Chapter 268: GLARE AT THE BIRDS
Everyone glanced at each other, totally confused as to why there was a woman that had a similar facial feature as Erika but no one was as confused as Mrs Walters. She was very much aware that when she had given birth to Erika, she was the only one that came out and she didn’t give birth to twins.
"Do you think the picture was photoshopped?" Felix asked her and Erika shook her head again.
"I’m not sure. It could be because I’m sure I’ve never taken such a photo before," she said. "That woman’s face looked so similar to mine that I find it difficult to believe that she’s me. It must be photoshopped," she concluded.
She didn’t want to think too much about all of that anymore so she gently shook her head to get rid of all those thoughts. She was with her family now and she didn’t want to think about anything other than them.
"Let’s forget about it. It’s late now and I’m hungry," she whined while touching her belly rumbled in hunger.
Instantly, Erika’s mother stood up and rushed towards her as she said, "Let’s go and find you something to eat. We can continue this discussion some other time." And just like that, Erika was taken away by her mother and future mother-in-law to go bring some food.

The next day, the chirping birds were the first thing to greet them a good morning as Erika groaned in irritation and only wanted to sleep some more. It’s been a long time since she’d slept this peacefully and she only wanted to sleep some more but it seems like the chirping birds had taken it upon their heads to wake her up for sure.
Groaning even harder, Erika fluttered her eyes open and glared at the window, internally wishing that she could shut the mouths of those birds that hung out on the windows.
But after several glares and nothing still happened to them, she sighed and tried getting up from the bed but a large hand immediately circled its way around her waist and pulled her towards him as he snuggled his head under her neck to breathe in her scent.
Erika nearly gasped but thought that Ethan must still be asleep while doing all of this. She looked around the hospital room until her eyes settled on the white ceilings above. She had decided to stay close with Ethan last night and the latter also wanted the same thing too.
She snaked her hands into his pile of soft curls and he hummed in delight as he snuggled even more under her neck.
"I know you are not awake Ethan," she commented.
Ethan hummed again and said, "I just want to hold you close like this." When his hot breath landed on her neck, she suddenly stiffened and didn’t dare to say anything that would make Ethan reply to her again because if his breath landed on her neck again, she might just lose it and attack him with kisses that very instant.
When Ethan didn’t hear Erika say anything anymore, he raised his head to find her fancying the ceilings so dearly as if there was a hidden language written on it.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked her and she responded by slightly shaking her head.
Ethan didn’t believe her but when he saw the goosebumps that appeared on her skin, he had an idea about what she was thinking about.
With a grin, he snuggled back under her neck and said, "No matter how much you stare at the ceiling, it’s not going to make a single sound."
Without waiting for her to react, Ethan stuck out his tongue and licked her soft flesh before he suddenly bit her and Erika moaned without any restraint. Ethan had always known that her neck was her soft spot to getting her aroused and he was very much aware of what he was doing to her.
Releasing the skin, Ethan sucked on the flesh while his hands roamed around her waist. Her heart skipped several beats when she felt his hand roaming around her waist and stomach. It was enlightening fire in her.
"Ethan, control yourself. This is a hospital and we shouldn’t do this here," she tried to stop him but instead of listening to her, Ethan bit her hard again and she moaned before she closed her mouth as tightly as possible. "What if someone walks in here?" She asked him, hoping that he would listen this time.
Ethan raised his face to make eye contact with her and grinned deviously, the kind of grin that he would give her whenever he was planning to do something ’bad’ to her, and for some reason, Erika instantly became excited but quickly got her senses back when her mind started having lewd thoughts.
"You seem to have the time to think," he said and Erika frowned in confusion. She parted her lips to speak but all words were immediately snatched from her as soon as Ethan captured her lips into a kiss.
He kissed her roughly, wanting to steal her breath as soon as possible while Erika worried if it was okay for him to be kissing her like this. As much as she tried to keep her sanity, Ethan would suck her tongue in a manner that she would feel like she was in heaven.
Despite finding it hard to breathe, Erika tried to keep him back with the same hunger.
In the middle of their kissing, Ethan snaked his hands into her shirt and gripped her naked busts with his warm hands so softly that she moaned loudly into his mouth and he immediately silenced her by sucking her lips as if he was sucking lollipop.
Ethan was not at all surprised that she didn’t wear a single bra since Erika had always hated wearing bras at night. He moved his index fingers and pinched her nipples and she moaned again.
"Ethan...ahn," but it was immediately swallowed by another kiss.
