Chapter 47: MEDICINAL HERBS
At one of the hospitals in California, Felicia strode through the entrance of the hospital straight down to Mr Lee’s office. He had invited her over, informing her that there was hope for her infertility to be cured so the latter was extremely happy. Felicia strode towards his office as she happily swayed her hips, earning some lustful stares from both male patients and nurse.
Mr Lee was in his office, writing some patients’ prescription when he heard someone knock on the door to his office. "Come in", he said.
Felicia walked inside and her heels only made more noise due to the absence of carpet in the office. "So you have good news for me?" She asked Mr Lee with smile as she grabbed a seat for herself.
"Welcome Felicia", mr Lee greeted as he sized her up from head to toe until he was satisfied. Felicia was wearing a black top that had a extremely long v neck that went down to her chest. She coupled it with black colored skirt that was short.
Mr Lee had to control himself before he bounced on her.
"So what’s up?"
Mr Lee set aside the medications he was prescribing to bring out a bag full of medicinal herbs.
"I was able to make some research and ask my fellow doctors back in China if there was a cure for your infertility and s few came up with his drugs", he pushed the medical bag towards Felicia for her to look at first. "You would need to take all of them", he added.
"WHAT?!" She suddenly exclaimed. "I have to take all of these?"
"Do you prefer it if you husband and your in laws find out about your infertility problem or be willing to take all of these with a chance that you would be able to conceive again?" Mr Lee questioned her with a raised eyebrow.
Felicia sighed before replying, "Fine! But is this guaranteed?"
"60%. Just make sure to have continuous intercourse with your husband", he responded.
Even though unwilling, Felicia had no choice but to do as Mr lee had suggested. Besides, what could go wrong? She asked herself. She thanked Mr Lee and left his office to go home so as to hide the drugs before Ethan’s arrival from work. She wouldn’t let him see her carrying a bag full of drugs else questions would just arise.
After she was assured that she had properly concealed of the medicinal herbs, she changed into a more moderate cloth to go visit her in laws.
"Good day, Miss Felicia", a servant from the hart mansion greeted when she noticed her coming in.
Felicia raised her chin up proudly to question the servant, "Where is my mother in law? Let her know that I’m around. And also, bring me some orange juice."
"Sure, Miss Felicia", the servant responded and quickly dashed away to go inform the madam of the mansion.
Felicia took a seat to relax until she heard footsteps coming from the stairs. She turned her head to the direction to face her mother in law and sister in law.
"Mother," she greeted with a smile.
"How are you?" Mary asked as she returned the smile also.
"I’m alright", Felicia replied before facing her sister in law, Juliet. The both of them exchanged some pleasantries before settling down on the sofas to chat as always.
"Mother, you wouldn’t believe who I saw yesterday while I was shopping with Adrian", Felicia started.
"Who?" Mary asked curiously.
"It’s your ex daughter in law, Erika", she revealed.
"You saw her?!" Mary exclaimed out of shock.
"Yes, mom. And she looked rich but its because she is probably using that young man’s money", Felicia replied while taking a sip from her glass filled with orange juice that the servant had given her earlier.
"Man? What man?" Juliet questioned this time.
"Its her rich boyfriend, of course. I told you she was cheating on Adrain the whole time that was why she didn’t accept the alimony three years ago. She even insulted me when I spoke to her", Felicia spat out of irritation. The insult that Erika has given her the previous day still didn’t suit well with her.
"I see, she now has a rich boyfriend. She has forgotten that no amount of money will be able to wash away her slum smell", Mary remarked with a heavy tone.
"She won’t go far. By the way, did you see the face of her boyfriend", Juliet asked Felicia.
Felicia shook her head, "I didn’t see but he could be average handsome. The suit he was wearing didn’t even look expensive but he seemed well off", Felicia replied. She changed what she saw because she didn’t want both Mary and Juliet to think that she was checking the man out, that would be embarrassing.
"With the little pocket money that he is giving her, she probably thinks that she can spread her wings wide....hmph, i am going to cut it", Mary remarked with a smirk. She would need to find Erika to teach her a lesson for sending her to prison, three years ago. Man? Rich man? That slut deserves to rot alone.
"Do you know her house address or anything?" Mary asked Felicia.
Felicia shook her head again, "I have no idea but if I find anything out or see her again, I would inform you both so that we can go over and disgrace her. I wonder where she was for this past three years and what she has been doing".
"I don’t care about that. All I want is to see her kneel and beg for me to take her back", Mary said with a proud look. Now that Erika was back, she would make sure to get back at her ex daughter in law. She had already planned on how to give the girl some more workload and Mary couldn’t be anymore happier.
"Me too. I miss my poor ex sister in law", Juliet added sarcastically.
