Chapter 67: Elyndor Academy [3]
After taking his dinner, Asher found a table in a corner to sit at.
After some time, more students entered the cafeteria to have dinner.
All of them took their dinner and sat far away from Asher. Knowing his personality at the Academy, they did not want to offend him.
Then Noah also entered the cafeteria. After taking his dinner, he looked around the cafeteria, and as soon as he spotted Asher, he started walking towards him.
After reaching the table, he sat in front of Asher as usual.
Adam and Aria also joined them soon.
After all of them were together,
Noah looked at his food and said, "This food is really not as good as what we get at our Academy, and meat is also lacking. As for spice, don’t even talk about spice. I am really missing the food at our Academy."
Adam just looked at him and said in a serious tone, "Just eat it without complaining. It is not that bad. You would not want some idiot to start a food revolution here, right?"
Asher looked at Adam and said, "It is only for two weeks. Why would I waste my time on that? Besides, I already have desserts and other dishes in my subspace. I can eat them whenever I want."
Adam and Noah did not say anything and only looked at him.
Both of them thought, "That just means that you would have started it if we were going to stay here for a long time."
But neither of them said anything and just started eating their food.
Asher also did not say anything further about the food topic.
Then Asher looked at Aria and said, "Why are you so quiet today?"
Aria, who seemed to be deep in thought, came to her senses when Asher called her. She looked at him and said, "Nothing much. I was just thinking about someone I will probably meet again tomorrow."
Asher looked at her for a moment and then said, "Why are you thinking so hard then? Is it your—"
Before Asher could continue, Aria interrupted and said, "I am talking about the only Elf Princess of the Silverleaf Family, Roselia Silverleaf, the one who is known as the Child Blessed by Nature. She is said to possess the most talent in our generation and has already reached Gold 4-Star despite being the same age as us."
Asher then looked at her and asked, "So she is your friend, whom you are meeting again after a long time, and that is why you are nervous?"
Aria replied without hesitation, "She is not my friend. We have just met many times at noble gatherings, and she also used to follow me around."
Asher looked at her and then said with a smirk on his face, "Oh, so she has a crush on you."
Aria looked at him and said, "Stop joking about it. It is not that."
Then she thought to herself,
"She is just jealous of anything she does not have or if someone possesses it more than her. She is just someone who thinks that she is superior to everyone else just because she more talented than everyone else"
Asher looked at her and said, "Okay, whatever. If you don’t want to talk about it."
Meanwhile, while they were having this conversation, Noah and Adam just looked at each other.
Then Noah leaned towards Adam and whispered, "He was going to say boyfriend or crush if she had not interrupted him, right?"
Adam whispered back, "Yeah, he was about to. This guy is for sure going to stay single all his life. I can bet my life on it."
Asher looked at them and said, "What are you guys whispering about in each other’s ears?"
As soon as Asher said this.
Both of them looked at him.
Then Adam and Noah stopped whispering to each other, looked at him, and said, "Nothing."
Asher also did not ask further.
Noah then asked, "But what is this whole blessed by nature thing?"
Asher looked at him and said, "I don’t know. I don’t care."
Noah just looked at him and said, "As expected of you."
Adam then looked at Noah and explained, "As you already know, elves are naturally closer to nature and have a higher affinity for mana present in nature than humans. But even among elves, there are differences in affinity. Some have higher affinity, while others have lower affinity. And Roselia Silverleaf has the highest affinity to nature mana, so she earned the nickname ’Blessed by Nature.’"
Noah looked at him and said, "So she is the most talented of all from our generation?"
Adam said, "Yeah, she has reached Gold Rank 4-Star, so she is the most talented in cultivation out of all the noble kids and was also one of the strongest."
Then he looked at Asher and said, "Of course, if you don’t take this idiot into account. He never attended a social gathering, and most of the nobles thought that he had already died or was suffering from some incurable disease. But everyone was wrong, I guess. He seems healthier than anyone, and I am sure that if he had been cultivating properly instead of wasting his time, he would be at least at the same rank as her."
All of them looked at Asher.
But Asher did not say anything.
Noah then looked at Adam and asked, "What do you mean by talented in cultivation?"

Cultivation only increases your mana capacity and body strength, but strength mostly depends on your mastery over your element and skills."
Then she looked at Asher and said, "And you have already seen an example of it. He was lower in cultivation but still defeated them, so cultivation means nothing if you have no skills or mastery over your element."
