Chapter 2774: Chapter 2774

Bored during his journey, Ye Liuyun would occasionally summon some alien creatures to spar with.

Though his own cultivation level was only at Dominator Tier Four, he deliberately chose opponents at Dominator Tier Six to push his limits and strengthen his physical endurance.

His companions also frequently joined these battles. Inside Ye Liuyun’s spatial world, they had to be cautious—their growing power made it all too easy to accidentally shatter an entire planet.

Ye Liuyun’s ability to harvest planets had improved dramatically. The stronger the foundational energy within his spatial world, the faster he could absorb them. What once took hours to refine a planet’s core energy now took mere minutes. Soon after, the planet would seamlessly merge into his spatial world.

His spatial world’s capacity had expanded as well, allowing him to store multiple planets at once. During quieter moments, he would further expand this realm, preparing for even greater acquisitions.

His clone, however, gathered far fewer planets. Originally intending to focus on demonic worlds, the clone found them scarce. Absorbing ordinary worlds had to be done cautiously—too quickly, and the foundational energy’s nature would shift. Only after demonizing the absorbed worlds could the process continue.

Lei Ming and the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon faced similar constraints. Only the Demon Vine was indiscriminate—after a nap, any energy it absorbed became its own.

The Demon-Sealing Stele, after consuming countless alien corpses, had nearly caught up to the Demon Vine, reaching a level between Dominator Tier Five and Six. But the Demon Vine had other advantages—it could absorb human cultivators’ remains and foundational energy alike. The stele, however, could only advance by devouring aliens or demons.

Yet in the vast expanse of the cosmos, encountering anyone was rare, let alone aliens or demons.

For Ye Liuyun, this was the perfect opportunity to focus on cultivation. Progressing from Dominator Tier Four to Five required immense time and resources.

He and his clone took turns leveraging the accelerated time flow within the clone’s spatial world. After refining their energy, they would emerge to spar, alternating daily battles against the aliens.

One day, as Ye Liuyun was fully engrossed in combat, the Falcon suddenly alerted him—another alien had appeared.

Ye Liuyun and the alien immediately ceased their battle, extending their spiritual senses. Sure enough, they detected another alien at the Dominator Eighth Level, accompanied by two Dominator Sixth Level aliens, swiftly approaching. What surprised Ye Liuyun was that all three aliens had wings, their flying speed rivaling that of a falcon.

Having captured numerous aliens and extracted their memories through soul-searching, Ye Liuyun was well aware of the unique traits of certain alien races. For instance, the Red Armor aliens possessed formidable spiritual power, while the Three-Eyed aliens could unleash beams of black and white light. Among them, the winged Featherwing Clan excelled in flight and intelligence gathering.

Drawn by the commotion of Ye Liuyun’s battle, these three Featherwing aliens were closing in. Ye Liuyun quickly stowed the falcon and his sparring partner into his spatial realm to protect them from harm. He also summoned two Dominator Eighth Level aliens clad in invisibility cloaks to guard him.

His doppelgänger materialized invisibly by his side, poised to strike at any moment.

The three Featherwing aliens charged straight toward Ye Liuyun without hesitation. The strongest among them launched an attack from a distance—a surge of gray-black energy coalescing into a massive eagle’s talon, swooping down upon Ye Liuyun.

One of the alien guardians beside Ye Liuyun reacted instantly, conjuring a colossal alien claw in midair. With a thunderous *boom*, it collided with the eagle’s talon, both dissipating into nothingness.

The Featherwing leader was visibly taken aback, its spiritual senses revealing that the counterattack hadn’t come from Ye Liuyun but from an invisible figure by his side.

Immediately, the trio slowed their advance, halting a safe distance away, wary of recklessly closing in.

*"Roar!"* The Dominator Eighth Level Featherwing let out a low growl, demanding to know Ye Liuyun’s identity.

The two alien escorts understood the question perfectly.

Seizing the moment, Ye Liuyun activated the Thousand Illusions Art, transforming before their eyes into a Red Armor alien. His two companions shed their invisibility cloaks, revealing their true forms.

"Tell them I’ve been practicing a unique technique that allows me to take human form, but I’m actually a Red Armor alien," Ye Liuyun instructed his escorts to relay.

One of the aliens promptly conveyed the message.

The Featherwing trio seemed convinced, their expressions shifting to astonishment as they cautiously approached to inspect Ye Liuyun.

The moment they drew near, Ye Liuyun wielded his temporal power, yanking the Dominator Eighth Level alien’s soul into his consciousness in two swift motions. There, he imprinted it with a slave seal before stowing the subdued alien into his spatial realm.

As for the other two winged aliens, Ye Liuyun didn’t attempt to control them. Instead, he and his doppelganger each took on one opponent, engaging them in combat purely for the sake of practice.

The winged aliens suddenly realized their powerful companion had vanished, and now Ye Liuyun was attacking them. Worse still, both Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger were backed by a Dominator-level expert of the eighth rank. Knowing they stood no chance, they immediately turned and fled.

Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger gave chase at full speed, channeling their spatial powers to the limit. This wasn’t just about combat practice—it was also a chance to hone their spatial manipulation skills.

When the winged aliens realized they couldn’t shake off their pursuers, they split up, each fleeing at top speed. Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger followed suit, each tailing one of the aliens relentlessly.

After a while, Ye Liuyun noticed that despite his best efforts, his spatial powers still couldn’t match the winged aliens’ speed. Even at full capacity, he lagged behind.

So he resorted to his temporal powers, cutting off their escape and forcing them into battle. Only after a fierce fight did he finally brand them with slave marks and stow them away in his spatial world.

Through soul-searching, Ye Liuyun learned that these winged aliens were part of a force attacking a human-inhabited star system not far away. The three of them had been scouts, sent to survey the surrounding regions.

Seeing no urgency in his original journey, Ye Liuyun decided to deviate from his course and investigate that star system.

The winged aliens were not only fast but could also cover vast distances, so it took Ye Liuyun some time to reach the besieged star system.

Along the way, he frequently practiced his spatial powers with them, gradually improving his ability to traverse the void. By the time he arrived, he had closed the speed gap enough that even a sixth-rank Dominator-level winged alien couldn’t easily outpace him.
