Chapter 2615: Chapter 2615

Behind the golden-armored alien elders stood three thousand warriors at the Heavenly Human Third Realm, poised for battle.

"Huh? Where are they?" Ye Liuyun muttered in confusion.

Scanning the area with his golden pupils, he found no trace of the three-eyed aliens like Leyton—no lingering souls, no signs of cloaking devices.

He soared into the starry void, searching every corner, even peering beneath the golden-armored aliens with his penetrating gaze. Still, Leyton and his kind remained elusive.

He questioned the demonic beasts like the Vespera, who had been slaughtering aliens outside, but none had seen Leyton either.

After another fruitless sweep through the cosmos, Ye Liuyun concluded that the golden-armored elders were mere bait left by Leyton. The moment he attacked them, Leyton would surely emerge. But if he stayed hidden, so would Leyton.

Deciding to play along, Ye Liuyun resolved to take the bait—but only after letting others strike first, testing Leyton’s patience.

He summoned the Demon-Sealing Stele, unleashing it to gorge on energy. To protect it from the alien elites, he sent the Nine-Headed Netherdrake and the Vermilion Bird to provide cover.

With a thunderous roar, the Netherdrake unleashed a sonic blast laced with soul-shaking waves, detonating above the golden-armored aliens. The Vermilion Bird followed, engulfing them in a sea of flames.

Though the flames couldn’t harm these Dominator-level aliens, they obscured their vision. Seizing the moment, the Netherdrake struck with a beam of white light, slaying one elder. The Demon-Sealing Stele immediately pinned the corpse, draining its energy.

The Netherdrake then spewed black smoke, masking the stele’s movements while clashing with the elders using spatial energy. Its eyes alternated between white and black beams, cutting down alien elites.

The stele, cunningly avoiding transformation, continued absorbing energy from the Netherdrake’s kills. Meanwhile, the Vermilion Bird charged into the Heavenly Human Third Realm aliens, wreathed in fire.

Ye Liuyun had warned them—these aliens had formidable soul defenses. Direct soul attacks were futile; they had to rely on brute force.

When even this failed to draw out the three-eyed aliens, Ye Liuyun escalated the pressure, releasing two half-beast corpse demons and a horde of captive aliens into the fray.

The two half-beast corpse demon puppets, now infused with ample primordial energy by Ye Liuyun, were fully capable of contending with the golden-armored alien elders. Coupled with the combined efforts of alien powerhouses like Hongguang, the golden-armored elders soon found themselves overwhelmed, ultimately forcing the emergence of a three-eyed golden-armored alien.

As it turned out, this three-eyed golden-armored alien had been concealed within a spatial world by a soldier at the Heavenly Human realm—hidden with remarkable secrecy and positioned alarmingly close to the other golden-armored aliens.

The moment it appeared, it unleashed beams of white light, instantly obliterating two of Ye Liuyun’s alien allies. Without hesitation, it then directed twin streaks of black light toward the half-beast corpse demon puppets.

The black beams struck precisely where the puppets’ consciousness cores were stored. However, Ye Liuyun had previously shielded those cores with material from the Black Umbrella, rendering them impervious to the dark energy.

The three-eyed alien froze momentarily, baffled by the ineffectiveness of its attack.

Before it could process the failure, Ye Liuyun had already closed the distance amid the chaos. Now facing only a single opponent, the task became far simpler. Ye Liuyun once again wielded his temporal power, swiftly stripping away the alien’s soul-defense artifact before launching a direct psychic assault into its mind.

Within the alien’s consciousness, Ye Liuyun discovered not just its own soul but also a formidable secondary presence—likely a guardian spirit left behind by an elder or a powerful family member.

Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun implanted a slave seal into the alien’s soul, then forcibly extracted the guardian spirit into his own consciousness, where the Divine Decree promptly dissolved it. With the three-eyed alien now subdued, he stashed it into his spatial world before ascending back into the sky to survey the battlefield from afar.

"That Leyton sure has remarkable patience," Ye Liuyun mused after a brief wait, noting that Leyton still showed no signs of movement. Nor did any additional three-eyed golden-armored aliens emerge.

"Nine-Headed Demon Dragon, Vermilion Bird—fall back." He immediately recalled the two.

The Nine-Headed Demon Dragon was nearly spent, and the Vermilion Bird had already absorbed enough soul energy while slaughtering numerous third-tier Heavenly Human aliens—more than enough to justify its deployment.

Fearing Leyton might target them, Ye Liuyun swiftly withdrew both into his spatial world.

As for the Demon-Sealing Stele and the half-beast corpse demon puppets, he harbored no such concerns. The alien powerhouses under his command could fight to the death—after this battle, he had no intention of keeping them anyway.

However, the sheer number of alien elites on the field quickly drained the puppets’ energy reserves, forcing Ye Liuyun to retrieve them as well.

Then, the foreign powerhouses led by Hongguang were swiftly slain one after another. Yet the Demon Sealing Stele continued to scavenge the battlefield indiscriminately, hovering over corpses regardless of allegiance.

Since it only targeted the dead, the enemy forces initially paid it no mind, focusing instead on eliminating the foreign warriors summoned by Ye Liuyun.

But suddenly—the stele shot into the air without warning, startling every foe present. As it ascended, its form expanded ominously, radiating an aura so oppressive that even the invaders sensed impending doom.

"It broke through!"

Ye Liuyun felt the stele’s exhilaration through their bond. With a swift gesture, he recalled Hongguang and the two golden-armored elders. Before he could retrieve the others, the stele came crashing down like a collapsing sky, pinning numerous foreign overlords beneath its weight.

Those near the edges scrambled desperately to escape, while those trapped directly beneath mustered every ounce of strength to resist its descent. Previously, the stele could barely suppress one or two overlords at most. Yet now, it held its own against an entire group.

"Cease resistance—keep attacking them!" Ye Liuyun commanded through the slave marks, forcing his controlled invaders to abandon their struggle against the stele and instead turn on their kin.

Caught off guard, several foes faltered under the renewed assault, their defenses crumbling. Seizing the opportunity, the stele pressed downward with even greater force.

Beneath it, the trapped invaders felt their energy draining at an alarming rate. This time, the stele wasn’t feeding on a single victim—it was siphoning power from every overlord within its crushing domain.

Reports from his enslaved warriors left Ye Liuyun stunned. The stele now pinned forty to fifty invaders, while more battered at its edges. A flicker of doubt crossed his mind—could the stele truly handle such an overwhelming feast?
