Chapter 169: Leaving the sect together

After spending an hour with his master, Brian finally left the cave and sprinted toward the meeting point with his master.

"Brian, while you are inside GOFL, try to be careful of Devil Race. Unlike other races, they are extremely cruel so they won’t hesitate to do anything, go to any length if they truly want to kill you."

"You might even get an offer to join a temporary alliance from the other races to fight against devils. In that case, just do it. There is no need to hold back when it comes to dealing with the devils." Cao Ping gave him a strong look as she spoke.

Brian nodded his head with a serious expression and asked "Master, why is there such hatred between us? I mean, there has to be someone who is trying to initiate the war, right? Is it devil race?"

Cao Pin was surprised by his question but she shook her head and said "Actually, we don’t know why we are still fighting. We are just fighting. None of us can coexist with each other. That’s enough reason. But, I know, you wouldn’t think this should be enough to spark these deadly wars between races."

Hearing her words, Brian shook his head and said "No, actually I understand you. People aren’t smart. They want to make their life easier. Even if they know the things they are doing are actually harming them, they will continue to do it because, for them, it makes their life easier."

"So, they will continue to do this until their lives are finally affected by it. But, after that, it will already be too late."

Hearing his words, Cao Ping gave him a deep look and asked.

"So, do you know how to stop this kind of madness?"

Brian was surprised. He looked at her and asked.

"Why do you want to stop this war? I mean, wouldn’t it be good for humans if they could capture the other races’ lands?"

Cao Ping rolled her eyes and angrily shouted.

"You exactly know why. Now, tell me if there is a way to solve this kind of situation."

Brian chuckled and calmed her down.

"Actually, this is not a difficult thing to achieve. Well, as long as you have enough luck or maybe bad luck."

Cao Ping tilted her head in confusion as she didn’t understand what he meant by that.

Brian chuckled even more as he answered "You hate monarchy and because of that, you work very hard to replace them. Eventually, you get there and the monarchy is replaced by democracy."

"It seems like you have brought a big change in your life but what ends up happening is that you don’t get any improvement in your life. You still live the same old miserable life."

"And, at that moment, you start to miss the monarchy. Because you try to find the excuses that would make monarchy better than democracy. So, in the end, you are the one to suffer the most, right?"

"But, there is a way to change this. Keep it changing. Yes, don’t stop until you make more people realize that what you are doing is making their lives uncomfortable."

"After all, until you get more people into your side, you won’t be able to make any difference at all. So, the first thing that you need to do is gather people. Either make this war even more intense, forcing people to understand the cruelty of the war, or just waiting until people eventually face trouble."

"After that, you need to gather your own people and finally start making change. Of course, the reason why I said bad luck isn’t part of this yet. Now, it finally comes into action."

"Although you can stop the war, it will only be temporary. If you solve a problem without doing much, then that problem will arise once again. So, you need to gain the attention of the people, make them understand why they must co-exist."

"For that, you need another war. You need an enemy that is so strong that it will force everyone to come together and then fight against your enemies. Only when they are driven to the point where they must join their hands, you can truly make peace."

"You already have everything. The only thing that you didn’t have was a person who was extremely motivated for peace among all four races. This is the most crucial step and you lacked it before."

"If you ever find someone with that kind of motivation, you will be able to create peace in this continent."

Hearing his words, Cao Ping fell into contemplation. After all, no one has ever given her a strategy like this. She understood it all and that’s what worried her.

Because Brian was clearly saying that she isn’t the person with that kind of motivation. But, where could she ever find a person with such a motivation to keep the peace between four races?

"Don’t think too much! If fate is on your side, then such a person will arrive soon." Brian sighed upon seeing her expression and calmed her down.

He wanted to hold her to comfort her but then he realized that he was still within the boundaries of the sect and also outside. So, it would be extremely bad if someone sees them hugging.

So, he had to control himself. As they left, Cao Ping suddenly said something that stunned him.

"Brian, I am coming with you."

Brain froze for a moment and looked back at her. He stared at her face for a moment and asked "Is that even possible?"

"It is possible if I put a ban on my cultivation. As long as I can’t access my powers then I can easily come with you. Besides, I just need to put my strength around Law Condensation Realm, so I won’t be useless for you." Cao Ping acted a bit cute to convince him.

"It’s not that I don’t want to take you with me but you know that an elder can’t accompany a disciple inside the GOFL unless it is an emergency situation." Brian asked.

"That might be true but it doesn’t matter. I have a way to change my appearance. Nobody would even recognize me. Besides, I just want to be together with you."

"I am too bored of being alone." Cao Ping put her arms across her chest and pouted. But, behind that cute expression, he could see the loneliness. After spending a week with her, he understood a lot about her.

He didn’t just spend his time on sex. He did a bunch of different things including understanding her and her emotions. While it was certainly hard, it wasn’t impossible.

Cao Ping was one of the top geniuses who managed to reach the Forbidden Realm in the Foundation Establishment Realm. After that, she just kept making progress.

Nobody, not a single soul could keep up with her. In fact, she is less than fifty years and she is already a Lord Realm cultivator with the strength of an Ancestor Realm.

Because of that, she was left alone. Nobody in her generation was able to walk beside her and it led her to be alone. There were only a few people she could actually call friends.

One of them being Elder Tu.

And, it was also the reason why she couldn’t find love. Because she wanted to be loved by someone who can keep up with her or at least try. She once tried to be in a relationship but later find out that the guy was living in arrogance because of her status.

He was later brutally killed by her when he went overboard and tried to get his hands on some of the important resources of the sect using her status.

That’s why she never had a lover after that.

Brian bitterly sighed and suddenly snapped his finger. A white cloud covered them as he pulled her closer into his embrace and said.

"You should change now."

Hearing his words, a big smile appeared on Cao Ping’s face. She quickly used a new technique and changed her appearance to of a young teenage girl. She had quite a brute look before.

Although she was beautiful, her beauty was hidden by her brute personality. She never tried to change her personality because she felt like she could only live in isolation.

But now that she was actually living the life with more freedom, she obviously wanted to get that youthful look back. Of course, for her, it wasn’t hard. If she wanted, she could easily buy a Beauty Pill that allows an older female to change their appearance.

It would consume a large amount of spiritual energy that she wouldn’t be able to recover but for someone like her, it would be nothing. After she changed, the white clouds disappeared and Brian held her hand.

"Alright then, let’s leave the sect and enjoy this time in the war."
