Chapter 2453: Chapter 2453

After Ye Liuyun’s spatial powers significantly improved, the battles during their Death Journey became much easier.

Together with his clone and Mosha, the trio could now handle any danger with effortless ease. On one occasion, they even joined forces to wipe out all the ferocious beasts and martial cultivators in an entire region in one fell swoop. The perils of the Death Journey and the once-formidable martial experts now crumbled before them without resistance.

Ye Liuyun continued to place slave seals on powerful warriors, handing them over to Ling Hai for management. This allowed him to amass vast resources in a short time, which he then used to accelerate his cultivation within the Mystic Void Stone.

His advance energy grew increasingly abundant, its quality steadily refining until it reached the threshold for a breakthrough. Thanks to the intense battles he had fought during this period, he didn’t need to suppress his progress—instead, he directly ascended to the second level of the Heavenly Human realm.

With this breakthrough, his control over the power of heaven and earth surged once more. Shifting his focus, he began honing the intensity of his attacks.

One day, he and Mosha arrived at the edge of a dense forest. Ye Liuyun signaled Mosha to hold back, wanting to test the full force of his strikes.

To his satisfaction, the entire area was flattened with just four palm strikes, every beast within obliterated. The sheer spectacle of Ye Liuyun absorbing the glowing crystals and remains of the slain beasts left even Mosha stunned.

Countless white crystals and monstrous carcasses rose from the ground, swirling into Ye Liuyun’s Interspatial Ring. Mosha couldn’t help but marvel—he was now far outmatched by his companion.

But just as Ye Liuyun finished collecting the spoils, he detected a faint spatial ripple emanating from the flattened ruins. Extending his divine sense, he was startled to discover the entrance to a hidden realm.

"Is this the exit from the Death Journey?" Ye Liuyun murmured, never expecting to find it here.

"Where?" Mosha hadn’t spotted the exit yet.

Only when Ye Liuyun pointed it out did he finally see the hidden realm’s gateway.

"It’s here! Your death march can finally end!"

Mosha seemed even more excited than Ye Liuyun. Though the exit wasn’t meant for him, witnessing someone walk out of this place alive was motivation enough.

But to his surprise, Ye Liuyun wasn’t in a hurry to leave.

Having just broken through to the second level of Heavenly Realm, he intended to stay and hone his skills further, solidifying his newfound strength. This place had resources and worthy opponents—where else would he find such ideal training grounds?

Without hesitation, he used his spatial power to shift the hidden realm’s entrance underground, ensuring no one else would stumble upon it.

Truth be told, even if he hadn’t moved it, most martial practitioners with weaker spatial abilities wouldn’t have detected the gateway. He simply didn’t want to risk someone accidentally wandering in.

Soon after, Mosha and Ye Liuyun went their separate ways to train independently. Mosha was determined to carve out his own exit through sheer effort.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun continued his relentless training. Mountains split before him, seas yielded to his will—nothing could stand in his way now.

Every time he cleared a region, another hidden realm exit would appear, yet he ignored them all.

As time passed, the realm itself began resisting him, suppressing his power. But Ye Liuyun saw this as yet another trial to overcome.

Eventually, Mosha succeeded in forging his own exit. After bidding Ye Liuyun farewell, he left the death march behind and returned to report to Black Kill.

Once Ye Liuyun had fully stabilized his cultivation, he realized that if he lingered any longer, the realm itself might turn against him.

Only then did he recall Tian Dao and the others into his spatial world before seeking out Sharman.

Sharman had grown significantly stronger, but when he heard Ye Liuyun was leaving, he wanted to test the gap between them. To his shock, he couldn’t even withstand a single palm strike from Ye Liuyun.

With a casual flick of his hand from a distance, Ye Liuyun’s strike warped through space and landed squarely on Sharman, sending him flying far back. And this was without Ye Liuyun even using his full strength. Still, the blow left Sharman on the brink of death, forcing him to consume a drop of Life Spring Water to recover.

"Do you really need this level of strength to leave the Death Pilgrimage?" Sharman asked despairingly.

"Pretty much," Ye Liuyun replied. "And you’ll need to improve your soul power and spatial abilities too. Otherwise, you won’t even detect the hidden exits of the secret realms. Every zone has one—you just can’t see them unless you’re strong enough."

Sharman fell silent for a long moment before suddenly blurting out, "Then just take me with you! At this rate, it’ll take me years to reach that level. I don’t want to be stuck here forever!"

"Are you sure you don’t want to keep training?" Ye Liuyun pressed.

"It’s not that I don’t want to—it’s that I can’t afford the time!" Sharman sighed in frustration. "Years is just an optimistic guess. If luck isn’t on my side, it could take even longer. I might die here, or never leave at all! I’ve already used up three drops of the Life Spring Water you gave me. The further I go, the more dangerous it gets. I might not even survive long enough to make it out."

Ye Liuyun considered his words and found them reasonable. Not everyone had the chance to leave—after all, most who came here ended up as mere training fodder.

Sharman’s soul power and spatial abilities were still far too weak. Even with years of training, unless he focused solely on those, it might not be enough.

Taking Sharman’s advice to heart, Ye Liuyun opened the labyrinth to Ling Hai, the others, and even Tian Dao’s elite squad, allowing them all to train inside. Even Lei Ming, the Dragon Maiden, and the rest entered to hone their soul and spatial powers. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

He then extended the same offer to Sharman—though whether to enter his spatial world was ultimately Sharman’s choice. After all, stepping into someone else’s domain meant entrusting them with your life.

Yet without hesitation, Sharman signed an equal contract with Ye Liuyun and entered his spatial world, diving straight into the labyrinth to train.

Ye Liuyun had set ground rules for these individuals—all duels were to be fought with restraint, never escalating to lethal force.

After establishing these terms, he proceeded to shift several regions into his spatial realm. However, the secret realm quickly detected his actions and intensified its suppression of his power, reducing his strength by half.

With his capabilities severely restricted, staying any longer would have been perilous. Left with no choice, Ye Liuyun exited through the realm’s passage, bringing his death-defying journey to an end.

"Finally, it’s over!"

Emerging into the open air, he felt the oppressive spatial pressure lift, and his body lightened with relief. Yet no sooner had he exhaled than he sensed three formidable martial cultivators nearby, their auras blazing like crimson flames.

Judging by their attire, they unmistakably belonged to three distinct factions: the Black Killers, the royal family, and the military.
