Chapter 179: 179. King Jiang

Jin looked around him. The four lackeys of Markus are already seriously injured and Markus is in no better situation.

He has no attachments towards them and when they laid their eyes on Nox, Jin even wanted to kill them immediately but then he paused because they had been searching for so long and didn’t get anything after so many days.

When Markus spoke that he had information regarding a new unvisited place, Jin achieved his purpose.

He looked at Markus with a smile and spoke,

"Oh! Then I wonder what that information is?"

Markus gritted his teeth and spoke,

"But you have to promise to let me go."

Jin’s expression turned cold. He spoke in a cold voice,

"Don’t think so highly about yourself. I know your direction and I can search on my own.

I am just stopping myself from the search trouble and if you tell me honestly and if..."

He paused for a moment before continuing with a smile,

"Then we’ll see."

Markus sighed in relief when he heard that and deep in his eyes, there was a sharp glint.

But he concealed it and spoke,

"We found a cave but it is a very strange cave. Even with my strength I didn’t dare to go inside and decided to venture into that cave later with more strength.

I can sense a strong aura in the cave. It must be coming from a guardian and if there is a guardian it means that there is definitely a treasure there."

Hearing this, Jin was surprised. He didn’t expect that this guy would reveal the treasure details in reality. But it doesn’t matter.

He looked at Markus and spoke in a sweet tone,

"Thanks for telling me. I will also fulfill my promise to you."

With that, he waved his hands and the sigil mark appeared on his forehead. Looking at the sigil mark which was pitch black, Markus trembled slightly.

But before he could respond, a black light shone from the mark and it directly passed through the four fainted individuals. In moments, all four of them disappeared.

Markus was terrified when he saw that. His eyes revealed fear and his heart was no longer calm as it appeared.

Just as Jin was about to make a move, Aion opened his eyes and came beside Jin because a faint voice sounded not far from Markus,

"Little guy, you are so cruel at such an age and it seems that you don’t see the strange creatures in your eyes at all."

Hearing this voice, Jin looked at the source and Markus’ expression turned joyful.

He looked behind him and there appeared a middle-aged man with red hairs with green ends. Markus quickly came behind the elder and spoke,

"Elder Jiang, it’s great that you arrived on time otherwise these two creatures would have killed me to silence me."

Hearing this, the middle-aged man named Jiang paused and looked around Jin and there he saw a black and white egg.

Elder jiang was surprised but then his gaze shifted to Aion and then all his thoughts came to pause.

He can sense a deep and vast and hidden aura from Aion and this is an alarm for elder jiang life.

After living for so long, he can tell just from a glance who is a life threat.

Elder Jiang sighed and spoke,

"Young friends, I hope you will give the Jade fortress some face and forgive this young man. As a compensation, I’ll leave this treasure to you both.

Jin narrowed his eyes and spoke in a cold tone,

"Since when did I need someone else to tell me that my treasure is given to me. Old man, have you lost your memories so that you are not even able to recognise what is going on here.

That thing is something that belongs to me from the very beginning, so where did you get the confidence to give that to me."

Before the argument can move any further, a crack sounded,

With that, Jin and Aion paused and looked behind them. The cracks continued to spread and from them a human with tan skin emerged.

His eyes are closed but the black hairs with tan skin and the faint gold thread like hairs are making this man extremely charming.

Jin saw this and laughed slightly. Aion narrowed his eyes because he can also sense the changes from Nox. but they are not from appearance. It is more like the comprehension and the path he chose that makes him more refined.

Seeing Nox coming out, Aion spoke bluntly,

"Little dragon, open your eyes and look from those loach eyes how king realm battle happens."

Nox’s eyes snapped open instantly and with irritation, he looked in the direction of the sound and there he saw Aion with that smirk on his face.

Before Nox could say anything, he saw the jealousy in his eyes and then he shifted his gaze to Jin.

His eyes revealed understanding and then he smiled in satisfaction. He spoke with a light chuckle,

"It seems that someone is jealous because they are inferior to me."

Aion’s expression remained unchanged as he looked at Nox. Just then, he smiled and looked at Jin before continuing,

"Indeed, and as a result, I am going to make you less handsome than me."

And then he finally shifted to elder jiang and a vast amount of energy condensed above head and then a crown’s appearance appeared on his forehead. With that an oppressive aura erupted from him.

Elder Jiang changed his expression and looked at Aion with surprise but then he also condensed his own crown and resisted the aura. He has to be serious if he wants to handle Aion.

Markus turned pale. Only now did he realize why this white-haired youth called them nothing. Because this guy was a king realm expert.

Nox came beside Jin and looked at the scene in front of him.

Aion spoke,

"Old fella, if you had never come here perhaps you might have been able to live but now you can forget about leaving."

Elder Jiang paused and then he spoke while shaking his head,

Aion sneered and didn’t waste any more breath on this middle-aged man.

He took a step forward and the next moment, he was already in front of elder jiang. He didn’t do anything shattering.

He merely looked around the elder and then spoke in a soft tone,

"Suppress laws."

Elder Jiang felt a vast suppression of him and his laws were being subdued but he didn’t want that.

His crown flared and a red green flame started to burn in his hand but his expression changed once again. He felt that his spiritual energy was being depleted at an alarming rate.

Elder Jiang was surprised but then he looked around him and exclaimed,

"Time laws."

Along with that, his face turned pale.

Seeing that Aion was handling the king realm expert with no efforts, Jin looked at Markus whose face turned deathly white. Markus never imagined that not even king realm expert would be able to save him and even the life of that expert in danger.

Just then a pleasant voice sounded in his ear,

"Let’s decide for you too."

Markus turned and looked at Jin with terror. He spoke,

"Please let me go. I am from one of the ancient families from the Jade Auction House.

If I die now, you have to face consequences."

Jin didn’t bother about his ramblings. But before he could make a move, Nox stopped him and spoke,

"Let me handle the rest."

With that he took his first step towards Marcus.

Markus looked at the tanned young man and he felt even more fearful in his heart.

Nox looked at Markus and spoke in a soft tone,

"Although I don’t know what actually happened, I trust Jin and since he wants to kill you, I don’t need any other reason."

Then he simply made some hand seals and then black a white appeared on the body of Markus.

Under his terrified eyes, Markus started to dissolve into two energy forms.

Elder Jiang also paused when he sensed the changes but before he could take any action, his heart turned cold.

He looked in the direction of the feeling and there a phantom of white snake opened his mouth and swallowed elder jiang.

After that, the snake disappeared and along with that, there was no trace of elder jiang.

Aion looked at that place with a bored expression and turned to look at Jin and Nox.

He spoke,

"Let’s leave this place. Soon, others will also be coming in this direction."

Jin and Nox nodded and then Nox made a hand seal and a huge yin-yang appeared in the area around them.

All the auras and the traces of battle were blended into nature with no tracks leaving behind.

Jin and Aion were a little surprised when they saw that. But without waiting, the trio left in the direction that Markus pointed.
