Chapter 2775: Chapter 2775

This mixed alien force was composed primarily of winged beings, who formed the core of their ranks, along with various other exotic species.

Their combat prowess was formidable, with aerial and ground units coordinating seamlessly—much like the synergy between Ye Liuyun’s forces and their falcon allies. Among their ranks were two winged warriors at the Dominator Eighth Level, a crimson-armored alien at Dominator Seventh Level, and a three-eyed alien at Dominator Sixth Level, capable of firing both black and white energy beams.

By the time Ye Liuyun arrived, the alien invaders had already seized half of the star system. The system itself wasn’t particularly large, consisting of only about five hundred planets with a relatively sparse population.

This alien faction had recently broken off from a larger force, making them neither overwhelmingly powerful nor numerous—perfect for raiding smaller star systems to gather resources and hone their skills.

Ye Liuyun surveyed the situation with his golden pupils before making his move. Though the star system was modest in size, the martial cultivators here were surprisingly strong, their average cultivation level comparable to that of the Wolfhunter System.

He figured that approaching them alone for an alliance would likely be futile, yet bringing the demon army along might intimidate them too much.

*"Better to start by taking out some of their elite fighters,"* he decided.

Just then, he spotted a detachment of alien troops attacking human cultivators. Among them were a Dominator Eighth-Level winged warrior and the three-eyed alien.

*Perfect. The three-eyed one first.*

Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun charged straight toward the battlefield, his focus locked on his target.

His speed was blinding. The sudden appearance of a human hurtling directly at it startled the three-eyed alien, which instinctively raised its head and fired a white beam at him.

Ye Liuyun responded with a far brighter, thicker beam of his own. The alien was obliterated instantly, its body completely disintegrated—save for a single eye.

With a flick of his hand, Ye Liuyun retrieved the eye and tossed it to Leiming. Now that she possessed golden pupils, she could refine such eyes as well. He had long wanted to procure a three-eyed alien’s orb for her, and now, the opportunity had finally arrived.

His abrupt intervention—and the swift annihilation of the three-eyed alien—brought the entire alien offensive to a halt. Even the Dominator Eighth-Level winged warrior studied him warily, baffled by his ability to unleash a white beam.

It hesitated, unwilling to act rashly. The power of Ye Liuyun’s beam far surpassed that of the three-eyed alien it had just witnessed being vaporized. The winged warrior wasn’t even confident it could dodge such an attack.

The human martial cultivators, already at a disadvantage, seized the opportunity to retreat, narrowly escaping disaster.

Seeing the human forces withdraw from the battlefield, Ye Liuyun immediately unleashed the Demon-Sealing Stele, the Demon Vine, and his companions—both human and beast. At the same time, he released the two martial cultivators at the eighth level of Dominance, sending them charging toward the devil creature.

The moment the alien saw two human warriors of such formidable strength—coupled with Ye Liuyun’s ability to fire deadly white beams from the sidelines—it knew better than to engage in a direct fight. Instead, it attempted to flee, relying on its speed to escape.

With a sharp command, it ordered its army to retreat while it took to the skies, wings unfurled, determined to make its getaway.

But Ye Liuyun merely smirked. There was no way he would let it slip away.

In an instant, he summoned three alien warriors of the eighth-level Dominance from his spatial world, directing them to intercept the winged creature midair. Meanwhile, he activated his temporal power and pursued the fleeing alien himself.

Just as the winged warrior spread its wings to soar away, time froze—leaving it suspended in mid-flight, utterly helpless.

Closing the distance, Ye Liuyun unleashed his divine soul, forcibly dragging the alien’s consciousness into his own sea of awareness before branding it with a slave seal. Without hesitation, he issued a command, forcing the creature to turn on its own kind and join the battle.

Once time resumed its flow, Ye Liuyun deployed a swarm of Spirit Cat battleships, ordering them to engage the winged aliens—both to test their combat capabilities and to sharpen their pilots’ skills.

To his surprise, however, the Spirit Cats’ spatial-jump ability made them overwhelmingly superior to the winged foes. Their speed surpassed even the aliens’; with a single warp, they could overtake fleeing enemies and obliterate them in a single blast.

Their defenses, too, proved impenetrable—aliens at the sixth level of Dominance or below couldn’t so much as scratch them, no matter how fiercely they attacked.

The only drawback was the staggering energy consumption. The enhanced speed, firepower, and shielding drained resources over ten times faster than standard models. Fortunately, Ye Liuyun’s current wealth allowed him to afford such extravagant equipment—otherwise, he’d never have been able to sustain their use.

With these formidable assets at his disposal, dealing with the alien horde became almost effortless. And now, with six eighth-level Dominance powerhouses on his side, every strike annihilated swathes of enemies.

Ye Liuyun and his doppelgänger, meanwhile, sought out winged aliens at the sixth level of Dominance, using them to hone their spatial manipulation and Xuan Yuan energy.

In these battles, his blade intent became his primary means of suppression, steadily sharpening with each clash. Now, a single slash from him posed a far greater threat than any direct attack with Xuan Yuan energy alone.

Therefore, he rarely resorted to palm strikes, instead channeling the profound Xuan Yuan energy directly into his blade’s intent. Even when he did strike, he had to infuse it with the power of Buddhist radiance to pose a real threat to the alien creatures.

The others and the demonic beasts were also seeking out suitable opponents to test their skills. Once they had fought enough, they would use their spiritual energy to subdue the aliens, capturing them within their own spatial realms for future training. When their true energy was nearly depleted, they would switch to spiritual attacks, devouring some of the alien’s psychic energy before retreating back to Ye Liuyun’s spatial world.

From the outset, Ye Liuyun and his companions targeted the strongest of the alien forces. The remaining ordinary alien soldiers were much easier to handle. Ye Liuyun left these weaker foes to the Demon-Sealing Stele, the Demon Vine, and the Vermilion Bird, while the rest of his group and the demonic beasts focused on encircling any aliens attempting to flee.

Thus, though the battle dragged on, it wasn’t particularly intense.

Once the fighting ended, Ye Liuyun gathered everyone back into his spatial world, instructing the Demon Vine and the Demon-Sealing Stele to scour the battlefield for any remaining alien corpses that could still be harvested. He himself went straight to speak with the human martial artists, not even bothering to clean up the battlefield.

To his surprise, however, the human warriors regarded Ye Liuyun with deep suspicion. They barred him from entering their camp, refusing even to invite him inside.

"Who are you? Why did you attack the aliens?" demanded their leader, his tone sharp and distrustful.

"My name is Ye Liuyun. I come from another star system," Ye Liuyun replied. "I’m here to fight the aliens, just like you. Since we share the same goal, perhaps we should join forces—"

Before he could finish, the leader cut him off. "We don’t need allies. We can handle the aliens ourselves—we don’t need outsiders meddling in our affairs!"

"Meddling?" Ye Liuyun frowned in disbelief. "If I hadn’t stepped in, you would have been wiped out!"
