It was already midnight and he was still in his office, typing on his computer without taking a break until he felt his fingers go numb. He decided to look at other things so he took his phone to scroll around until he stumbled across the pictures that were taken by the press at Mr Gustavo’s party.

"She only seduced the guy", Adrain told himself. He didn’t want to start thinking that he made a mistake by letting her leave. He still couldn’t believe that she was the CEO of the Walters corporations that he had wanted to partner with all this time.
The Anderson and the Walters were two different families with strong backgrounds, so how could it be that Ethan gave her the company. It didn’t make sense to him and he also didn’t want to believe that Erika was a rich girl all this time.
The first day the both of them met back in high school, she was being bullied by the seniors and he helped her. But she didn’t look rich so how did everything come to this? Adrain asked himself.
He sighed, he was going to get a pounding headache if he still continued thinking about Erika and her strange background when they were no longer related to each other anymore. Even if she was the CEO of Walters corporations, he would still sent her another email if they could meet and talk about the proposal.
Adrain turned his computer back on and continued typing again.
After spending another hour in his office, Adrian finally decided to leave for home. He carried his suitcase and left his office to head down to the parking lot. The building had already gone quite due to the absence of employees who have already retired for the night.
Adrain entered his home but found the whole place dark and quiet. "Felicia!" He called out Felicia’s name but he received no response.
He strode towards their matrimonial bedroom to find the room’s light slightly dimmed and candle lights were placed around the corners of the walls as if a ritual was taking place.
"Felicia?" He called again and this time he received a response.
"Oh, you are back baby?"
The light that illuminated from the candles assisted his eye sight on sighting the rose petals on the bed and Felicia’s silhouette.
"Are you naked?" He questioned her when he didn’t sight any clothe on her skin. When he didn’t receive any response from her, he switched the lights back on. "Why are you naked?"

Things have been like this since Grandma Elizabeth died. Mary has taken over the house completely and Adam doesn’t seem to care to know what was happening. She had gotten stricter with the maids and with butler David, giving them more work and a deadline to finish it. Things now felt like working in a prison and most of the maids have left and those who have no choice stayed behind.

Mary glared at him and left to go squander the money she didn’t earn.
