Chapter 202: LIQUID FRIEND
After her talk with Erika, Felicia went into her room to grab her bag and was about to leave but bumped into Mary.
"Where are you going?" Mary asked her. The last time that Felicia had left without informing her, she had questioned Felicia to tell her what she was up to but the latter only kept it a secret. The both of them had always done everything together so since Felicia started hiding things from her, it made her feel suspicious, it was as if Felicia didn’t trust her anymore.
"I will be back soon," Felicia replied and left.
Mary stared at Felicia’s back but didn’t bother to stop her anymore. She couldn’t help but feel disappointed that Felicia had been cheating on Adrian even before their marriage. Just as much as she was evil and had killed two people, plus hating on her ex-daughter-in-law, she’d never expected that the one whom she thought was a better choice was an even worse choice.
Thinking that Felicia was the best daughter-in-law, not because she was from an influential family or whatever, she’d trusted the woman and thought she was pure but sadly, she was disappointed by the acts that Felicia had committed.
Mary followed behind Felicia and watched her leave the gate. She glanced back at the mansion and remembered how big the Hart mansion was.
She also missed her lavish lifestyle and her husband. After releasing a sigh, she walked back inside the mansion to take care of her grandson.

Felicia arrived at the same laboratory that Mr Lee worked in and waited for him to be through with his patient before she entered. She could have simply gone inside and created a ruckus but with her covered face, she’d only bring suspicion to herself.
After the patients left the office, she walked inside and tapped on Mr Lee’s table. "Do you have what I’m looking for now?" She questioned him. Days had passed since she’d visited this same office and she swore she’d only visit the office when what she was looking for would be handed over to her.
Mr Lee, who had been having sleepless nights, trying to find the acid that Felicia had been asking from him rubbed his eyes to keep himself awake.
He stood up from his chair and responded, "I have it. But before I give it to you, I need to tell you something."
"Just tell me after you show me the acid," Felicia cut him off impatiently. She didn’t want to waste too much time with him since she had somewhere else to visit.
Mr Lee sighed before he walked out of his office and headed to the main laboratory where toxic chemicals were kept with Felicia following behind him.
The both of them entered the laboratory and he instructed the people inside to excuse them. Everyone left but not before sparing the scarfed woman a glance or two.
Felicia watched Mr Lee walk towards a transparent shelf, he unlocked the shelf, brought out a glass container, and walked back towards her.
Felicia’s eyes shone brightly when she saw the glass container. The content inside looked precious and beautiful in her eyes since it was what she wanted to use to make her enemy pay.
"This is the acid you were looking for," Mr lee pointed out.
Felicia reached out to grab it but Mr Lee moved the glass container away. "This is not a play toy Felicia, you have to be careful with it and must wear a glove whenever you want to touch it," Mr Lee informed her.
"But it’s in a glass, it should be fine," said Felicia as she continued to stare at the glass with anticipation. It was as if the content inside was calling her name.
"This is acid. You must be careful with it else, it could pour on you," he warned her but from the look on Felicia’s face, the latter didn’t seem to be listening to him.
"Are you listening to me, Felicia?" He asked her and she responded by simply nodding her head. She reached to grab the glass container again but Mr Lee wouldn’t let her. "You have to wear a glove first."
Without speaking, Felicia grabbed the nearest pair of gloves and wore them. Mr Lee carefully handed the glass container over to Felicia and the latter took it without wasting a second.
Felicia revealed a crooked smile as she admired the red liquid in the container which looked like red wine.
"Finally! You are now here with me my friend. You are going to help me achieve my goals," she spoke to the container as if it was a real person who had Mr Lee give her a side-eye. He had a hint that Felicia could be crazy or mentally unstable since she was asking for acid. But he’d never thought that it would be this severe.
"So now that you have what you are looking for, don’t ever show your face to me," said Mr Lee. He loved his wife and wouldn’t want her to find out about Felicia and that they were still in contact, his marriage would only end up being at stake again.
"Not so fast Mr lee," Felicia said when she was finally done admiring the acid. "I still have one more thing to ask of you," she added before she placed the glass container on a table. Just as much as she was happy about finally having the acid, she didn’t want to be careless with it and let it come in close contact with her skin.
"You said you wouldn’t show your face to me anymore after I get you what you wanted so there’s nothing you are going to ask of me that I would agree to do for you," he replied with a firm voice. All he wanted was for her to leave and let him get back to work.
Felicia smiled before she remarked,
"You are quite in a rush to throw me away. I didn’t offend you, you know. I’m bringing business to you."
"And what kind of business is that?" He questioned her.
