Chapter 159: Chapter 108: Carve a Bloody Path

"Who are you people? What do you think you’re doing, surrounding the gate of our Martial Arts Hall?!" Luo Kun demanded with a frown from Shao Jianbo’s back.

The lead Martial Artist stepped forward, unfolded a piece of paper, and announced:

"Elder Luo. We are from the Piracy Eradication Alliance. Someone has reported that you are colluding with Horse Bandits. We need to investigate. Come with us!"

"Colluding with Horse Bandits? This is a blatant frame-up!" Luo Kun roared.

"Apologies, but whether it’s a frame-up or not, that will be made clear once you come with us. Or are you saying you want to oppose the Piracy Eradication Alliance?"

The lead Martial Artist bellowed.

This man’s Qi Blood was abundant. He was a Martial Artist at the Peak of the Iron Skin Realm.

The other Martial Artists also drew their blades, loosely forming a military-style battle formation.

Most of these Martial Artists were in the Iron Skin Realm. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, carrying the grim, killing air of trained soldiers.

Luo Kun grew anxious. "Che’er, Jianbo, Ling’er, don’t worry about me! Just run!"

’These men are clearly Martial Artists with military training,’ Luo Kun thought. ’Individually, they aren’t exceptionally strong, but together, they could wear down and kill even a Force Integration Artist!’

’Although Jiang Che and Shao Jianbo are both formidable, they’re ultimately still in the Iron Skin Realm, not yet at Force Integration.’

’Against these men, they have no chance of victory!’

He struggled to get down from Shao Jianbo’s back, but he couldn’t even lift his arms.

Shao Jianbo’s brows furrowed. He knew escaping this situation would be nearly impossible.

He moved closer to Jiang Che and whispered, "Junior Brother, you carry Master. I’ll create an opening in a moment. Take Master and run!"

But Jiang Che didn’t take Luo Kun onto his back. Instead, he walked forward alone.

"Junior Brother? What are you doing?!" Shao Jianbo asked, his voice a mix of shock and confusion.

’Does he plan to create the opening himself so I can escape with Master?’

"Che’er, come back! Don’t be reckless!" Luo Kun called out anxiously.

"It’s fine, Master. I’m just going to reason with them," Jiang Che said, turning his head back with a smile.

’Reason with them?’ ’These people are obviously here to cause trouble. What kind of reasoning would they possibly listen to?’

The leader laughed. "Go on then, kid. Let’s see what kind of ’reasoning’ you have for me."

Jiang Che walked straight toward him. "Alright, I’ll explain it to you..."

"What are you doing? Halt! Just say what you have to say from there!" the leader snapped with a frown.

"I can’t. They’re not supposed to hear this particular line of reasoning. I have to tell you up close."

Jiang Che continued to walk straight forward.

"You’re courting death!"

Realizing something was off about Jiang Che, the leader immediately slashed his blade at him.

The blade hacked down toward Jiang Che’s shoulder, but he didn’t even try to dodge, continuing to walk straight forward!

"Junior Brother?!" Shao Jianbo cried out in panic, instantly circulating his Qi Blood to try and save Jiang Che.

Luo Kun and Jiang Ling were frantic, but there was nothing they could do except watch helplessly as the scene unfolded before them.

CLANG—

But when the blade struck Jiang Che’s shoulder, it produced the sound of metal on metal!

Not only did the blade fail to cut into Jiang Che’s body, it was actually repelled!

"Huh?"

The lead Martial Artist was stunned. ’What kind of armor is this kid wearing under his clothes? How is it so hard?’

But before he could give it another thought, he felt a terrifyingly immense force strike his chest!

Then, his entire body was sent flying like a rag doll!

He flew more than ten meters before slamming into the opposite courtyard wall and collapsing to the ground.

He lay sprawled on the ground, motionless, all signs of life gone.

Shao Jianbo froze mid-motion, unable to believe what he had just witnessed.

’Even a Force Integration Artist might not be able to pull that off, right?’

Jiang Ling’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Now that she was studying Martial Arts and had gained some worldly knowledge, she understood exactly what it meant to kill a Martial Artist at the Peak of the Iron Skin Realm in a single move!

Luo Kun was also stunned. Jiang Che was a great deal stronger than when they had sparred!

’Could this be the Innate Iron Body?!’

The other Martial Artists were momentarily stunned but quickly recovered, swiftly forming their battle array and charging forward with their blades.

But Jiang Che’s figure flickered like a phantom and vanished in an instant.

The Martial Artists scrambled to find Jiang Che. Suddenly, one of them saw a blur, and a moment later his chest felt like it had been smashed by a battering ram, and he was sent flying.

Before the others could even react, they were sent flying, one after another.

Soon, all the Martial Artists were sprawled on the ground, their conditions unknown.

Jiang Che stood there, completely unscathed, as if he had just been taking out the trash. His breathing hadn’t even hitched.

"I’ve finished reasoning with them. Master, let’s go." With that, Jiang Che strode forward.

The other three were stunned.

’That’s how you reason with people?’

Seeing Jiang Che walk off, the three of them hurried to catch up.

The group made their way to the city gate, only to find it closed and barred by another group of Martial Artists in the black uniforms of the Piracy Eradication Alliance.

Furthermore, many disciples from other Martial Arts Halls had gathered before the gate, apparently also trying to leave, but they had been stopped.

"The Horse Bandits have been dealt with! Why are the city gates still sealed?" someone in the crowd shouted.

"We have orders from above! Someone from your Martial Arts Halls has colluded with the Horse Bandits! The gates will not open for a single day until the spy is found!"

"That’s a blatant lie! I say the Piracy Eradication Alliance is just looking for an excuse to crush those who oppose you!" a burly man roared.

"You dare question the Piracy Eradication Alliance? Seize him!" Several of the guarding Martial Artists immediately surrounded the man.

The man instantly unleashed a Fist Technique and began to fight the guards, but he was subdued in just a few moves.

"All of you, disperse at once! Cause any more trouble, and don’t blame me for arresting every last one of you!" the leader of the gate guards bellowed.

This man was around forty years old, with a square jaw and a body rippling with knotted muscles. His Qi Blood was exceptionally powerful, almost at the very apex of the Iron Skin Realm.
