Chapter 190: Chapter 190) Their worries/ I will protect her!
"No way". Rita stared at Caden and Chase in disbelief, before she then stared back at me. "You are not joking about this, Alpha Anastasia?". She asked me.
"I am not joking, Mrs Rita. Do I look like someone who would joke about something as important as this?". I asked her, before I added, with my palms placed on both Caden and Chase’s shoulders, "I have come here today because I want a very well organized live news stream, where I could show the whole of my shadows’ pack about my brothers’ identities".
"I also have something else to announce. That was why I specifically came to make things clear". I concluded and did not react to the reaction she was giving me.
She was staring at me, as if, to her, she believed that I had gone crazy.
"I have told you my reason for coming, so I expect you to help me organize and set up everything. I want the live news stream to be grand. I want it to reach the whole wide world if it’s possible". I said to her, then added, with the tone of my voice shifting to something stricter and commanding, "Are you going to do it for me or not, Rita?".
She sighed. And placing her right hand on her chest as she slightly bowed her head before me, she replied, "Your wish is my command, Alpha Anastasia".

Nikolai’s pov,
After minutes of searching for my mate using her fading scent, I halted in front of a tall skyscraper building.
"This must be the place". I muttered, and just as I was about to make my way into the building, a voice stopped me in my tracks.
’You bastard! She was ready to accept my kiss, but you ruined everything for me! How dare you?!’.
’What gives you the right to do that to me?! What the hell gave you that right?! Why are you against me?!’. Nolan yelled at me and sounded frustrated. I could understand just how much he wanted to come out of the empty abyss and rip me apart, if only he could do that.
’Are you done yelling?’. I nonchalantly asked him.
’You-! Nikolai!!!!’. He screamed, but I was not bothered by it.
He should be glad that he was a part of me, and that I could not get my hands on him for trying to kiss our mate before I did.
’Shut up, Nolan’. I said with a hiss, because I was not able to concentrate on what my mate was saying.
Her face had just appeared on the billboard of the building, making me focus entirely on her.
As for Nolan? He was smart enough not to keep on complaining to me.
Although, I heard him hiss at me several times.
A smile appeared on my face as I continued to watch my mate.
My Anastasia.
"Good day, everyone. It’s your Alpha, Anastasia". She said with a smile, which was enough to melt down my heart.
At that moment, everything around me paused, before, suddenly, everyone hurried to stand close.
As I stared at them, I saw them watching my mate with complete admiration in their eyes.
Most of them held each other’s hands, while their faces looked pressured, like they were trying to control themselves from shouting.
While some others couldn’t stop whispering to themselves.
"Our Alpha... what does she have for us today?". One of the ladies said excitedly.
"It must be something important".
"Yes, you are right".
"Hey, everyone, keep your voices down. Let us listen to what our Alpha is saying". A young man said, and instantly, everyone didn’t say anything and kept quiet.
Their gazes were completely fixed on the billboard, and they looked like they were actually holding their breaths. They did not even pay a single attention to me.
Not even once.
Not that I actually cared about that. As long as they loved my mate and respected her, that was more than enough for me.
"You may be wondering why I decided to do a live news stream". My mate said, and I saw her take a deep breath, before the look in her eyes changed.
She continued to say, "Come on, twins".
Her words got the werewolves who had gathered, talking about what she meant by that.
"Twins? Who is she talking to?".
"What does our Alpha mean by that?".
"Do you know what is going on?".
"I have no clue. Well, do you?".
"No. I am so curious".
They kept on asking themselves questions, and after the twins appeared in the live news stream and stood in front of Anastasia, everyone automatically stopped talking.
Anastasia stood up from the high chair she was sitting in, and with a proud smile on her beautiful and alluring face, she put her arms around the twins’ shoulders.
Around Caden and Chase’s shoulders.
She said, "My Shadows’ pack citizens, these twins right here are my younger brothers".
"They are Alpha Ashton’s children, and children born to Luciana, your previous Luna’s twin sister".
Gasps erupted.
"No way!".
"What did I just hear our Alpha say?!".
"Wait. Did she just say that the twins are her younger brothers?!".
"So, the banished Luciana had our previous Alpha’s sons?!".
"This is unbelievable!".
The scene turned crowded, and in just a few seconds, more curious werewolves gathered and asked questions.
"I know you must be surprised, my citizens, but what I have said is nothing but the truth".
"And, yes, I know what most of you might be thinking".
"But, I want you all to know that I am more than delighted to have my brothers by my side. Because, with them by my side, they are going to assist me with running the pack if I eventually go for battle against those bastard demons!".
The faces of everyone changed after my mate, Anastasia, said that.
But, it was not only their faces that changed. Mine also changed.
The battle. That was something I did not want her to get herself involved with again. I never want to see her get hurt again.
But, she was an Alpha and was also the chosen child of the moon goddess.
I knew well not to stop her from fulfilling her destiny. Rather, I will do everything I can in my power to protect her.
Even though it is the last thing I ever do!
