Chapter 70: Elyndor Academy [6]

Some time before Roselia reached Asher and Aria,

Adam shook Noah’s arm.

Feeling his arm being shaken, Noah looked at Adam and said, "What?"

Adam then pointed his finger at Asher and Aria, who were talking to each other, and said, "What else? Let’s go away from that idiot.

Who knows what that idiot will say or do to Roselia, so let’s sit away from him. That way nothing happens to us if she loses her cool."

Noah thought for a moment and then said, "He would not really say anything that extreme, right? You are just being paranoid."

As soon as Noah said that, they both heard Asher saying, "Why should she? I am a guy, not a girl, and I am also ugly."

Then both of them imagined Asher asking Roselia if she liked girls or not.

Then they heard Roselia, who had already reached their seat, greeting Aria.

At that, both of them came out of their thoughts.

Then Noah looked at Adam and said, "Well, let’s not waste any more time and let’s go."

Adam just nodded, then both of them moved to a different seat without anyone noticing, as everyone was focused on Aria and Roselia.

Back to the present.

Asher looked at Noah and Adam, who had just come back to their previous seats.

Then he asked, "Why were you guys sitting away, and when did you even go away?"

Adam looked calmly at Asher and then said, "We just went away when Roselia reached the table. As for why we went away, we just wanted to give you guys some privacy, nothing else."

Asher looked at him with a calm expression and then replied, "What privacy? We are in a class full of people. Everyone saw and heard everything."

Then he stopped for a moment and continued, "Whatever, it does not really matter." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

Beside them, Aria heard the whole conversation between Asher and Noah but didn’t say anything.

Adam and Noah were nervous when Asher asked the question, but seeing no negative reaction from him, they both sighed in relief.

After a few minutes,

two people entered the room.

One of them was a female human, Professor Elisa, and the other person was a male elf, Aelar.

As soon as both of them entered the room,

everyone became alert and stopped talking to each other.

After everyone’s focus was on the two of them,

Aelar smiled and then said, "Hello, students of both Elyndor and Aetherium Academy. I am Aelar, and I will be teaching you in this joint class program about the importance and applications of using the mana that is present in our surroundings."

He continued, "As you all know, how we cultivate: first, we refine the mana present in nature by cleansing its will, then we infuse it with our own will and store it slowly in our mana core, increasing the rank of our mana core through years of hard cultivation."

"Some people are better at it and some are worse. It all depends on how much the will of nature rejects our will, the strength of our own will, and your focus. If your will and focus are strong, then you will be faster in cultivation than a person who has weaker focus and will."

Then he looked at the elves and said, "As some species, like elves, are closer to nature, they feel less rejected by the will of nature present in mana, so they have a somewhat faster speed in cultivation."

"I know it might sound like other species are inferior, but it is not true. Always remember, a cultivation level is just the capacity of mana you can have in your mana core; it does not decide your strength. Your strength depends on your control and mastery."

After saying this, he stopped for a moment so everyone could digest the information they had just heard.

After hearing this, the non-human students just stayed silent, but anyone could tell that they were feeling superior to the humans.

Meanwhile, the human students became sad, but after hearing the last part, they all returned to a normal mood.

After seeing that there were no questions or any problems, Aelar continued, "As for this, I will teach you the importance and applications of nature mana. The density of mana present in the surroundings is lower than the mana present in our mana core, and the mana present in our mana core is also far easier to use than nature mana because of the different wills present in them. So we use our mana to form spells and enhance our bodies, but that does not mean that the mana present in nature is useless to us in battle."

"If you train your will and focus, then you can even refine mana mid-battle. Though it would not really help you much most of the time, in certain conditions when you are low on mana, by doing this you can recover your mana mid-fight, which will give you a huge advantage. You can also use nature mana to form spells that take too much time and mana to cast."

He then stopped for a moment so that everyone could digest the information without being overwhelmed by it.

Then he continued again, "You may think it does not make that much difference in battle, but these little things can help you survive some battles. Of course, it is not easy to master this quickly, but you should still learn it. Who knows, it might save your life someday."

The classroom became silent after Aelar finished speaking.

Many students were thinking about what they had just heard.

Some were interested in the idea of recovering mana during a battle while others were thinking about how difficult it would be to refine nature mana in the middle of a fight.

After seeing that everyone had understood what he wanted to say.

He clapped his hands to get the attention of all the students.

Then he said, "That is enough for theory."
