"What do you think you’re doing?" Orion asked with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

"I just wanted to show them the result of our training," Mia’s cute pointy ears hung low when she noticed the stern look on his face.

Her tails, which had been happily swishing behind her a few moments ago, had stopped and dropped between her legs while she rubbed where Orion had landed a chop.

Of course, Orion might have a stern look on his face right now, but he also had a little bit of a smile on his lips because of how cute his girlfriend looked right now.

Moments like these were rare since she had now grown older, but he treasured it a lot.

"You and Dahlia have been training for more than an hour now, don’t you think the two of you deserve some rest?" He asked, but before Mia could say anything, Aslan was the first to reply.

"Oh, we’ll give them enough time to rest before we begin. Unless you don’t want us to train with them?"

"It’s not that I do not want them to train with you guys, I just wanted them to rest first before doing anything else. Besides, we’re all going to be teammates for the tournament, so I don’t see why we shouldn’t train together."

"Good, then it is settled, the ladies will be given half an hour to rest and recover their strength, and once they are ready, the friendly match will begin. Do you agree?" Aslan asked Orion and he responded with a nod.

Seeing this, Aslan’s grin widened even more, then he turned towards Adrian and Arthur. "Come on, boys, we can’t allow Orion and his girls to win against us."

Adrian and Arthur hyped themselves up as well and everyone got prepared for their training.

About half an hour later, everyone gathered around the training field while hovering above the ground. "Alright, the friendly match is very simple. We have about one hour to show what we can do, and our goal is to score as many points as possible," Orion informed them, and everyone nodded in understanding.

"Is everyone ready?" He glanced around and he could see the determined look on their faces. "Good, then let the game begin."

The match began with Orion tossing the ball into play, but Mia and Arthur instantly darted forward to grab the ball, soaring high into the sky.

However, unlike Mia who just began her first training today, Arthur had been training before her. So he had a lot of experience with the game, which made it easier for him to snatch the ball just before Mia could grab it.

"Haha, I got it!!" Arthur quickly tossed the ball towards Adrian, but just before Adrian could grab hold of the ball, Dahlia swiftly intercepted the ball mid-air.

"Nice one, Dahlia!!" Orion cheered, but Dahlia didn’t wait to see the look Orion currently had on his face. Instead, she turned her attention toward the three-goal rings behind Aslan.

However, she also noticed Mia heading towards the goal ring on the right, so she swiftly followed Mia with the hope of passing the ball to her the moment Mia got very close to the ball.

Meanwhile, Aslan could see what their plans were.

Since today was their first time practicing Air ball, it could only mean that both ladies could not launch a throw from a very far distance.

In other words, both of them needed to get very close to the goal ring before they would be able to toss the ball into the ring.

The goal ring was a small circular object that required a player to have sufficient experience in Air Ball before he or she would be able to score from a far distance.

So, with this thought in mind, Aslan decided to aim for Mia because Adrian was actively chasing after Dahlia, so she was definitely under pressure to pass the ball or throw the ball into the ring in time.

And in this case, the former would definitely be the safest option to follow.

As for Arthur, he had turned his attention towards the other two rings which were exposed now that Aslan was no longer here.

He was still a bit far from the rings, but he knew he had to defend it in case Dahlia and Mia were somehow able to dribble both Aslan and Adrian or in case Orion decided to run toward the goal ring instead.

Unlike the two beautiful ladies, Orion was the only one who could easily toss and score from a long range.

However, to everyone’s surprise, Dahlia tightened her grip on her ball and aimed it straight toward the goal ring Arthur could never reach in time.

Her perfect aim ensured the ball sailed through the air with great speed and precision, before passing through the goal ring to help Orion, Mia, and Dahlia earn the first point of the game.

"I-I did it?" Dahlia uttered with a surprised look on her face.

"I won, We won, I scored a point!!!" Dahlia cheered louder when she realized she had really scored and won them a point.

"You did it, Dahlia!!!" Mia swiftly flew towards Dahlia to give her a hug and she hugged Mia back with a blush on her face and a proud smile as well.

She was currently blushing for two reasons.

The first was because Orion was looking at her from the other side of the goal while giving her a thumbs up, with a charming smile on his face.

The second reason was that Orion was the one who advised her to take the shot.

Initially, Dahlia had wanted to pass the ball to Mia, but she had seen Aslan approaching Mia, and with his build, it wouldn’t have been difficult for him to easily intercept Mia, so Dahlia hesitated about what she should do, but then Orion’s voice emerged in her mind and he simply said two words. ’Throw it.’

That was all she needed to hear as Dahlia steeled her grip on the ball before aiming toward the goal ring from a very far distance, which caught her opponent by surprise and caused their jaws to drop to the ground.

"She actually took the shot," Arthur said with a surprised look on his face.

"This is a dream, right? I can’t believe we’re going to lose this game to a bunch of girls," Adrian voiced out his thoughts, but Aslan wasn’t going to give up just yet.

"We’re not going to lose," His voice was stern and a bit terrifying, but this allowed Arthur and Adrian to see how determined he was to win this friendly match.

They could also see how focused his eyes were and they decided not to give up before the match ended.

"Yeah, we’re going to win this."

"Indeed."

Aslan heard the words coming out of Adrian and Arthur’s lips, and his lips widened into a smile. "Good, now let’s show them how to play this game."

The game continued, and the training field was filled with the sound of the six of them yelling for their teammates to pass, tackle, or score a goal.

Of course, the sound of laughter also echoed wildly in the training field because everyone was having fun and that was the second most important thing right now, with winning the match being their number one priority.

Time went by and the sun began to set. The clear blue sky changed into an orange hue and everyone lowered themselves to the ground, breathing and panting heavily after the intense friendly match between themselves.

"That was amazing," Mia was the first to speak up.

"It certainly was, the two of you really make a really good team," Aslan complimented both Mia and Dahlia.

He had developed a sense of respect for Mia after witnessing the strength and skill she possessed.

He also decided to call Mia by her title because of how Dahlia had been calling her by it whenever she wanted to pass the ball to her.

"Yeah, and to be honest, I never expected the game to end in a tie," Adrian said with his arms spread out on the grass.

"Thirty points each for both teams. It’s a really good score and I feel that with a little more practice, we should be more than ready for the tournament." Arthur suggested and Aslan agreed.

"Yes, I agree. We just need to practice a bit more and we’ll definitely crush the competition."

"True, but for now, I need a lot of rest and a lot of sleep as well," Adrian melted into the soft grass underneath him and everyone chuckled until they heard Orion’s voice as he approached everyone on the ground.

"You all look so exhausted," Orion teased before clicking his fingers.

The moment he clicked his fingers, five bottles of water appeared out of thin air and everyone thanked him for the water before grabbing one and gulping it down their throats.

A satisfied sigh filled the air, and Orion sat beside Dahlia, who was now breathing at a relaxed pace.

"You impressed me a lot today, Dahlia," He patted her head gently and Dahlia buried her head in his chest to conceal the huge smile on her face.

She buried her face deeper into his chest to feel more of his warm hands on her head, and because she didn’t want anyone else to see how happy she was right now to be petted by him.
