Chapter 333: GOING
Some time passed and when Erika didn’t get the chance to make a move while taking both the babies along with her without making Viper getting suspicious of her, Erika gave up and decided it was time to go home. She wasn’t happy with the outcome of the outing since it didn’t lead to anything good.
No one in the park even looked in their direction or came to approach them to say ’hi’ or something. It was as if the both of them had turned invisible and those people couldn’t see them.
Erika entered the car with a scowl on her face after settling the babies inside. Viper noticed it and a slight grin came to appear on his face.
"Let’s go," he ordered Luke, who had been watching them from the rearview mirror. He nodded and ignited the engines of the car and drove away from the park.

When they got inside the house, the sweet aroma of deliciously prepared food filled the living room and the dining room.
"Oh, you both are back already?" Beatrice asked when she saw the both of them standing in front of the living. "I prepared some meal in case you both would come back hungry," she added, smiling brightly before her gaze landed on Erika— the scowl still evident on her face.
"I’m not hungry," Erika said and walked away with the stroller.
Beatrice stared at her disappearing back until she escaped into the room and her gaze turned to fall on Viper.
"Robert, what did you do to her? Did you annoy her again?" She questioned him.
"I didn’t do anything like that," Viper raised his hand in surrender. "She wanted to escape from me, that’s why she’d wanted to go to the park but I didn’t give her a chance to be out of my sight for a single second," he explained, sitting on the couch and crossing his legs.
"You are so heartless," Beatrice spat. "You still don’t want to listen to me when I said you should take her back to her family members before it’s too late," she reminded him.
"What do you mean by ’before it’s too late’?" He asked, confused this time.
"Before you fall deeply in love with her due to your obsession with Emma," Beatrice replied with her hands on her hips. "And we both know that if that does happen, it will take you a while before you finally let go of her."
"That’s not going to happen," Viper objected to the thought. "I love Erika, but I don’t think I can fall even more in love with her."
Beatrice sighed, resisting the urge to facepalm herself.
"You are so stubborn," she spouted out the words like a tired mother who keeps correcting the actions of her son while teaching him the right way to do it but he wouldn’t listen. "You know what, just do what you want," she added.
"I will be going to New York soon," Viper announced when Beatrice was about to walk back into the kitchen.
Beatrice halted her steps, turned, and stared at Viper. "Is Ethan back from Spain?" she asked.
Viper shook his head, indicating a ’no.’ "I want to teach Adrain a lesson. Mamba called me earlier this morning saying that the house was empty with no sign of Felicia or Adrain. It’s as if they knew I was going to kill them off and they decided to escape even before my foot landed in that city."
Beatrice nodded her head in understanding before asking,
"So what are you going to do now? Are you going to look for them?"
"I need to find them and get rid of them. They are the only problems in Erika’s life and I don’t want her to have anyone disrupting her peace later on," he replied. When he felt Beatrice’s eyes on him, he turned and asked her, "What?"
"You talk as if you are not part of the problems in her life," she blurted out. Sighing out loud, she added, "Do whatever you want but be careful. I wouldn’t want what happened the last time to happen again, hmm?" With that, she left for the kitchen.
On the dining table, Viper glanced at Erika as she munched on her meal with mixed emotions. From pain to anger then sadness and anger again and he knew he was the cause of all these emotions.
"I will be going to New York today," said Viper, looking at Erika and she paused her actions as she looked back at him, surprised.
She didn’t ask any questions and he continued, "Felicia and Adrian escaped from the house they were living in without informing my men. I have a feeling that they are going to cause you trouble. But since you are here, safe and sound, I don’t think they will succeed."
Erika glanced around the corners of the plate, avoiding the food before she asked,
"Are you going to kill them?"
"Do you want me to?" Viper asked her back.
Erika shook her head, which indicated a ’no’ reply. "Their son Jake still needs them. It would be unfair if you got rid of them, especially since they have a son together," Erika replied, taking another spoon in her mouth, chewed on it, and then swallowed.
"But if I don’t finish them, they might continue to disturb you even after I let you go back to Ethan," said Viper.
"Maybe you should let me go and I will deal with them the right way," Erika suggested even though she knew how much Viper would object to that idea. "They annoyed me the most so it’s only right that I get to teach them a lesson myself," she added.
Viper smirked at her, impressed by how determined she was to teach both Adrain and Felicia a lesson but he wasn’t going to let her leave without his permission.
"When I catch them, I can allow you to do what you want with them. But I’m going back alone. You are not coming with me," he smiled at her, used his napkin to clean his mouth then stood up to leave the dining room while Erika’s eyes followed him with a glare.
