Steven Cooper looked tenderly at Nicole as she selected gifts for Ryan Seys and Iris Seys, observing the gentleness in her eyes, a slight smile spreading across his lips.
When Nicole was buying handicrafts, Steven Cooper quietly bought a purple flower wreath from nearby. Tiny purple flowers adorned the wreath woven from floral vines, and it looked beautiful.
Just as Nicole was about to pay, Steven Cooper’s hand swiftly covered the cost of the gifts for Ryan Seys and Iris Seys.
Nicole turned around, just about to express her gratitude, when Steven Cooper reached out and placed the purple wreath on Nicole’s head.

A gentle breeze blew past, making Nicole’s chestnut hair dance and wrap around her cheeks. As she was about to reach to brush the hair behind her, Steven Cooper’s slender fingers moved ahead, gently tucking her hair back, the motion and expression both as tender as water.
"Miss, you look beautiful with the wreath! Your boyfriend is so gentle and considerate, you’re a lucky lady." The flower wreath-selling aunt watched the two with a smile.
Like a pair of heavenly match, exceptionally well-suited and striking.
Starry light appeared in Steven Cooper’s eyes. The aunt’s words spoke to the very joy within his heart.
Nicole slightly lowered her gaze, feeling a bit shy, when a voice sounding with unusual delight came from behind.
"Doctor miss, it’s you!"
Nicole and Steven Cooper both turned to look behind, unexpectedly seeing the aunt whom Nicole had saved from a heart attack on the street three days ago.
Only now, standing behind her was the person Nicole least wanted to see.

"Doctor miss, thank you for rescuing me three days ago during my heart attack! The doctor said if not for the timely and correct intervention, my life might have been at risk. I’m truly grateful." The woman spoke, excitedly describing to the familiar man behind Nicole, "Jose, this is the kind doctor miss I’ve told you about. During my heart attack, it was thanks to her intervention that saved me! I never knew I’d meet the girl who saved me today."
Jose—this name, clearly indicates familiarity between the woman and Jose Floyd!
Nicole felt somewhat complex inside.
Jose Floyd cast a cold glance at Nicole, seeing the wreath on her head, his gaze turning icy as frost.
