Chapter 2965: Chapter 2965

Ye Liuyun issued the order for the Demon-Slaying Corps to break through the encirclement.

However, he forbade them from using firepower vehicles, lest they reveal their full strength prematurely and alert the enemy. He also instructed them not to engage in prolonged battles—their only task was to clear a path.

Tang Xinyao was quick-witted and immediately realized this was an opportunity to train the troops. Given the speed and stealth capabilities of the Spirit Cat battleships, they could slip past the enemy lines unnoticed.

Without hesitation, Tang Xinyao deployed three Spirit Cat battleships to lead the charge, clearing the way for Ye Liuyun and the others. Any scattered enemy patrols they encountered along the way were swiftly obliterated by the battleships.

At first, everything went smoothly. But just as they were about to break through the enemy’s defensive line, they were intercepted by an army of fifty thousand alien warriors.

The enemy forces, though not particularly strong, had already formed ranks in the void, waiting for their arrival.

Tang Xinyao saw this as the perfect training opportunity. She ordered the Demon-Slaying Corps to engage, with the Spirit Cat battleships providing cover from the rear, while she led the charge.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun turned to Fuyang and instructed, "Take a team to monitor the altar on the alien planet. Make sure they don’t summon reinforcements. While you’re there, scout their military strength—see if we can take the planet outright."

Fuyang immediately gathered a few stealth-specialized warriors and set off to infiltrate the enemy planet.

Back on the battlefield, Tang Xinyao’s corps unleashed a combined attack, obliterating a massive swath of the enemy forces in a single strike.

"The power of the Radiant Buddha’s Light is truly formidable!" The other commanders couldn’t help but marvel at the devastating effect.

Yet they also voiced concerns—if the Demon-Slaying Corps continued fighting like this, they would soon draw more enemy reinforcements, risking encirclement.

Ye Liuyun merely chuckled. "No matter. Let them gain some experience. If the opportunity arises, we might even tear a hole in the enemy’s defenses and launch a full-scale assault."

The other commanders agreed. They had already reached the outermost line of the alien defenses—there was no reason not to strike now.

Ye Liuyun immediately ordered all the demonic beasts and women under his command to prepare for battle. The current strength of the alien invaders was not particularly high, making it the perfect opportunity for them to hone their skills. Once the aliens grew stronger in the future, he wouldn’t dare let them take such risks again.

Ye Tiandao, having undergone accelerated training and tempering in the clone’s spatial world, emerged with her cultivation already advanced to the first level of the Unity Realm. Ye Liuyun was startled and quickly scanned her true essence with his golden pupils. Only after confirming its stability did he relax slightly. He reminded her to continue refining her skills before sending her back to the Vanguard Corps to prepare for battle.

The Dragon Maiden, Thunder Roar, and the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon had also returned from the Dragon Clan. The Dragon Maiden’s progress was even more astonishing—she had reached the second level of the Unity Realm. Meanwhile, Thunder Roar and the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon had both advanced to the late stage of the first level. Ye Liuyun inspected each of them carefully, ensuring their foundations were solid before finally putting his mind at ease.

The White Tiger, Stone Ape, three Black Tortoises, Vermilion Bird, and Demon Lion had all broken through to the first level of the Unity Realm as well. The Tiger-Headed Beast King, having devoured a vast number of ancient demon corpses during this time, had also pushed his cultivation to the first level.

Among Ye Liuyun’s demonic beasts, only Little Blue Ice and Qiong Qi remained at the ninth level of the Dominator Realm. However, Little Blue Ice was on the verge of a breakthrough.

Liang Xue and Feng Hongxiu were also close to reaching the eighth level of the Dominator Realm. The group led by Wu Qingcheng had advanced to the seventh level, while A Xing and the others, who had started at lower cultivation levels, had trained even harder and progressed faster—now reaching the sixth level.

Seeing most of his people make significant strides in their cultivation, Ye Liuyun was delighted, especially for the demonic beasts. Their bloodline powers must have fully awakened, allowing them to advance even faster as time went on.

Thus, he decided that Xuanyuan Ling should prepare more bloodline-enhancing resources for the women, ensuring their future progress would be just as swift.

With the demonic beasts and women fully prepared for battle, Ye Liuyun’s two clones donned their invisibility cloaks and ventured into the starry void to scout the situation.

On the opposing side, the alien forces had been shaken by the golden light attack. They could sense that this energy was their natural bane. The alien commander immediately sent out distress signals and reported the situation to their Elder Council.

These alien troops were already familiar with Ye Liuyun’s Spirit Cat warships and had been on guard against their return. The moment they spotted the vessels, they realized they were facing Ye Liuyun’s army.

Without delay, the aliens mobilized all nearby forces, intending to test the strength of Ye Liuyun’s troops and prepare accordingly.

Ye Liuyun instructed Yu Xiaofeng to alert the army and ready them for battle. For this first engagement, he had no intention of revealing their full strength—lest the aliens adapt their strategies.

After a brief glance at the ongoing battle ahead, he was certain Tang Xinyao’s side would emerge victorious. Thus, he shifted his focus elsewhere, deploying the women to engage the aliens and assist Tang Xinyao in swiftly eliminating the enemy.

Soon after, Fuyang sent word—they had detected alien reinforcements teleporting onto a nearby planet, but the defensive forces there were sparse. It was a prime target for attack.

Both avatars had noticed that the surrounding alien planets had already begun mobilizing their forces.

Ye Liuyun immediately relayed this information to Yu Xiaofeng, instructing him to devise a battle plan.

In the end, Yu Xiaofeng formulated a strategy to capture five nearby planets. Though conservative, this plan didn’t require deploying the elite Blade Corps, thereby avoiding the exposure of too much of their strength.

Ye Liuyun had no objections, only urging him to execute the plan swiftly once finalized, lest the aliens send even stronger reinforcements.

Without delay, Yu Xiaofeng left the warship and summoned five commanders—Qin Peng, Yuan Hao, Tie Jun, Man Feng, and Pei Yong—ordering them to immediately set out for the five target planets aboard the Spirit Cat warships.

Yu Xiaofeng himself remained on standby with a personal guard unit, ready to reinforce them at any moment.

Each of these six commanders led an army of 100,000 soldiers, making them perfectly suited for the assault on five planets while still keeping one unit in reserve for flexibility.

Seeing that Tie Jun was now capable of independently commanding an entire army, Ye Liuyun couldn’t help but feel pleased for him. He knew Tie Jun must have put in tremendous effort to catch up in cultivation. Though his current realm was only at the sixth level of the Dominator stage—starting from a much lower foundation—reaching this point was already a remarkable achievement.

Moreover, Yu Xiaofeng and Qin Peng had undoubtedly given him considerable support. But this only proved Tie Jun had the potential—otherwise, they wouldn’t have bothered mentoring him in the first place.

As for Xiao Yunfang and Meng Qingyin, both now his women, Ye Liuyun had no intention of sending them back into the dangers of the battlefield. Instead, he swapped their roles with Pei Yong, assigning the latter to the frontlines while having the two women assist in troop recruitment and training, joining the other female warriors in honing their combat skills during peacetime.
