Chapter 802: Chapter 801: I Was the One Who Hit Her

"That car accident almost claimed her life; she’s been living in a wheelchair all these years."

Ethan Grant coldly reiterated, his gaze toward Felicity Sterling grew fierce, making her increasingly uneasy. She forced a smile, "Indeed."

"However, I’ve heard her surgery was very successful, and now she’s with Mr. Grant."

"Both the Sterling Family and the Grant Family belong to her!"

Is Serena Sullivan miserable?

Felicity Sterling doesn’t think so! At least now she’s adored by everyone, unlike herself, who has ended up married to an orphan, Elliot Walsh.

As soon as she finished speaking, a surprised and aged voice suddenly reached her ears.

"Felicity!"

Felicity Sterling’s body immediately stiffened as she incredulously stared at a spot, thinking she was hallucinating.

How could it possibly be him!

Her mind was instantly in chaos. At this point, Felicity Sterling dared not linger longer, realizing that Ethan Grant had no interest in her or any good intentions in inviting her!

Ethan, who is infatuated with Serena Sullivan, invited her to dinner—what good could come of that!

She was truly naive!

"Mr. Grant!"

Felicity Sterling straightened up, saying hurriedly, "Elliot has something to discuss with me, I need to leave first."

"Felicity!"

Just as Felicity Sterling turned her body, the man’s voice became urgent. He stepped forward, looking at her with joy, "I..."

Facing Felicity Sterling’s indifferent expression, he realized he had made a mistake and quickly retreated.

"Sorry, I mistook you for someone else."

He was smart, standing aside, not daring to bother Felicity Sterling further.

If it truly was a mistake, he wouldn’t have accurately called out her name.

Seeing him being tactful, Felicity Sterling breathed a sigh of relief and quickly walked toward the door. As she pulled it open, Ethan Grant’s bodyguards blocked her path.

Felicity Sterling clenched her fists and turned her head to ask Ethan Grant at the head of the table, "Mr. Grant, what is the meaning of this?"

"Sir, what are you trying to do! I’m going to call the police!"

The middle-aged man beside her, seeing Felicity Sterling blocked by the bodyguards, exclaimed angrily. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a broken old phone.

The phone’s screen was severely cracked; he pressed a few buttons before it lit up.

"Call the police?"

Ethan Grant laughed and threw the material Mrs. Kane gave him over to her; the documents scattered, all landing near Felicity Sterling’s feet.

"Felicity Sterling, do you dare say you have nothing to do with that accident four years ago!"

The angry voice came over, and Felicity Sterling looked up at Ethan Grant’s grim expression, as if he wanted to devour her alive.

After listening to his words, she tightened her body and dared not move an inch.

"The accident!"

The middle-aged man looked at Felicity Sterling, then at Ethan Grant, suddenly realizing, "I was the one who hit her; it has nothing to do with her!"

"I was drunk at the time; that’s why I hit her!"

"I’ve already served my time."

The man eagerly explained; he was the person who hit Serena Sullivan four years ago.

After harming Serena Sullivan, his attitude of repentance and good behavior inside led to his sudden release a couple of days ago.

Today someone approached him, saying they’d take him to see someone, and he could earn a sum of money; he didn’t think much and came.

Who knew he would be meeting Felicity Sterling.

Upon hearing the man voluntarily admitted to the accident involving Serena Sullivan, Felicity Sterling came to her senses; why should she panic? She wasn’t the one who hit Serena Sullivan!

It was this driver!

What does it have to do with her!

"Ha ha!"

Thinking about it, Felicity Sterling figured it out. She looked at Ethan Grant with a smile, "Mr. Grant, you truly love Serena Sullivan."
