Chapter 1191: Grades

Lucian, Aura Nova, and Kingsley sat with calm expressions as they listened to Anthony. They couldn’t help but sigh at the Grade of Anthony’s Bloodline.

’It seems I was wrong,’ Lucian thought to himself. ’It seems a Primordial Bloodline Grade isn’t that easy to acquire,’ he mused as he finally began to recognize the difficulty behind it. After all, even his own system had given him only a Supreme Grade Bloodline, which was a Grade lower than Anthony’s.

Lucian didn’t complain that his Bloodline Grade was lower than Anthony’s. He knew Anthony was the protagonist, so expecting to match the guy was somewhat wishful thinking. Besides, if even the protagonist lacked something, then that thing was usually absurdly difficult to obtain.

"Can you tell us the difference between each Grade?" Aura Nova asked as her eyes shone. This was an opportunity to acquire more power; how could she say no to it?

Anthony nodded and then went over the details, also explaining that Lucian wasn’t able to sense his own Bloodline due to it being lower than his.

"And also, Vega possesses a Perfect Grade Bloodline, while all my subordinates possess the Supreme Grade," Anthony added in finality.

Kingsley, who had been silent all this while, finally spoke. "So that’s why no one was able to injure you during the spar. Because no matter how powerful we actually were, we could never really win," he said in a calm tone.

Kingsley was very interested in upgrading his Bloodline Grade. After all, this was one source of power that had nothing to do with any form of energy, which was rare to come by. But at the same time, Kingsley couldn’t help but feel like things were going in his favor these days.

First the Martial Rhythm, and now the Bloodline.

But as he thought about that, he shook his head. Both of them had come from Anthony and not through his own efforts. But that didn’t mean he planned to reject the power-up.

"While that statement is true, it isn’t entirely true. After all, Aaaninja isn’t of the Human race and isn’t bound by the same restriction. Yet despite his power-up after the battle with Lucian, he still lost from a single attack," Anthony stated factually, his tone flat and devoid of hubris. "And I’m sure none of you could have defeated Aaaninja at the time," he added in finality.

Lucian, Kingsley, and Aura Nova didn’t speak, but they understood the truth behind Anthony’s words. The Bloodline Grade was no excuse for why they had lost. Strength remained strength, and the gap between Anthony and themselves had not existed solely because of Bloodline suppression.

"Although I would love to be greedy and look forward to acquiring the Primordial Bloodline Grade, it seems it isn’t so easy," Aura Nova spoke.

To her, it didn’t really matter what Grade of Bloodline she obtained. Each Grade was powerful enough to boost her talent, and with her already ridiculous talent, she couldn’t help but imagine how fast her cultivation and comprehension speed would become.

"Well, it is indeed hard to acquire. Currently, only one person is known to possess the Primordial Bloodline Grade, and if my guess is correct, only one Primordial Bloodline Grade is allowed to exist at a time," Anthony explained calmly.

"Who?" Lucian asked, surprised that someone actually possessed such a Grade. Even Kingsley and Aura Nova were curious.

"Klaus, Vega’s father," Anthony answered calmly.

Lucian was stunned for a moment before shaking his head as though Klaus was indeed the only man who could possess such a Grade. After all, to quite a few readers, the man was more mysterious than ??? himself, and everyone was dying to know anything, no matter how small, about his backstory.

"Damn, then her father must be ridiculously strong. Why hasn’t he ascended yet?" Kingsley couldn’t help but ask, his golden eyes turning toward Anthony.

Anthony smiled as he replied, "He is indeed ridiculously strong. And as for ascension, he already did and came back to the Blue Planet."

Everyone was speechless yet again. They had met the man during their spar, but they didn’t know he was that kind of big shot, someone who stood on that level. The revelation left them silently reassessing everything they thought they knew about him.

"Anyway," Anthony continued, "I wanted to upgrade your Bloodlines because any one of us might end up in an Upper Galaxy with Humans who possess a high Grade Bloodline by default. And with the restrictions that higher Grades impose upon lower ones, I’m sure you know what would happen the moment you get there."

Aura Nova and Kingsley instantly frowned at Anthony’s words. Imagine possessing the ability and power to fight yet not being able to injure your opponent. That would mean they would have to be on the run every single time. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

"Meaning that in the Upper Galaxies, Primordial Bloodline Grades would be impossible to find due to Klaus already possessing it, and Perfect Grade Bloodlines would be extremely rare. Perhaps only the leaders of top Powerhouses and one of their descendants would possess them," Anthony continued. "So the Supreme Grade is the best place to start. It keeps you above almost everyone. And all three of you have to do is find opportunities to upgrade your Bloodlines to the Perfect Grade," he concluded.

Aura Nova, Lucian, and Kingsley nodded their heads. Although they didn’t know if they would land in a Galaxy where Humans possessed various higher Grade Bloodlines, as everything at the moment was merely speculation, it still didn’t ultimately matter. After all, with the upgrade in Bloodline Grade, every single parameter would experience a tremendous increase. Even their future potential would likely rise alongside it.

Lucian kept his eyes on Anthony for a moment. He knew that Anthony’s system shop functioned based on points. And if Anthony could, he would have bought everyone a Perfect Grade Bloodline. He was simply that generous.

’It seems these Bloodline Grades are too expensive even for him, which is understandable given that they’re something from the Upper Galaxies,’ he thought to himself.

And indeed, he was right. If Anthony could, he would have already upgraded himself and Vega, his parents, and even Amara to the next Grade. But alas... it wasn’t so easy. The cost was likely so astronomical that even someone like Anthony had to proceed one Grade at a time. Some treasures simply could not be acquired through desire alone, no matter how badly one wanted them.
