Chapter 162: Chapter 165: Twin Beauties

In the center seat and close to the entrance seat of the van, there were two girls who looked completely identical at first glance.

Both had soft orange hair one is short and one is long, both have large silver-blue eyes that shimmered under the light, delicate features and fair skin.

Even though they are very identical you can see the difference between the two.

The girl sitting closer to the center wore a pale blue dress with a white collar, her lips slightly parted and her shoulders drawn in, giving off a shy and timid aura.

Meanwhile, the girl near the entrance which is in front of Jeff who was still standing at the entrance of the Van.

Wearing a sleek black outfit paired with a red plaid tie, her posture was straight and confident.

A bright lively smile rested on her face, the moment he saw her and her sparkling eyes carried the energy of someone extremely extroverted, clearly just with this you can spot which is her and her.

Even though they shared the same face, hair, and eye color, their presence felt like complete opposites.

One seemed like a quiet breeze that barely made a sound, while the other radiated warmth and boldness that could fill the entire van with her presence.

The two who were waiting for the driver to leave glanced at the door. Their seats were the closest to the entrance, which made it easy to enter and exit.

When they saw a handsome young man who looked about the same age as them, both of them froze.

He looked like a Korean or maybe a Chinese model. Since they were in the Philippines, people with those kinds of features were often assumed to be Korean or Chinese.

"Uhh, can I pass?" Jeff asked, since his seat was close to the window.

When the girl with long hair was asked by him, she nodded with a red face because she had been staring at him for too long.

Jeff on the other hand, felt a headache just thinking about it. Why did the system make him even more handsome?

Now it looked like he had already charmed this girl. When he thought about it, he could not help but snicker at himself for being such a masochist.

"Uhh... sure," she said.

Then the long-haired girl turned to her twin and tapped her shoulder so she would lean back. She pointed at the bag that Jeff had left earlier before he went to the cafe.

The short-haired girl nodded and leaned back, and when there was finally enough space, Jeff walked through the gap.

As he passed by them his scent spread around the two girls.

It smelled very good and strong, that was because the perfume he sprayed was a gift from his mother.

It was expensive, and he normally did not use it when going to school or other places because it was a luxury item.

One bottle of it cost around 3,000 pesos.

After finally reaching his seat, the driver arrived and started collecting the payments one by one.

After Jeff handed his payment, the van finally started moving.

He took out his phone and saw that it would take a long time before he arrived at his destination.

First, he adjusted his position because his shoulder was touching the girl’s shoulder beside him, so he moved a little to the other side.

This was his habit whenever he rode public transportation, especially when the person beside him was a stranger, and even more if it was a girl.

He always tried to give some space because he thought it might make both of them uncomfortable.

After moving to the very side of the seat and placing both of his hands on his lap, he looked down and slowly closed his eyes.

[Entering White Room] - the system voiced out.

Since he did not enter the white room last night because he wanted to take a break, now was a good time for him to return.

When he arrived, he saw Instructor Jakol standing there. His aura felt even stronger than before.

This time, Jeff had a smile on his face. After dying more than a hundred times, his resilience had grown, and his fear of death had greatly lessened.

What replaced that fear was a strong fighting spirit burning in his eyes. After taking a fighting stance, he rushed forward and his speed made a whistling sound in the air.

The two of them exchanged blows. Jeff raised his palm and brushed aside a punch that carried a lot of raw power.

After pushing the punch to the side, he quickly ducked and swept his leg, trying to make Jakol fall. But when his leg hit Jakol’s feet, Jakol did not move at all.

Seeing that it did not work, his eyes widened. He quickly raised both of his hands to block as Jakol’s other leg flew toward him at lightning speed.

His bones seemed to creak from the huge force. That casual strike was not something someone like him could easily handle.

Luckily, they did not break because he used kinetic energy to spread some of the force through his whole body, though it still made him ache in pain.

If he had not done that, his arms would have broken and he would have been useless in the fight.

"Pwehh~" he spat a small amount of blood as his eyes narrowed seriously.

Then Jakol did not give him any time as it pounced on him in blinding speed, making Jeff in a defensive side.

But even thought he was blocking nor reflecting those blows for less damaged.

The force and kinetic energy were too much for him to handle. In the end, his right arm gave in and snapped.

Jakol then swept his leg and struck Jeff’s neck, breaking it and ending his life. His vision blurred, and the next moment he returned to the same spot as the white room restored his body.

He counted the time and realized he had survived for about 27 seconds, which was a huge improvement.

At the very beginning, he died almost every second without putting up much of a fight.

But after learning Jakol’s strength and understanding how to use every small chance to survive, he started to improve.

On the second day, he managed to last 5 seconds. The next day it became 10 seconds, and now he had reached 27 seconds.

The only thing he needed to do now was survive for 30 seconds. Standing up once again inside the endless white room, facing Instructor Jakol.

The moment Jakol moved like lightning, Jeff reacted immediately if he wanted to survive even a single second.

Dodging backwards, Jakol closed the distance instantly. A brutal punch slammed into Jeff’s chest, cracking several ribs before a knee strike shattered his jaw and ended the fight.

The room reset again, restoring Jeff’s body completely as if nothing had happened.

Looking for ways to last longer, Jeff focused on reading Jakol’s movements instead of blindly defending himself against attacks.

During the next round, Jeff lasted almost a full minute by stepping aside and blocking carefully.

But Jakol suddenly changed rhythm, grabbing his arm, and twisted it violently before snapping his neck like a twig.

Another reset came as the system restored the room and his injuries.

Jeff’s expression was calm, if it were in the past he would have been mad, afraid, or in a haste. But now dying so many times made his brain function in its full capablity to survive.

Slowly learning the timing behind Jakol’s attacks and trying to move before each strike could land.

In the next battle he attempted to run in circles to gain distance from Jakol.

However, Jakol appeared behind him in a blur and crushed his spine with a devastating kick that ended the match instantly.

Time passed as countless fights repeated again and again inside the white room. Jeff died in many ways, sometimes thrown into the ground so hard his skull cracked open.

Other times Jakol crushed his throat with a chokehold that snapped his windpipe instantly.

Yet despite the brutal deaths, Jeff’s survival time slowly continued increasing with every battle.

Soon Jeff began surviving several minutes against the terrifying instructor. His body reacted faster now, dodging attacks that once killed him in seconds before.

An hour passed in one long battle as sweat poured down Jeff’s face. But a sudden spinning elbow from Jakol shattered his ribs and ended the round brutally.

Jeff refused to give up even as exhaustion built inside his mind. Each reset pushed him further, forcing him to adapt and sharpen his instincts under constant pressure.

Finally during one intense fight, Jeff managed to survive nearly thirty seconds of relentless attacks.

"Finally, another record," he said with excitement in his mind.

While he was celebrating Jakol suddenly appeared in front of him without warning. A single precise palm strike pierced his chest, stopping his heart instantly and ending the battle once again.

Finally achieving his goal, Jeff continued wondering if he can raise the time of survival but as more time passes finally it was the end and the time in White Room finally ended.

Jeff opened his eyes and smiled, feeling refreshed as he thought about the battle he had just gone through.

He quietly reviewed every move in his mind, trying to understand what he could improve next time.

But suddenly, he felt something soft pressing against his shoulder, making his eyes widened in shock.
