Chapter 1190: End Of The Meeting
"Since I’ve talked about the Ascension, if there is anything else anyone wants to talk about, they have the floor," Anthony spoke as he remained seated, his eyes moving from one person to the other.
But after a moment of silence, nobody spoke, as none of them really had anything "official" to say.
"Since there is nothing to say, I guess this is the end of the meeting," Anthony spoke.
The moment he spoke, Aaaninja rose to his feet as he spoke, "I need to meet with my family and tell them about this immediately," he stated as he tapped into his Time element and slipped through Time.
Aura Nova and Lucian didn’t move; they remained where they were.
"It was nice meeting all of you," Spectre stated as he rose to his feet. As he rose, the remaining six also stood. They nodded at Aura Nova, Lucian, and Anthony before they turned around. A portal opened before them, and they stepped through it.
Clement stood silent for a moment, his eyes turning back to Aura Nova for a moment, their eyes meeting, neither of them speaking. And with that, he stepped through his own black portal. Although he didn’t speak, his demeanor made it clear he would be back soon.
Anthony didn’t stop his subordinates from leaving. They weren’t going to immediately become friends with his own friends within the span of a few minutes. How the friendships and relationships developed beyond this point had nothing to do with him.
Lucian turned to Anthony as he spoke, "I have to say, you amaze me sometimes," his tone calm. "Who would have thought you would be hiding such powerful people as subordinates?" his eyes meeting Anthony’s.
Anthony smirked as he replied, "What can I say? They saw I was more talented and submitted to me," his tone playful.
Vega didn’t butt in; she just fed Akira, who lay on the table and ate to her heart’s content.
"Can you tell us about your battle with the Demon King and God?" Vega asked as she sat calmly.
"Yeah, that," Lucian spoke. "Why didn’t you involve us? We were stuck fighting his weaker subordinates and infinite numbers of Angels and Demons," he sighed as he spoke.
Anthony sighed as he shook his head. "If any of you had come, you would have died, as those two’s combat power is simply not something that can be scaled," his words truthful as he didn’t bother sugarcoating them.
Unless they could destroy portions of a Galaxy with their attacks, they had no hope against the Demon King and God. Aura Nova might have had some hope, but her abilities relied heavily on Mana. And given the Demon King and God’s ridiculous power, expertise, and intelligence, they would seal off her Mana before she could use her last Command.
As for Kingsley, he didn’t bother saying anything, as he didn’t care if he fought the Demon King or God personally. All that mattered at this point was his sleep training. Anything else was secondary.
Anthony could see a bit of doubt within Lucian’s eyes. After all, given his current combat ability, he believed he should be able to take on those two.
Anthony didn’t argue. He simply showed them the same illusion he had shown his parents.
"Well... I guess we can’t argue with that," Aura Nova stated as she took in the scale of destruction before her eyes.
Her eyes turned to Anthony for a moment, then she shook her head as she understood that if she fought Anthony now, she would lose. She had seen Anthony cut off the Demon King’s connection to his Chaos energy, so she understood Anthony could just do the same to her.
"Anyway, I wanted to talk about something with the three of you," Anthony stated, his eyes moving between Aura Nova, Kingsley, and Lucian.
Vega rose to her feet as she spoke, "I’m not needed in this discussion, so I will be taking a stroll with Akira." She didn’t even wait for Aura Nova to give permission before she vanished to the Blue Planet with Akira in tow in order to show her other cat-related things.
Aura Nova didn’t speak. Akira possessed Planetary-level strength due to the various magical things she ate and could teleport back on her own.
"I wanted to talk about the Human Bloodline Grades," Anthony began as he planned to help Aura Nova and Kingsley today and get it over with once and for all instead of dragging it out to another day.
Aura Nova and Kingsley expressed their reactions, while Lucian simply smirked. Anthony, noticing this, simply went on about what he knew regarding the Human Bloodline Grades.
As he concluded his explanation, he added, "And with that, I say congratulations to you, Lucian, for upgrading your Bloodline to the Supreme Grade." Anthony’s sky-blue eyes met Lucian’s as he spoke.
Aura Nova and Kingsley turned to Lucian with a bit of surprise. They had heard about how difficult and nearly impossible it was to possess anything above the Low Grade. Yet, Lucian had a grade two ranks above them.
Lucian shook his head as he spoke, "Don’t look at me like that. You are allowing Anthony to fool you," his voice calm. "Surely, if he brought up the matter of Bloodline Grades, then surely he too possesses a high grade," he stated.
Aura Nova and Kingsley’s eyes snapped back to Anthony, who simply smiled as he spoke.
Lucian was sure Anthony either had the Primordial Bloodline or the Perfect Bloodline, since Anthony was able to tell his Bloodline Grade, and he, Lucian, wasn’t even able to tell that Anthony possessed an upgraded Bloodline.
Although he was guessing Anthony had the Primordial Bloodline Grade, since Anthony was the main character, it was only natural, right?
Anthony, seeing the attention being directed back at him, simply spoke, "As Lucian had just said, I possess a Bloodline at the Perfect Grade," he stated, having no need to lie or lower the grade of his Bloodline. "And I’m here to help both you and Kingsley also obtain a higher Bloodline Grade," he added as he went straight to the point.
