Chapter 2777: Chapter 2777

Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger managed to capture quite a few elite alien warriors along the way, while the rest of the group focused on eliminating the rank-and-file alien soldiers.

The red-armored alien at the seventh level of Dominance was subdued by the Vermilion Bird. The winged aliens, who had once dominated the skies, finally met their match—swarms of them were obliterated into ash by the barrage from the Spirit Cat battleships.

Under Ye Liuyun’s guidance, Lei Ming successfully refined the alien’s third eye, granting his golden pupils the same abilities—one capable of emitting white light, the other black. This battle served as the perfect training ground for him to master the dual beams, using the alien soldiers as live targets.

On the ground, the demonic forces mowed down the alien foot soldiers like weeds. In the end, the entire alien force was completely annihilated.

After the battle, a tally revealed that Ye Liuyun alone had taken over two hundred high-ranking alien prisoners, while the others had also captured a considerable number.

Then, a whimsical idea struck him—why not form an alien unit? They could fight among themselves for training, gather their own cultivation resources, and serve as long-term sparring partners for his forces.

So, he gathered all the alien captives and assembled a unit of over three hundred, led by a winged alien at the eighth level of Dominance. Even the task of scavenging the battlefield was delegated to them, collecting whatever resources they needed.

The Demon Vine and the Demon-Sealing Stele only absorbed the energy from the alien corpses, leaving the storage rings for the alien unit to loot. Though each soldier’s ring held meager resources individually, the sheer volume ensured a decent stockpile to sustain the aliens for a while.

From then on, these aliens would serve as training dummies in peacetime and as combatants in battle, self-sufficient in resources. They turned out to be a surprisingly useful asset for Ye Liuyun. Though their own progress was slow, at least they wouldn’t regress.

Ye Liuyun also realized that having such a unit would be invaluable for future campaigns against the aliens. Moving forward, he resolved to capture rather than kill whenever possible, steadily expanding this force.

Once the battlefield was thoroughly cleared, Ye Liuyun absorbed the last planet of the star system into his spatial world and resumed his original course, advancing toward the alien stronghold.

A scouting party was formed—one eighth-level Dominance winged alien leading two others at the sixth and seventh levels. Split into two teams, they leveraged their speed to conduct wide-range reconnaissance.

True enough, they discovered several alien settlements, some large, some small. Ye Liuyun frequently deviated from his route to eliminate these groups, using the opportunities to sharpen his team’s skills, gather resources, boost their strength, and simultaneously grow his alien army.

Before long, his alien unit had swelled to over a thousand, becoming a force to be reckoned with. The ranks were diverse, with power levels ranging from the fifth to the eighth level of Dominance. Any aliens below the fifth level were left for the others to use as training fodder.

Gradually, star systems came into view in the distance, and the void of space no longer felt so desolate. However, traces of alien presence were evident in many of these systems. The closer they got to the alien stronghold, the more frequently they encountered alien forces.

He had once discovered a star system completely overrun by an alien race. It had become their breeding ground, continuously funneling human martial resources back through sacrificial altars.

After leading his forces to eradicate them, Ye Liuyun followed the altars to other star systems invaded by the alien army, wiping out the entire clan.

That particular alien race was dominated by the Black-Armored Fiends—formidable in both defense and combat. Though they had clearly developed over a long period, none among them had reached the seventh level of Dominator realm or higher. Still, their sheer numbers were staggering. After the battle, Ye Liuyun captured over five thousand Black-Armored Fiends at the sixth level of Dominator realm alone, incorporating them into his own alien forces as a powerful infantry unit.

From this massive clan, he also seized thirteen Red-Armored Fiends and seven Three-Eyed Fiends. However, their strength was lacking, barely reaching the fifth or sixth level of Dominator realm. To cultivate their power, Ye Liuyun had them devour numerous alien offspring and ordinary soldiers until their cultivation broke through to the seventh level before stopping.

With this, Ye Liuyun’s alien legion was fully battle-ready. Though only six thousand strong, none were below the sixth level of Dominator realm—more than enough to take on an entire alien army.

Meanwhile, the Demon Vine, the Sealing Demon Stele, and the Vermilion Bird had all advanced to the seventh level of Dominator realm after feasting on countless alien corpses and souls. The physical resilience of the Sealing Demon Stele and the Demon Vine had grown even more terrifying, surpassing even Ye Liuyun’s own hardened body.

Yet, due to constantly organizing battles and training his alien forces, Ye Liuyun had little time for his own cultivation. Even Liang Xue and Lei Ming were on the verge of breaking through to the fifth level of Dominator realm, while he showed no signs of progress.

After annihilating the Black-Armored Fiend clan, Ye Liuyun finally turned his focus inward, dedicating himself to cultivation. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

But before he could train for long, his winged alien scouts reported spotting an alien fleet—three colossal warships, each capable of carrying one to two million troops.

A fleet of this scale was rare even among their kind.

Ye Liuyun pondered briefly before deciding he couldn’t let this opportunity slip. Such a massive force suggested the aliens were planning something big.

"Keep watch from a distance. Don’t let them detect you!" he ordered the winged scouts while rushing toward the fleet.

His golden pupils allowed him to see far ahead. Even before closing in, he spotted the enormous warships. Once he had them in sight, he recalled the winged scouts and took over the tracking himself.

Through his golden gaze, he assessed the aliens aboard. The fleet was primarily composed of Blue-Armored Fiends—one ship alone held a million of them, all uniformly armored and mostly at the second level of Dominator realm.

The other two ships each carried 1.5 million alien soldiers, including many Blue-Armored Fiends, though these were far weaker—merely ordinary foot soldiers.

The commanders aboard all three ships were predominantly Blue-Armored Fiends. Their supreme leader, unmistakable with his pair of bull-like horns—one broken—stood out glaringly. His cultivation had reached the eighth level of Dominator realm.

The alien forces boasted no shortage of powerhouses: over a hundred Three-Eyed Fiends, more than a thousand Red-Armored elites, and nearly a thousand each of winged, golden-armored, and black-armored warriors.

Among them, thirty-three had reached the eighth level of Dominator realm, while over seven hundred were at the seventh level. As for those at the sixth level or higher, Ye Liuyun didn’t bother counting—likely numbering in the tens of thousands.

After surveying them, Ye Liuyun swallowed hard. The sheer strength of these aliens was both tempting and daunting.
