Chapter 201: UNCOMFORTABLE POSSIBILITIES
"What are you even talking about Felicia? Can you even hear the nonsense you are saying?" Erika questioned her. She knew she shouldn’t be taking Felicia’s obsession seriously but the latter’s actions irritated her. How could she be shameless to the extent of admitting her abnormal ’love’ for both men, especially Ethan? Erika wondered.
"I don’t care about what you think or say about it but I’ve told you what I wanted to tell you," Felicia concluded as she circled Erika before continuing, "Ever since I laid my eyes on Ethan at Mr Gustavo’s party, I’ve been having wet dreams about him. But when I saw him smiling at you and holding your hand, I swore that I would take him away from you the same way you took Adrian from me."
Erika rubbed her temples as she released a tired sigh as if getting tired of the conversation. Felicia had always blamed her for snatching Adrian from her which she didn’t think was the truth but her sudden obsession with Ethan infuriated her but didn’t react to it because it was simply the words of a brainless person and nothing but trash that comes out from the mouth of a brainless person, Erika thought to herself.
Felicia had slept with a lot of men so her eyes only searched for rich and handsome men and Ethan happened to fall into that category. Since her secret was already revealed to everyone, she didn’t think it was necessary to act like a saint but should just come true to her nature and act like the whore she was.
Speechless, Erika began to wonder if there was a possibility that Felicia might have hit her head somewhere when she had been in jail because she didn’t quite understand her words. It left her confused. Felicia had mentioned snatching Ethan from her but she found the threat rather funny than scary.
"How will you do that?" Erika questioned her. "You really shouldn’t be talking like that Felicia, you sound like a repeated record."
Even more infuriated than she already was, Felicia raised her hand, ready to strike Erika but the latter didn’t dodge but instead said,
"If you don’t want to get another hideous scar apart from the one on your face, I dare you to proceed."
As if her hand was under some control, Felicia’s hand continued to hang up in the air for a few seconds before she brought it down. She’d witnessed how Erika had beaten Adrian up a few days ago and one didn’t need to tell her that Erika knew about self-defense and she could easily be thrown across the sofa if she angered Erika even more and she wanted to avoid that.
"Doesn’t this make you feel sad, Erika?" Felicia suddenly asks. "You are here, and Ethan is in the hospital. Aren’t you afraid that he could loose his memory just like Adrian said and forget all about you, tsk tsk tsk," Felicia gently clucked on her tongue which signified disappointment before she continued, "If that happens, that would be shameful for you."
"I don’t think we are that close for you to be this worried about me Felicia, that act of yours gives me goosebumps so stop it," Erika demanded with a fierce look.
"Who says I’m worried about you? I’m not," said Felicia. "I’m just saying because if that happens, you will be stuck here forever and I will be somewhere better," she added with a devious smirk that pulled her lips up.
Erika frowned at her, not quite understanding what Felicia meant.
"What do you mean?" Erika asked with a raised eyebrow as she stared at Felicia intently.
"You will see soon, Erika," Felicia trailed off as she left, leaving Erika to ponder about everything that had just occurred. She didn’t want to listen to their words and believe all they had been saying because that would only make her feel confused so she also left the living room.

In the other part of the mansion, Viper continued around to walk until he suddenly stopped. He recalled Erika’s blue eyes which was the only thing that differed her from Emma, his wife.
Swiftly, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He searched for a picture until he found what he was looking for.
He caressed his late wife’s picture, Emma with a sad smile plastered on his lips. He didn’t want to start following Erika whenever she went around the mansion just because he doubted that she could be his late wife.
When he’d gone for his business trip, he went to the cemetery she’d been buried in. He even went as far as to instruct his men to dig out the grave and bring out her body. Although he disrespected her peace, he wanted to be assured that both Erika and Emma were different people.
After witnessing the remnants of his wife in the coffin, he’d felt foolish for actually thinking that there was still a chance that she was alive and could be Erika.
He’d concluded that they were both different people but after sighting Erika in the hallway, trying to unlock the door earlier, he couldn’t bring himself to stay away from her. Like as if she was a magnet and he was the metal, he was forcefully drawn towards her. And what frustrated him was that he enjoyed the force that pulled him towards her.
"Erika is in her late twenties and Emma should be in her early thirties by now if she was alive so there’s no way they could be the same person, right?" He questioned himself before he vigorously shook his head. "They aren’t the same person," he tried to conclude but whenever he thought that it could be a possibility, his mouth would suddenly taste sour. The facial familiarity that Erika held with his late wife bothered him just as much as he enjoyed their proximity.
"I will need to dig deeper, what if Erika is Emma?" He sighed.
