Scylla had started the meeting off, she knew that plenty of adventurers and guard squads were still handling the problem but the majority had been dealt with already.
"This brings us to other matters." Walker stood up and began to touch base on the progress he has been shown in the projects like flying ships, water faring ships, and even the academy building. He also referenced the progress on the angel’s race’s floating cities and how testing was progressing well but needed time and skill to achieve what they all hoped they could achieve.
"Now, some of you have had to be buffed and defended from the pressure we brought with us. I apologize for that but this is simply because of the item that Su is currently carrying with her and guarding. It will soon be placed within the fire dragon territory, Su will explain why and how we came to this point."
Walker saw that Su and Remey both stepped forward. It wasn’t what he expected but also knew that Remey might have some words to share with them as leaders.
"First of all, I came to Walker with the theory that we could create a dungeon. That the elemental planes were a place where we may find the ability to do so. We did find things that were important for dungeons and also for other aspects of Genesis."
Remey stepped forward and showed off the moss they had found and began to explain the ancient nature. She almost entirely quoted the all around appraisal form Walker while mentioning the various crafting abilities.
When she got in to the details of how strict the requirements to even attempt to use it as a material though, everyone was entirely shocked.
Simply because they didn’t know a single person who could even achieve a slim minute amount of what she had just said was necessary.
"We need to have goals as a united people. This single material left behind from being very powerful is something we can use as a base. A goal for many to chase and achieve. It will act as a challenge for herbalists, farmers, alchemists, blacksmiths, woodworkers, and even tamers. This isn’t even imagining the other variables that could come as methods of use for this sort of material."
As Su stepped back in front of Remey, everyone felt like they were more than prepared to hear more about Su’s theories.
"Creating dungeons is currently impossible. The methods needed can not be replicated with where we as a people stand now. There is no one with the skills capable. Even the dungeon seed we have is incomplete and a pure matter of luck while stumbling in the dark." The way that Su was explaining it made Walker a little down but that was the best way to ensure that no one tried anything foolish.
"It is possible if we work toward goals that lean toward a better, more developed future. We do not know so much about our world and how it works. Then on top of this we do not know much about the elemental planes still. And both are still growing. We saw evidence of this many times and the races from the elemental planes, some represented here, have seen it as well."
"We wish to begin the research in depth of the elemental planes and dungeons to gather information and to potentially foster a path to where we can create dungeons that help our people altogether. It may take a few generations. It is a longer term investment that will stand at the same length as the goals on farming for a rapidly increasing populace, as the demi-human representatives have already explained."
These long term investments are high cost in time, materials, and people for the beginning but will advance us in many ways."
"We managed to discover the compression of purer manas and the fact that some purer and denser manas can be used the same as mana crystals and may even create them. So, if we pursue that knowledge we could utilize more naturally formed mana gems rather than just mana crystals we harvest and that are slowly grown over time. We may even be able to mass produce mana crystals and work them in to gems."
Now Walker understood what Su was doing. She was refocusing the thoughts here.
Instead of all the leaders focusing on the dungeon seed, she made it seem impossible and improbable to be useful. But part of the process that Walker had done where he condensed the elemental plane that had been breaking down could be used.
They could take the focus on something like forming mana crystals that they already knew, and evolve it. They could focus on making them better and denser so that they had more naturally formed or artificial mana gems that could be used in crafting.
To do that they would need to put more effort in research toward the elemental planes where more available purer manas were present. And in doing so Su had effectively bundled these thoughts and the fact that the various researching actions, ambassador explorations, and overall explorations of the elemental planes could all be done at the same time.
Therefore, the focus on the creation of dungeons could be held back while those with the potential to do so would appear over more time naturally. It would also give those people more solidified foundations for the day that they can attempt such things.
This also spurred the idea that the leaders could push their people to develop more and keep bringing more information together to show off. To develop more that their race might claim as theirs in history.
While races were more peaceful and fighting was not happening in the same ways, they still fought in their own ways. They fought for chances to be remembered as the first race to discover this or that.
This competition was the same happening with some within the coliseum and in the magic towers. The very same is happening with crafters trying to find the next technique that beats everyone who was currently trying to do the very same thing.
All of it was coming together more and more to push Genesis and the world further.
"As all of you understand, the theory that Su started with led us to learn a lot more. We also understand how much more room we have to grow than we did before. The potential for our people, those ideas we have, double them. Then triple them. Then multiply them by ten and you will still be far from the potential we have to reach and the room we have to grow."
Walker solidified everything at the end leaving the various leaders on the council stuck sending notes out with their attendants. They all wanted to push and take advantage of what they could do. Remey even handed the moss that they harvested to an herbalist who realized that the plant in her hands was dormant and no one would be able to bring it to activity that she knew.
Everything was a hustle and bustle of trying to get an advantage. The three had just spurred that desire and instinct all the more than before. However, as many of the leaders began to leave, Gil, Alma, Midnight, Scylla, Alice, Onyx, Ignus, and a few of the other more prominent figures from the founding of Genesis remained. They understood they were able to learn more.
"Ignus will bring this dungeon seed and leave it where it will get constant fire mana. When it opens we will have a space created by us that can be used to train others in fire resistance. We will also try to alter the dungeon itself. But we will keep this experimentation closed. The information will be published as research happens on naturally formed dungeons."
Su spoke but also saw that those around her expected more.
"We also need to tell you, we saw a being that travels between the existences in the chaos. It was larger and left behind pieces we harvested. The appraisal also said that it traveled through chaos to other places. Maybe other elemental planes and worlds. So from here on, we as leaders will have a goal beyond our own lives."
Walker knew that they all understood and he did not push. He just let them all understand that the level of potential that the people had would need to keep being used to grow beyond what they could even currently theorize or fathom.
