Chapter 165: Creating an A.I. in Cultivation World

Soon after they reached the Weapon Hall, they were greeted by Elder Tu. He seemed overly excited just like the other elders. These elders weren’t focused on fighting.

They could fight but they still choose to pursue knowledge. Knowledge of a specific kind. And, getting a chance to increase their knowledge was too much of an opportunity for them to miss.

When he arrived, Brian was checking through the entire Weapon Halls. There were all kinds of weapons. Most of them were kept inside a glass cage.

There were less than two Immortal Rank weapons. But there were a lot of Saint Rank weapons. Although he couldn’t access both of them.

He wasn’t in hurry though. What he required wasn’t Saint Rank or Immortal Rank. In fact, any rank above Mortal Rank would do the trick.

"Brian, so what is it that you wanted to talk to us about?" Elder Su asked with an impatient expression.

"Hehe! Don’t be impatient elders. The thing that I want to make here can be revolutionary for us. So, I would need cooperation from all of you. It would be one hell of a complex project."

"And, to complete it within a week would be even more complex. I have the idea but I don’t have the tools or even knowledge about what kind of tool we would need to use. So, I am very honored to have you here."

"Ohhh! It seems like you truly have a grand idea. I feel so excited about this. Tell me, hurry up!" Elder Su freaked out of excitement as he held Brian’s shoulders and shook him.

"Calm down, Elder Su. Let me take it out." Brian was stunned by his excitement. He understood why Elder Su had such gloomy eyes. Although he thought Elder Su would be a maniac at experimentation, he never thought he would this crazy.

After getting out of his hands, Brian took out a big piece of paper with a drawing on it. On the paper, there was a drawing of armor. Since there was no equipment to make nanotech, he had to rely on a complete armory.

"Is it some kind of puppet?" Elder Tu curiously stared at it and asked.

"Kind off but it is more of an armor. Of course, it isn’t normal armor. If it was, I wouldn’t have called you here. This is a rather unique armor that combines power with techniques." Brian responded.

Hearing his words, three elders looked at each other with confusion and asked "What exactly do you mean by coming power and techniques? Isn’t that basically puppetry?"

"As I said, it is kind of puppetry but instead of being a puppet, it is an armor that utilizes the technique encoded in it for the support, not for offensive or defensive purpose."

"It would be powered by A.I. It basically meant Weapon Spirit. But unlike normal weapon spirit, we need to make sure that we create weapon spirit, rather than letting it be born." Brian explained.

"Whoa! You mean you want to create a weapon spirit? That’s crazy. How can we ever create a weapon spirit?" Elder Mo looked at him with crazed eyes and asked.

"No, it is possible." Elder Tu suddenly intercepted.

"What do you mean?" Elder Mo looked at him with confusion and asked.

"Hah! A long time ago, there was a person who tried to create the weapon spirit. The reason behind his idea was a bit absurd. When a weapon spirit is born, we need a lot of time to make a proper relationship with it." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

"And, if we want to grow the weapon spirit in our weapon, we need to spend a lot of resources and time on it. So, that man planned to create a weapon spirit that will listen to his command."

"The weapon spirit would be able to do anything, almost everything that any other normal weapon spirit could do except it can be completely controlled. Is this kind of weapon spirit you want to create?"

Hearing his words, Brian was surprised. He didn’t think someone would have this kind of idea. He nodded.

"Yes, exactly but my plans for weapon spirit are much greater than just to control it. There are lots of things that a weapon spirit would be able to do if they are created."

"But, that was an unsuccessful project. How are you planning on making it successful?" Elder Tu asked.

"Well, first we need to understand the core explanation behind the birth of a weapon spirit. Then, we need to copy that method and make some tweaks. Of course, these tweaks would allow Weapon Spirit to do something that a human can’t." Brian answered.

"What do you mean?" Three elders asked him at the same time.

"I meant a weapon spirit that can use more than one, or even more than hundreds of cultivation techniques or martial arts simultaneously," Brian spoke.

His words widened their eyes.

"Impossible!"

It was the word that came out of their mouths. At this moment, all of them had the same thoughts about his idea.

"It is possible though."

"How?" Three of them ganged up on him as they asked.

"It wouldn’t be easy but it is possible. Look, how does a weapon spirit is born?" Brian asked.

"Weapon Spirits are basically spiritual consciousness. Whenever a weapon goes through thousands of different experiences, it unlocks a strange law that allows it to create a space."

"This space is what we call spiritual consciousness. But, it is not exactly spiritual consciousness yet. After it creates this space, it absorbs the emotions of its user and the spiritual energy from the surroundings."

"When it does that, after a certain period of time, it develops spiritual thoughts. This thought is still empty but it is thought nonetheless. When this thought merges with the empty spiritual consciousness, it creates a spirit which we call weapon spirit." Elder Tu explained.

"Yes, that’s how a weapon spirit comes to being. But, what if we make some tweaks to these processes? What if instead of emotions, we install data? Data being anything that is written in the cultivation techniques and martial arts."

"Then, instead of creating such space, we can create an array. A kind of array that can handle a thousand? No, a million? No, but billions of different words moving around at the same time."

"And, this kind of array is possible. There is a Memory Holding Array that can store the memories of people. There is also Teleportation Array that shortens the space between two weapons which can be used in this array as well."

"Then, there is Spiritual Control Array. This array allows a person to control anyone who falls into this kind of array. We can use these three arrays perfectly to create a new kind of array which I call."

"Microprocessor"

"Of course, we need to constantly put energy into it. And, that’s where Elder Su comes in. Instead of relying on the old method to create energy through pills, we are going to combine array and pill together to create something that can transform any kind of energy into the other kind of energy."

"That means we would be creating an array that works on pills. The reason why I chose pill is that we can store an enormous amount of energy into a small marble size item."

"I know all of this seems quite impossible but it is possible if we work together. I would need all of your knowledge and you will need my ideas to complete the ’Microprocessor’."

Hearing his words, they were stunned. It was breathtaking. For the first time in their life, they were excited and nervous at the same time. And, it wasn’t normal excitement or nervousness.

If this was possible, then they could truly change the world.

Actually, Brian wasn’t just creating it for the armor. He was also creating it for the treasure that he has in his mind. This treasure would allow him to sit back with his family and relax.

Because he knows until he handles his own variants, he won’t be able to relax. And, he doesn’t know how long it will take. Just being seven days away from his daughters was hard for him.

He can’t imagine how hard it will be if he had to stay far away from them for years. That’s why he was trying to build a new A.I. that will control that treasure.

As for the name of that treasure and what it exactly would be, he hasn’t thought of that. He only knows it will be something that he can give the man that truly lives up to his expectation.

While he was drowning in his thoughts, Elder Tu asked "But wait, you said you wanted to create armor, right? So, how is this going to help you? I mean I don’t understand the use of weapon spirit except for maybe increasing your strength."

Brian smiled and said "Now, we finally come to the juicy part. The purpose of this microprocessor is to control and operate the core motherboard or what I would like to call ’GMD’ of this armor?"
