Chapter 2398: Chapter 2397: A Realistic Request
The filming was nearing its end, with only two scenes left. This part described Zheng Huayu crazily taking revenge on the robot, but the robot had superpowers, so Zheng Huayu couldn’t do anything to it for the moment.
Later, he thought of the only way, which was to deceive the heroine to come to the appointment, and he planted a bomb in the building, intending to blast the robot to smithereens.
The bomb exploded but failed to hit the robot, causing the building to collapse. The robot, in order to protect the heroine, pushed her out.
Actually, the robot could have escaped with the heroine and didn’t need to die.
But Zheng Huayu was also trapped in the building, about to die. The robot finally let go of the heroine and turned back to save Zheng Huayu.
After rescuing Zheng Huayu, the collapse of the building became more violent. Zheng Huayu pulled the heroine to escape, but a large stone fell and was about to hit the heroine.
The robot unhesitatingly stepped forward to push the heroine away, then got hit by the huge stone, which smashed it hard from the chest down.
The heroine immediately collapsed and cried, but the robot told her to leave and not to worry about him.
The heroine refused to leave. The robot begged Zheng Huayu to take her away, Zheng Huayu also cried and desperately pulled her away.
As they were leaving, another small stone fell and hit the heroine’s leg, injuring her so she couldn’t escape.
At this point, the robot snapped its line trapped under the stone and crawled step by step towards the heroine, using all its remaining strength to lift the stone, allowing Zheng Huayu to take the heroine to safety.
Having escaped, the heroine watched the robot slowly being buried under the pile of rubble, but it continued to wear a smile on its face. The heroine even saw a tear fall from the corner of its eye.
The robot died, leaving only one arm reaching out towards the heroine.
The heroine eventually picked up the robot’s arm and left Zheng Huayu. With that arm and her love for the robot, she traveled the world to find solace.
The scientist also entered a phase of self-reflection, with many inner monologues, replacing the film’s doubt about love.
Later, at a corner on the street, the heroine met Alvin, a man who looked exactly like the robot.
The heroine was amazed, approached him with tears streaming down her face, touched his face, and asked, "Sir, have we met before?"
Alvin looked at this beautiful girl with a tear-streaked face, finally smiled, and replied, "Perhaps, we have met."
These were the two remaining scenes, leaving Alvin, Nangong Lin, and Zheng Huayu in tears as they watched.
But actually, Nangong Lin was a bit worried and couldn’t help but ask Zheng Huayu, "Xiaoyu, playing the big villain scientist, aren’t you afraid of losing fans?"
"I just want to challenge myself and portray different roles," Zheng Huayu laughed and spoke earnestly about his performance.
"The scientist role has very complex human nature, from madness and distortion to later reflection; I think it’s a challenge."
Nangong Lin nodded, and frankly, the most challenging role here was the scientist’s, truly testing acting skills to the extreme.
Any actor dedicated to their craft would want to challenge such a role. Even though she was a woman, if she were a man, she would also want to play that part.
After the actors thoroughly read the script, filming began.
For Alvin, acting was his first venture, so his skills certainly couldn’t compare to Nangong Lin and Zheng Huayu. Previously, he had only performed love scenes with Nangong Lin, which was like natural acting for him.
The final scene didn’t pose much of an acting challenge, so Alvin put forward a request, which was to be realistic.
Nangong Lin was surprised and hurriedly asked, "Realistic? This scene involves many tense shots, and being realistic might lead to injury!"
