Chapter 310: TOO MUCH WAITING
"You what?" Felicia gasped when she heard all Adrain had just told her. "You can’t be serious now. You are saying that Erika is pregnant and she’s pregnant for Ethan? Impossible, that’s very impossible."
"And why can’t that be possible? Are you hearing what you are saying, Felicia?" He asked her.
"No, are you hearing what YOU are saying, Adrain?" She asked him. "Erika can’t be pregnant for Ethan. Maybe she only had a bloating stomach and you thought she was pregnant."
Adrain was tired and didn’t want to argue anymore with Felicia since she didn’t want to believe what he was saying so he simply got up from the sofa and intended to leave her to conclude whatever she wanted to while he went to his room to rest and think of ways to get Erika back.
"Wait," Felicia pushed him back onto the sofa and he winced in pain. "You can’t just leave now, we have to think of a way to destroy her happy moment of daring to get pregnant for my man." Her eyes glared at him with evil ideas and he couldn’t help but be curious about the things she probably had all planned up now.
"What exactly are you thinking about in that pea-sized brain of yours?" Adrian asked her without holding his tinge on the insult.
Felici glared at him before she replied, "Erika can’t have that baby. Not on my watch. She can’t give birth to a baby for Ethan, the man I love so much, and expect me to let her be happy about it. That’s never happening," she promised.
"So...."
"Erika should get into a staged accident and the truck will run her over her belly and she will lose the baby." A slow smirk played its way to her lips before it fitted in and she smirked like a clown.
"We are not hurting Erika in any way like that," Adrain objected to the idea. I’ve told you many times that we are never going to hurt Erika again but you seem to always forget that part. It seems that you have forgotten my threat, Felicia." He glared back at her and she sighed before looking away.
"So what are you suggesting then? You and I both know that we don’t want that baby to stay alive. We both want him dead because that baby will ruin all of our plans," she reminded him. "Now that I think about it, didn’t you say that you told Viper one time that you were ready to strike but months have already passed and he still hasn’t done anything to help us with our revenge?"
"Will you shut up for a second?" Adrian growled at her and immediately, she clamped her mouth shut. "If they hear all that you are saying about Viper, you are going to be even bigger through with him than with me if you dare hurt Erika."
"Well, what did you want me to say?" Felicia asked him in a hushed tone now. "He’s been promising and months keep passing but nothing is being done. Aren’t you tired of waiting, Adrain? If you aren’t tired of waiting, I am."
Adrain turned speechless, not sure what he should say next. He had been waiting for Viper to take action since he didn’t hold any power anymore. Viper’s business was no longer part of his business since Viper didn’t involve him anymore. So, he simply listened to Viper with the hope that he would help him out.
But he couldn’t help but agree with what Felicia said, viper was taking too much of a long time to wait for the right time. They had been waiting for the right time and now, Erika was pregnant. Who knows, if he confronted Viper and the latter said they should wait for the right time again, Erika might have given birth by that time.
"What are you thinking about?" Felicia snapped her fingers in front of his face. "Are you understanding any of the things I’ve said?" She asked him and he nodded. "Good! Now, what do you plan on doing?" She asked him.
Adrain gave it some thought before he replied. "I’m going to confront Viper again and this time I will try to convince him to take action before Erika gives birth."
Felicia frowned, confused. "Before Erika gives birth? What exactly are you saying Adrain? You mean to tell me that Erika is going to carry that child for 9 good months and give birth to it safe and sound?" She asked him.
"I’m not sure," Adrain shook his head before he raised it to glare at her as a reminder. "You’d better not try anything Felicia and I’m not joking one bit. If you hurt Erika in any way, you are going to have three bullet holes in your forehead," he reminded her.
Felicia only scoffed at him but she couldn’t help but swallow at this threat. This wasn’t the first time he was saying it and the more he said it, the more it ignited fear inside her and now, she can’t help but feel scared. If she wanted to plan anything against Erika, she would have to think it through.
"I’ve heard. Just make sure that you get that boss of yours to do what’s right and stop waiting for the right time. We are on hot seats now and we don’t have much time anymore. But wait, what if he says that you have to wait a little more, then what?" she asked him.
"I will try to convince him this time around. I will make sure of it," Adrian replied.
"That’s very good. I need to go live with Ethan as soon as possible," she said and when she felt the glare from Adrain, she added, "Of course, and find out how to get our son away from that place. I could convince him to adopt him," she smirked at the thought of how much she was going to play with Ethan’s feelings.
