Inside sat a white porcelain vial.

Marcus couldn’t help shaking his head. First it had been the Soul Vase, and now it was the White Dog Rat King’s Ancient Vase. He seemed to be running into a lot of vases lately.

Since it had been sealed away and hidden underground, it was probably worth something.

He stepped forward. The moment he came within ten meters of the vial, a flash of white light erupted.

More than twenty white rats appeared out of thin air. Two of them wore black helmets and stood at the front, making it obvious they were the leaders.

The rats quickly formed a defensive ring around the vial and stared at Marcus’s group with obvious hostility.

The two leaders were level 45 White Dog Rat Generals, ordinary monsters. The remaining twenty were level 40 White Dog Rat King’s Guards assigned to protect the treasure. Nothing threatening.

It burst into flames with a boom, and as the paper burned away, a figure gradually emerged beneath it: a giant warrior clad in yellow armor, a long spear resting in its hands.
