the manor needed. She spent almost a week doing so, but with the help of a lot of people, they managed not to overwhelm Elisa too much.

Anton was just glad that Oakswood Village had started to lift itself. With the help of the massive wealth that their family was injecting into the village, Anton knew that Oakswood Village would turn into a town very soon.

Anna wasn’t able to accompany Elisa in her shopping spree because she finally had to return to the magic academy. Anton also tried his best to keep his presence minimal because soon, he would be living on the Continent of Izmorta.

Izmorta was the continent he chose to go into. He had gathered the information that informed him that the large continent had hundreds of magic organizations that would allow him to learn the things he wanted to learn.

Instead of announcing it to everyone in a wide declaration, he told the family one by one his intent to leave Ormunda. He assured them that with his ability to teleport and create portals, he would still be able to return to the Rose Manor frequently.

By that time, Anton had provided thousands of movies and television shows to Romina. That would allow the cinema to continue nonstop. He had also provided Alfred with a massive number of anime shows.

All in all, the family’s journey back into their village was a success, and it was time for Anton to start the new chapter in his life.
