Chapter 363: KNOTS
"Now tie them quickly," Adrain ordered when he saw Jude looking at him with wide eyes. Jude saw the two chairs and the rope that was on the other side and reluctantly walked towards it.
Her greatest fear had finally come to pass. What if they killed her and her daughter as soon as Erika and Ethan gave them what they wanted?
As her thoughts ran wild, she placed the boys on the chair and tied them up absentmindedly.
"Tie them up tightly. They can escape with how loose those ropes are." Said Felicia, walking to the boys to do the job herself.
Without thinking, Jude parted her lips to ask,
"What exactly do you want from Ethan and Erika? What did they ever do to you? Or was it Erika? Is she your twin sister?"
Felicia hissed in annoyance hearing those questions come out from Jude’s mouth.
"What part of ’mind your business’ do you not understand? Do you want me to finish your daughter off?" She threatened and Jude immediately shook her head. "So stop asking questions."
"I understand," she nodded her head again.
She was desperate and she was willing to do anything at this point to get her daughter safe, especially after what they told her about not releasing her daughter until Erika and Ethan both met their needs.
"Now come with me, I need you to do something quickly for me," Felicia said and started walking away and Jude immediately followed behind her.

A few minutes later, John’s eyes flickered open as he stared at the unfamiliar room. The ceilings looked old and there wasn’t enough light to brighten up the place at all.
Looking beside him, he saw Luca still asleep and quickly nudged him.
"Wake up," he whispered.
After a few nudges, Luca finally woke up. His eyes also held confusion when he saw the unfamiliar room they were in.
"Where are we?" He whispered.
"I have no idea," John whispered back, trying to loosen the knot on his wrist. "Can you help me with this?" He asked Luca.
Luca stared at the knot and tried to loosen it but it was tight.
"I can’t loosen it," he said. "It’s quite tight," he added.
John hissed and looked down at Luca’s knot. "Let me try loosening yours," he suggested and started losing Luca’s knot which was surprisingly easier than his.
The rope fell on the ground and Luca immediately started helping John with his knot.
After several tries but with no progress, Luca was about to give up but then his eyes sighted a cupboard and he walked towards it.
"Where are you going?" John nearly screamed when he saw Luca walking away. Luca didn’t reply and opened the cupboard to search for something.
"I found a pair of scissors," he announced, smiling at the scissors in his hands. John’s eyes widened at the sight of the scissors.
"Mom and Dad have always told us to stay away from scissors, remember?"
"Yeah, but we need it to cut you loose." Without waiting for John to say anything anymore, Luca started cutting the rope. The rope was very thick and it took a while before he was able to successfully cut it loose. John wiggled his hands to have the blood flowing in them again.
"We need to get out of here." He said and with that, John grabbed Luca’s hand and walked to what seemed like the exit of the room.
"But how are we going to get out of here? We don’t even know where we are."
"Shush," John said when he heard a footstep passing. It seemed as if the figure was walking towards them but then it walked away. Once they couldn’t hear the footsteps anymore, they started walking in that direction.
"John..." Luca called. "We don’t know the way out of here so we must be really careful." He whispered.
"I know..." John whispered back and dragged Luca along with him. Jude had taken them during the evening and it was already nighttime which could only mean that they’d been gone for a while now.
Suddenly, they heard another footsteps and it was coming directly towards here before it paused all of a sudden.
"When are you going to call those couple and inform them that we have their children?"
They heard a woman’s voice ask.
"I’m sure they already know that we have their children, Felicia. But I will call them. I’m going to call them now and let them know." They heard a male voice reply and the worst part about the whole conversation was that they couldn’t see any of these people that were talking because the whole place was dimly lit.
The only thing they knew was that they were close. Especially the ladies.
"Alright, I’m going to see if they have woken up," said Felicia.
"Don’t do anything to those boys, yet Felicia," Adrain warned. Felicia didn’t reply to him and started walking towards the room where they’d tied the boys.
Hearing what she’d just uttered, the boy’s eyes widened in fear, and without wasting a second, they started walking back to the room.
Luckily for them, they weren’t too far away and they got in, took their seats, and tied the ropes around their hands again.
There was a little trouble with John’s rope since it had been cut to get his hands free earlier. Fortunately, the rope was long and some parts of it hadn’t been caught so he quickly tied it on his wrist, not too tightly with the help of his teeth and they both closed their eyes to pretend to be asleep.
As soon as their eyes were closed, Felicia walked inside the room with her heels clicking on the ground and her perfume filling the whole area.
"Hmm..." humming with a smile on her face as she walked towards them. "You both still haven’t woken up yet?" She asked, glaring at them this time but she didn’t receive any reply from either of them.
