Chapter 668: Chapter 668: Held His Palm

"The doctor said he won’t wake up for now!" Noah Drexler glanced down, noticing her legs covered in blood from the bruises and abrasions. His expression immediately darkened!

Compared to checking on that old man, her injuries were obviously more important!

"But..." Summer Shawcross hesitated, but before she could finish, the man interrupted her with a slightly angry tone.

"Summer Shawcross, don’t force me to send you back to Narsus City right now!" His face was stern, exuding a commanding presence.

Didn’t she know that her wounds could easily get infected?!

His words successfully stunned Summer Shawcross, leaving her shaken...

Sending her back to Narsus City.

This was undoubtedly the most effective threat for her right now!

If he was truly heartless enough to send her away, she would have no way to stop him.

Thinking of this, Summer’s expression changed slightly. In the next second, she suddenly closed her mouth, took two steps forward to his side, lowered her gaze to the big hand she had pushed away earlier, and then reached out to hold his hand.

The man’s body tensed slightly, but his handsome face remained stoically serious.

At this moment, her obedient and gentle voice slowly resonated in his ear.

"Let’s go apply some medicine."

Hearing her soft words, Noah Drexler’s expression finally softened, becoming less harsh.

In the next second, he turned his hand to tightly hold her soft palm, then led her to apply some medicine!

...

Midnight.

The silent Drexler Family home.

Since Autumn Duval and Mr. Drexler’s accident, the Drexler Family had noticeably quieted down, a stark contrast to the bustling scene in the days leading up to the wedding.

Inside Noah Drexler’s bedroom.

After a brief, exhausted sleep, Summer Shawcross woke up with a start, having dreamed about the events from the night.

Upon waking, a thin layer of sweat covered her face.

She propped herself up and instinctively reached out beside her, only to find no trace of the man.

She paused, turning to glance out the window, finding it still pitch-dark.

It seemed she hadn’t slept for long. When she fell asleep, Noah Drexler was still by her side. He was probably busy with Drexler Family matters now.

With so much happening in the Drexler Family, he must be overwhelmed.

Summer sat in a daze for a while, then reached out to turn on the wall lamp in the room. She glanced at the clock on the nightstand, which read two in the morning. She shifted her gaze, then got up from the bed, putting on her slippers.

A wave of pain radiated from her knee. The wounds on her knees had already been treated and bandaged. It was likely due to her initial anxiety and worry during the injury that she didn’t feel the pain right away and only noticed it now.

She sighed, turned around, and was about to leave the bedroom when she looked down and remembered she was still in her camisole nightdress, so she approached the wardrobe, opening it to find it filled with men’s suits and various male clothing items.

She was taken aback for a second, then realized that this bedroom in the Drexler family house was usually only occupied by Noah Drexler, so there weren’t any clothes prepared for her.

But since she needed to go out, she couldn’t care much about it, so she simply grabbed a suit jacket and draped it over herself.
