Chapter 2803: Chapter 2803

Ye Liuyun’s troop movements couldn’t escape Fuyang’s surveillance either.

Soon enough, through careful analysis, Fuyang pinpointed Ye Liuyun’s unit, deducing it to be the main force. Without hesitation, he redirected his elite warriors and armies toward Ye Liuyun’s position.

But Ye Liuyun, with his far-sighted Golden Eyes, spotted Fuyang’s forces gathering before him long before Fuyang even realized he’d been detected.

"Well, well," Ye Liuyun smirked, "looks like this old goat has it out for me!"

Instead of advancing, he halted his forces and circled the star system where Fuyang lay in wait, systematically dismantling the reinforcements stationed around him.

Fuyang quickly grasped Ye Liuyun’s strategy. Yet, he made no adjustments—choosing instead to bide his time, waiting for Ye Liuyun to strike.

"Fifteen million troops, plus who knows how many elite alien warriors? That’s a fight I’m not taking!"

With that, Ye Liuyun abruptly turned and marched his forces elsewhere, resuming his training campaigns in another direction.

Fuyang nearly choked on his own fury. He had deliberately left his peripheral forces unsupported, expecting Ye Liuyun to engage him head-on. Instead, Ye Liuyun had wiped out his surrounding allies and simply moved on, leaving Fuyang to stew over the pointless sacrifice of so many alien forces.

Now, those fallen warriors and their planets had become resources for Ye Liuyun’s army. Fuyang felt the sting of a terrible bargain.

"This won’t do," he fumed. "If we stay on the defensive, they’ll just keep picking off our surrounding systems one by one!"

Determined to turn the tables, Fuyang resolved that the next time he located Ye Liuyun, he would take the fight to him.

Meanwhile, the moment Ye Liuyun confirmed Fuyang’s position, he boarded his Spirit Fox warship and vanished—only to reappear in the very star system Fuyang had just abandoned.

"Now’s our chance—destroy all their altars first!" Ye Liuyun immediately signaled Broken Horn.

Eleven supreme rulers of the alien race, along with Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger, split up and charged toward thirteen different alien planets, each making a beeline for the sacrificial altars.

Ye Liuyun himself headed straight for the heart of the star system, where the aliens’ grandest altar stood. Before he even landed, he spotted over a thousand elite alien warriors stationed there, likely guarding against his surprise attack.

"How many of these bastards we take down today depends on you two!" Ye Liuyun muttered, unleashing the Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine before even engaging. "Crush their altar to dust!"

As the massive stele hurtled through the air, it expanded rapidly, while the vine clung to its surface, concealing itself. Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun drew his Demon-Slaying Blade and donned dual-layered armor, bracing for the bloodbath ahead.

Broken Horn was assigned to assault two altars on the periphery, where resistance would be lighter. Once successful, he’d rush back in his Spirit Cat battleship to reinforce Ye Liuyun—provided Ye Liuyun could hold out until then.

But holding out against tens of thousands of alien troops and over a thousand elite warriors was no small feat.

The stele’s colossal shadow alerted the aliens the moment it descended. A hundred of their champions shot skyward, unleashing a barrage of attacks to intercept it.

Ye Liuyun activated his temporal powers mid-swing, darting ahead of the stele. His blade carved through the aliens like a scythe through wheat, cleaving them in half before time resumed. With a sidestep, he let the stele continue its crushing descent.

He couldn’t afford to exhaust his temporal energy all at once, so he settled for these brief bursts to clear the stele’s path.

Undeterred, the monument plummeted downward.

"Stop it at all costs!" roared an alien commander, rallying his forces to intercept the falling stele.

The foreign warriors below continued their relentless assault upward. Yet the Demon-Sealing Stele absorbed every attack without faltering.

Seeing this, the alien horde charged forward, attempting to physically block the stele’s descent.

"Leave them to me—just keep smashing downward!" Ye Liuyun called out to the stele. Activating his temporal power once more, he swung the Demon-Slaying Blade and resumed cutting down the enemy forces. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Caught off guard by the sudden time freeze, these warriors had no chance to defend themselves. Without drawing upon the power of their spatial realms, four or five fell with each swing of the blade.

"Hah! This is exhilarating! Slaughter them—wipe them all out!" The Demon-Slaying Blade itself reveled in the carnage, cheering Ye Liuyun on through their mental link.

But Ye Liuyun paid it no mind, wholly focused on clearing a path for the stele. He conserved his temporal energy, eliminating only those foes who drew too close before pausing to recover his strength. The stele would descend further, and then he would strike again.

Meanwhile, the other alien forces had already succeeded in attacking their assigned altars. Having left the first site behind, they now raced toward new targets aboard their Spirit-Cat warships.

Ye Liuyun deliberately held back from destroying the altars himself. He was waiting—hoping Fuyang would dispatch reinforcements upon receiving word of the assault. That way, he could eliminate more of the enemy before finally bringing the altars down.

And if Fuyang dared to come personally? Even better. A single flash of white light would be enough to erase him.

As expected, Fuyang soon learned of the attack.

"That damned brat tricked me again! He doubled back to ambush our base!" Fuyang roared, his fury startling the nearby warriors.

But upon assessing the situation, he realized the only way to send reinforcements in time was through the primary altar. He also knew that if he dispatched troops only for the altar to collapse afterward, they would be lost for nothing.

Gritting his teeth until they creaked, Fuyang glared at the altar before him—yet still, he hesitated.

He was convinced Ye Liuyun, capable of destroying so many altars, wouldn’t leave just one passage open out of carelessness. No, this had to be a trap, bait to lure in more of his forces. So he resisted. No reinforcements would be sent.

On Ye Liuyun’s side, his doppelganger moved the fastest. Though not particularly powerful, the clone utilized temporal energy—destroying one altar before swiftly retreating, leaving no trace for the enemy to detect.

Thus, he became the first to obliterate an altar and was now racing toward the next target aboard the Spirit Cat battleship. Broken Horn also progressed smoothly. After demolishing several altars, it unleashed a contingent of elite warriors and soldiers to purge the alien races infesting the planet, harvesting their primordial energy before boarding the Spirit Cat battleship to assault the next world.

Every elite warrior of the alien races followed the same strategy: the moment an altar was destroyed, they immediately boarded the Spirit Cat battleship to storm the next one. This prevented enemy reinforcements from arriving through the altars.

These smaller altars had sluggish transmission speeds for reinforcements and lacked sufficient safeguards, making the alien races hesitant to act recklessly.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun had already repelled six waves of charging alien forces for the Demon Vine. The Sealing Demon Stele was now perilously close to the altar. The commander in charge here frantically sent distress messages to Fuyang via transmission talismans while desperately urging the alien elites to charge forward and block the stele’s advance.
