Chapter 177: 177. Nox’s comprehension

Jin looks at his surroundings. His mood was sour.

He had been wandering for more than 4 days and he encountered nothing. He dramatically sighed and looked at the person behind him.

Nox was following him with a calm and silent expression. He looked at the surroundings silently.

Jin saw this and he narrowed his eyes. Suddenly he got some impulse and spoke,

"Hey Nox, why are you not saying anything?"

Nox looked at Jin with a silent expression. After gathering his thoughts, spoke,

"I am thinking of the vast aura that is present in this realm.

There is no vitality. There is no change in Aura in this realm but there are still different rules that are present here."

Jin thought for a moment and nodded. He looked at the surroundings. He can also sense that but his path is completely different so he didn’t care about that.

But Nox was different. He looked at the surroundings and carefully observed the changes and the mysteriousness.

Before Jin could respond, Aion voice sounded in their mind,

"Indeed. The rules of this realm are different. In reality, they are moulding.

They are shifting from the origin laws of this plane to something completely new."

Hearing this, Jin and Nox were surprised. Aion didn’t explain any more than this.

Jin seems to recall something. He glanced at the silver earring on his left ear and spoke,

"Aion, how is it that we are not able to fight like a Lord realm expert?

Me and Nox can use the sigil mark and we can also use the nodes to fight."

Aion answered,

"Then what makes you different from other lords?"

Jin became silent when he heard that. What Aion said was true.

Despite taking a different route of cultivation from the traditional orthodox path of spirituality and soul, Jin and Nox were using the same way to fight.

Jin didn’t know how to answer that question.

The earring on the left is transformed and Aion appears beside Jin.

He placed his hand on Jin’s waist and his head on Jin’s right shoulder.

Jin stopped and he thought deeply of what Aion spoke.

Nox also stopped and he started reflecting on what Aion just finished but then he looked at the scene in front of him and his expression darkened.

He clenched his teeth and his determination to become strong arose.

He took a deep breath and started thinking about what Aion just said.

While he was thinking about such things, he observed his surroundings through his spiritual sense.

And he discovered something which he always missed.

All the surroundings around him were covered in nodes. But they are different from the outside of the realm.

Nox was stunned when he saw that. Unknowingly he entered in the state of enlightenment.

Jin was talking deeply but he didn’t find the feeling so he got frustrated and didn’t delve deeper into that.

Only then he noticed the fingers that were twinkling on his waist. He snorted but didn’t pull away.

He silently glanced at Nox and he was stunned from what he saw.

Aion also seemed to sense something. He locked behind him and there was surprise in his eyes.

He chuckled slightly and spoke,

"Oh! It seems that my words rang bells into someone else."

With that, he looked at Jin and smirked.

Jin also awoke from his shock and spoke with a smile on his face,

"At least, this will be better for him. The more powerful we are, the more chances we will have for future opportunities."

Aion snorted with a smile and spoke,

"Honey, there is nothing like what you are thinking. This little Dragon is simply feeling insecurity because of me.

Did you not see that he wasn’t there to come near you with my presence? It was because he didn’t have the strength to come around a king realm expert."

With a slight smile he continued,

"I am your contracted spiritual beast. And I am your husband, how could I release my pressure on you."

Jin became speechless at the petty excuse that this guy was making but ignored it and looked at Nox with a serious expression.

Nox seemed to arrive in a vast mysterious space. He looked around him and all he saw was darkness.

Suddenly, a mysterious glow started to appear around him and many strange colours started to appear around him.

Nox looked at those star lights and from then he sensed many things. He whispered to himself in the vast and mysterious space,

"Water, fire, wind, space, kill, ice, burn, gales.

So many elements and the different nodes.

It was like a broken fraction of something big."

He didn’t know what was going on but he got a feeling and then he simply followed that. Suddenly, everything around him dispersed and all that remained was a large disc with a black and white colour intertwined with them in a balanced way.

Nox looked at the disc and he was stunned. This disc was something he was very familiar with.

This disc was none other than the treasure that caused his parents to sacrifice themselves.

Nox narrowed his eyes as he observed the disc. And then he saw the many star lights once again appeared on the disc.

But unlike the previous way they appeared in front of him, this time they seemed to be in an organised pattern and everything around them felt in order.

Nox didn’t know what but he seemed to sense something and whispered to himself,

"Balance and harmony"

With that, the star lights seemed to buzz and then they started to merge with each other.

Along with that, the broken fabric like pattern in Nox’s understanding seemed to place themselves and formed something.

His eyes started to glow with a strange shine and he whispered,

"Yes, this is the path I want to take.

Why must I follow the path of Yin and Yang since it was already taken by someone.

I am going to take this path to the end."

With that, he closed his eyes and once again started comprehending.

He didn’t know how much time had passed and what this treasure was but he knew that he would be taking this path to the end.

Unknown to him or anyone else, in a vast place, there are no colours. Only a vastness of black a white.

Somewhere in that place, a giant eye opened and in that eye, the black and white were flashing.

That giant eye blinked and with each blink, the void around it compressed and this caused the ripples to spread all around that eye.

Then a faint voice appeared that caused the laws around it to echo and twist.

"What was that?

Was I mistaken just now?

Someone chose my path but still fundamentally different.

Interesting, Interesting."

With that the eye once again closed and in the vast void, no one knows what happened and how a being of such volume woke up.

It has been more than 8 days since Nox closed his eyes and on the second day, a cocoon started to form around him.

The cocoon was made of the law nodes and not just one or two. It was made up of a lot of law nodes. Some were flashing with the red, blue, white and many more.

But ultimately, the cocoon was of black and white only and there was a light shining inside the cocoon.

That light was shining more and more as time passed.

Jin looked at the cocoon and spoke,

"It has been eight days and Nox still hasn’t awoken.

Just what is happening and the nodes that surround him are like a fracture of a mirror that tried to blend but they were forcefully suppressed by the black and white.

The black must be yin and the white must be yang

It was not in a negative way but they were in harmony. A kind of harmony that is only sensed but not explained."

Aion looked at the cocoon with a deep look in his eyes. He nodded slightly and he spoke,

"Maybe this little dragon found his perfect path for the future and he decided to walk on this path till the end.

But it is strange that he was wrapped in a cocoon. He was not even five years old since he came from the cocoon and he entered another one once again."

Jin rolled his eyes since he knew that Aion was just joking with him. But he still waited patiently and looked at the cocoon.

But suddenly he frowned and looked in a different direction and something reflected in his eyes.

He spoke,

"Maybe we have a problem. It’s quite unexpected. We have been moving in this place for more than ten days and there was not a single thing that we encountered but now there is something."
