Chapter 2961: Chapter 2961

The disciples of the Tang family were all very enthusiastic. Going out to battle was far better than idling within the clan, and they were eager to see for themselves what the so-called "inhuman" alien races, as described by the elders, truly looked like.

Tang Xinyao and Tang Hao immediately began preparations for the campaign upon their return. Tang Qianyu, however, took a few days to sort through her thoughts and emotions before she could fully process the situation.

Yet, she hesitated. The idea of leaving home for such a distant war—one that might keep her away for years—weighed heavily on her. Seeing her reluctance, Tang Xinyao advised her to stay.

"Not everyone needs to go out for training. Staying with the family is just as meaningful. Someone has to hold the fort here, right?"

Tang Qianyu found the reasoning sound and decided to remain.

In the end, the Tang family assembled over five hundred disciples, led by Tang Xinyao and Tang Hao, to rendezvous with Ye Liuyun. Given how far the alien races were from their galaxy, many disciples were reluctant to travel such a distance.

Tang Fengkuan also brought along the three sources of Buddha Light energy he had promised Ye Liuyun. Though he now knew Ye Liuyun was not a Tang disciple, he still hoped the young man’s strength would grow—absorbing some of that Buddha Light might prove useful against the alien races.

Ye Liuyun formed an equal contract with Tang Xinyao and Tang Hao before storing them in his second avatar’s spatial world. He designated a separate planet as their military base.

He then handed over the captive martial artists and disciples from the three enemy families to them, organizing them into a Demon-Suppression Corps. Tang Xinyao was appointed as the commander, Tang Hao as the deputy commander, and all members were bound by a loyalty contract.

Ye Tianyao also arrived with all the captives to train alongside the Demon-Suppression Corps. Once the training was nearly complete, they were sent directly to engage the demonic races in combat.

Li Xinran joined the training this time as well. Ye Liuyun provided her with a generous amount of golden light crystals to help her cultivate Buddha Light energy.

As for the three sources of Buddha Light energy, Ye Liuyun absorbed and converted them into Xuan Yuan energy while simultaneously enhancing his own Buddha Light power.

Ye Liuyun gave Qin Mengxi ample time to bid farewell to her family before teleporting via the Black Tower to the Lingyun Dynasty in the Taurus Galaxy to meet up with Xuanyuan Ling.

Meanwhile, the Demon-Suppression Corps was swiftly deployed under Ye Tianyao’s command to engage in real combat against bandits. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

As for Ye Liuyun, he divided his time between accompanying his women and cultivating within the Ancient Desolate Secret Realm. He also supplied the realm with additional energy orbs to bolster its foundational power.

The demonic beasts and the women were all diligently cultivating in their respective suitable environments, striving to enhance their strength. They aimed to reach the Unity Realm’s first level before the next battle against the alien races.

For those demonic beasts who wished to venture out to gather resources, Ye Liuyun allowed them to roam freely within his spatial world, forming teams voluntarily to temper themselves. Given their current realms, they were invincible within this space, so Ye Liuyun had no concerns.

The Dragon Maiden, Thunderclap, and the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon returned to the Dragon Clan once more to undergo further training and advancement. Ye Liuyun did not accompany them, unwilling to let the Dragon Clan’s elders expend their energy to cultivate him.

Meanwhile, Xuan Yuanling had already nurtured enough subordinates and decided to stay within Ye Liuyun’s spatial world from then on, remotely managing affairs. She no longer wished to be separated from him. Thus, Ye Liuyun accompanied her on a tour, inspecting the operations of various merchant guilds and returning to the alliance to check on its progress.

The alliance in the Silver Fox Star System had grown significantly stronger. Having gained access to more external worlds and resources, its members now had clear cultivation goals and trained with even greater fervor.

By the time Ye Liuyun arrived in the Twin Dynasties Star System, Liu Yunyao had already completed the handover.

"Being a queen has utterly exhausted me! I’m never taking charge again!" she complained the moment she saw Ye Liuyun.

He laughed. "Now you know how tiring it is! It’s fine if you don’t want to manage things anymore. Just focus on improving your realm with me—your current level is indeed too low."

Ye Liuyun promptly brought Liu Yunyao into his spatial world. Having cultivated up to now, she had only reached the first level of the Dominator Realm, lagging far behind the other women.

Finally, Xuan Yuanling and Ye Liuyun returned to the Bison Star System, awaiting the army’s return.

Xiao Yunfang and Meng Qingyin were sent back ahead of time. Under the arrangements of Liang Xue and Wu Qingcheng, Ye Liuyun fulfilled their wishes.

Meanwhile, he and his doppelganger trained daily in the Ancient Desolate Secret Realm, refining their Profound Essence to enhance its quality. Thanks to this secret realm, the density of his Profound Essence had improved significantly, growing increasingly condensed.

After absorbing the three sources of power imbued with Buddhist Light, the quantity of his Profound Essence had also expanded tremendously. He estimated that with a bit more cultivation, his realm would soon break through.

This surprised him—despite taking time to relax, his cultivation speed hadn’t slowed much.

The women attributed it to his relaxed state of mind, claiming that was why he progressed so swiftly. They advised him to balance work and rest, not to keep his nerves constantly strained. Taking their words to heart, Ye Liuyun allowed himself to unwind completely.

However, he never neglected his daily cultivation of the power of heaven and earth, as well as spatial energy.

He also passed on all the techniques he could share to the women in his life, allowing them to cultivate at their own pace. At the very least, everyone—humans and demonic beasts alike—had to master the *Ten Thousand Poisons Heart Sutra* to guard against poisoning and assassination.

As for dual-core techniques and other secret arts, he didn’t impose them on the women who rarely engaged in battle, leaving the choice to them.

When Ye Liuyun accompanied Xuan Yuanling to inspect the merchant alliances, he took the opportunity to visit his young disciple, Luan Ping.

Though only ten years old, Luan Ping had already reached the Creation Realm—far surpassing Ye Liuyun’s own strength at that age.

"The gap between the Immortal Realm and the Mortal World truly is vast. Even the starting point of martial cultivation is different!" Ye Liuyun could only shake his head in resignation.

He provided Luan Ping with ample resources, helping him refine his true essence, divine soul, bloodline, and physique. He also left enough supplies for the boy to cultivate all the way to the Immortal Realm and gave him further guidance.

Luan Ping was reluctant to part with him and begged to follow Ye Liuyun. But after some thought, Ye Liuyun still refused to take him along.

"Your strength isn’t sufficient yet, and there’s nothing I could assign you to do. Keep training on your own. When you’re a bit older, you can start traveling more."

He also forged a blade for Luan Ping, modeled after his own Demon-Slaying Saber and embedded with demon-repelling ore. He instructed the boy to begin nurturing it with his divine sense, cultivating it as his personal weapon.

After witnessing the reluctant farewell between Luan Ping and Ye Liuyun, Xuan Yuanling asked, "With so many women around you, have you ever thought about having a child?"

Ye Liuyun explained, "I’ll consider it after reaching the Unity Realm. Bloodline inheritance is crucial for determining the next generation’s starting point. I feel my current power of bloodline still isn’t strong enough."

"But it’s not just up to you!" Xuan Yuanling countered. "We’d all need to improve together!" She meant that the women around him would also need to enhance their bloodlines.

"True," Ye Liuyun agreed, acknowledging her point. But since he wasn’t in a hurry, he didn’t dwell on the topic further.
