Chapter 112: MISSED
What the heck, Adrain!! Are you crazy..." Felicia did not get the chance to complete her statement and her body was lifted off the bed, and roughly pulled by Adrain.
"Let go of me!" She tried to free her arm that was being roughly grabbed by him like he was going to yank it right off their sockets.
Arriving at the living room, the news was still being reported.
"What is the meaning of this?" He questioned her as he pointed to the TV.
Felicia stared at the TV screen with her mouth open wide. Videos of her banging some young rich bachelors were displayed. Some were old married men who were old enough to be her father.
"Is this the reason you have been coming home late?" He questioned as his eyes flamed red in anger.
Felicia turned speechless, and didn’t know how to reply to that question. Seeing a video, she did not know how to give her reply without stuttering. Her eyes shivered in fear of having been exposed by an unknown person.
"Adrain, I can explain," she tried to explain. "These are not what you think they are", she tried to convince him but the look in Adrain’s eyes was obvious that he could kill her right here and then.
Felicia subconsciously gulped down her saliva in fear.
PAK!!
Adrain slapped her on the other cheek. "You are a disgusting woman", he spat out.
Instantly, Felicia dropped the act she was putting up.
"And so what? Those men treated me more like a woman than you ever did", she casually said without a hint of guilt in her tone.
Flabbergasted by the words that poured out of her mouth, Adrain stood frozen. Never in his entire life did he think that Felicia, his lover who turned into his wife, would actually cheat on him and still be bold enough to admit it without any shame.
Speechless, Adrain just stared at her.
"You know, I never really loved you Adrian", Felicia dropped another bomb that seemed to have destroyed Adrain this time. He stared at her with eyes wide open in shock. She checked her fancily painted fingernails as she continued, "I only loved you for your money".
"What do you mean?" He questioned her.
Felicia shifted her gaze from her fingernails to look at Adrian as if he was stupid.
"Are you an idiot?" She questioned him back. "You were rich when we met but now.....tsk tsk tsk", she said as she sized him up from head to toe. "You are poor".
"How dare you...."
"What? It is the truth after all. I have been cheating on you even before we got married", she revealed. "Those times were so good. You were cheating on your wife with me not knowing that I was cheating on you too, you are really stupid Adrain".
Adrain thought about her words and he couldn’t help but admit that it was the truth. He was stupid for ever cheating on Erika when they were still married. Thinking he was marrying a better woman, karma decided to hit him on the spot and now he has become a victim of it too.
"You disgust me, Felicia," he spat out angrily.
"I don’t care", she simply remarked and sat down on the small couch. "I don’t care about you Adrain, only your money", she continued.
"Then why are you still here?!" He yelled as he yanked her body away from the soft cushion and threw her to the entrance door. "Get out of my house, you disgustful bitch!"
"You are right. What am I still doing in your little rat hole you call a house? My family might not be rich anymore but they are not as poor as you" She argued back while regaining her stance. "You are so pathetic Adrain, you are the biggest mistake I have ever made", she said before opening the door and banging it close afterwards. Oblivious to Adrain that he had just thrown the woman who was pregnant with his child out of his house.
He grabbed his hair in frustration before yelling loudly,
"You are the biggest mistake I ever made Felicia?!"
Without realizing it, tears started falling from his eyes, he was crying.
The news on the TV was still playing out loudly as the lewd videos continued to be exposed. In anger, Adrain took the can of beer that he had been drinking earlier and without any second thoughts, he threw it harshly on the TV screen and it broke terribly.
As if that wasn’t enough for the poor TV, he went to it and carried it before he threw it on the ground as if the TV had been the root of all his problems.
While stomping on it harshly to vent out his anger, some of the sharp objects pricked his skin, drawing out blood. He didn’t care about that pain because the one he was feeling in his heart was so much more painful.
When he was satisfied with himself, the TV couldn’t be recognized anymore. So many parts of it have been damaged beyond repair. Adrain’s legs had so many cuts but he wiggled the pain away.
With his body glistening with sweat and red from his venting, Adrain tried to relax but he couldn’t. How could he relax when he had just found out that his wife had been cheating on him and then admitted it without any shame?
He had cheated on Erika back then because he was disgusted by her but now that he had married the real disgusting one, he didn’t know what to call himself. A fool?
"I am so stupid", Adrain mumbled under his breath.
He had missed a woman who truly loved him for years. Now he remembered what his late grandmother told him.
"You are missing a good woman, Adrian". He heard the faint voice of his late grandmother who always warned him about Felicia.
Even though he had cheated on Erika multiple times, he had never cheated on Felicia before. That thought had never come across his mind at all but she dared to do it to him.
Feeling regretful, Adrain went back to those times when Erika would try everything to appease him so that he would love her back. The late-night calls when he was late from work that is spending private time with Felicia.
The meals she would prepare for him even though he would glare at her or insult her first.
He missed those moments.
