A young girl squats beside a middle-aged woman on the ground, worry and panic visible on her face as she shakes the woman.
Nicole, who studied medicine, can tell at a glance that the woman is having a severe heart attack.
Nicole immediately squats down, checks the woman’s condition, and says to the anxious young girl beside her, "Don’t shake her! This aunt is having a heart attack. I studied medicine. If you trust me, let me try, okay?"
The young girl looks at Nicole with doubt in her eyes, but she stops shaking the woman.
The middle-aged woman on the ground seems to grab Nicole’s hand as if it’s a lifeline, clutching her chest, and her gaze pleads for help when she looks at Nicole.
Nicole squats beside the middle-aged woman and quickly speaks to Steven Cooper standing behind her, "Brother Cooper, help me get some medicine, nitroglycerin." As Nicole finishes speaking, she quickly unbuttons the woman’s clothes in front of her, "Everyone move away, don’t crowd around her. She needs fresh air now!"
"Okay." Steven Cooper turns and walks toward a pharmacy by the roadside.
The crowd immediately disperses. Nicole lays the woman flat on the ground and speaks in a low voice, "Aunt, take deep breaths now. Don’t panic. It’s okay, I studied medicine. Trust me, you’ll be fine. Don’t worry."
The woman nods lightly and follows Nicole’s instructions.
Nicole looks at the woman on the ground and feels a faint sense of familiarity, as if she’s seen her somewhere before.
Steven Cooper comes back with the medicine. The woman’s face is very pale, and Nicole takes the medicine, pries open the woman’s jaw, and puts the medicine under her tongue.
"Aunt, hold it in your mouth, don’t swallow!" Just as Nicole finishes speaking, the sound of an ambulance approaches.
The young girl looks delighted, "The ambulance is here! Aunt, you’ll be okay!"
The ambulance stops by the roadside, and medical personnel immediately get out to lift the woman onto the vehicle.
Nicole watches the ambulance leave and breathes a sigh of relief; this aunt should be fine now.
Beside her, Steven Cooper’s gaze becomes softer than ever as he looks at Nicole, "Nicole, I didn’t know you really studied medicine. Being a doctor is great."
