Chapter 2394: Chapter 2394 Unanimous Vote
Liang Xue agreed with Ye Ling’s proposal. "She’s right. Without the protection of martial experts, the weak will either be wiped out by the Sanctuary Dynasty or fall prey to foreign races. They won’t survive on their own."
"Besides, once these two worlds are merged into your Spatial World, the infusion will enhance its strength, which in turn will benefit your own power."
"Exactly. Enough hesitation! It’s clear the Sanctuary Dynasty never intended to form an alliance with us. Why should we continue risking our lives fighting foreign races for their sake?"
By this time, Qiong Qi had mostly recovered the memories he had erased. After grasping the full picture, he too advised Ye Liuyun to absorb both Outpost Island and Moyana Island into his domain.
Following thorough discussion with his companions, Ye Liuyun also came to the conclusion that this was the most viable and strategic solution.
He immediately instructed Pei Yong to dispatch a fleet of Riftblades to scout the movements of the Sanctuary Dynasty’s army. At the same time, he summoned all major factions from Outpost Island and Moyana Island to convene a grand assembly.
During the meeting, he laid out the current situation, explaining the changes that would occur following the relocation of their worlds. Each faction was given the freedom to decide for themselves.
Given the urgency of the situation, Ye Liuyun allowed them only three days to reach a decision.
Some factions were unwilling to relocate. Entering Ye Liuyun’s Spatial World would mean falling entirely under his control, something they were hesitant to accept.
Yet at the same time, they were also reluctant to abandon their homelands. Although many raised suggestions to resolve this dilemma, none offered a truly viable solution.
"In our current situation, we no longer have the luxury of time. In the end, the majority must decide for the rest."
He continued, "Three days from now, we will take a vote. If the majority wishes to stay, then everyone will relocate to Moyana Island, and I will only absorb Outpost Island. If the majority chooses to leave, then those who insist on staying must move to the battlefield against the foreign race."
After making this announcement, Ye Liuyun left the decision-making to the gathered powers and instructed his people to craft a public notice and distribute it across both realms—ensuring that all citizens were informed.
Those who wished to remain were to temporarily relocate to the foreign race battlefield.
Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun asked Ye Ling to guide him to the Power of Origin of Outpost Island in order to begin the communication process.
As before, the Power of Origin quickly acknowledged Ye Liuyun’s presence and accepted his attempt to integrate with it.
Curious, Ye Liuyun asked, "What exactly do you say to it? It always accepts my refinement so quickly."
Ye Ling chuckled and replied, "I gave it a little scare. Told it that all the martial practitioners are relocating, and the foreign race is arriving soon. If it doesn’t move, it’ll be annihilated."
"So threats really do work." Ye Liuyun said with a wry smile.
Ye Ling added, "Honestly, they’re not that hard to communicate with. It’s just that humans usually can’t understand them well, and misunderstandings happen easily. Most of the time, they assume humans are trying to destroy them."
"Humans aren’t the foreign race. Why are they so tense around us?" Ye Liuyun asked with a frown.
Ye Ling simply shrugged and replied, "To them, it doesn’t matter whether you’re human, beast, or from the foreign race. They see all of us the same way."
"True enough!" Ye Liuyun nodded after a moment’s thought. Remembering how the Sanctuary Dynasty’s forces had acted, he realized they were no different from the foreign race—both had extracted the Power of Origin to fuel their own strength.
"This world is huge though. Are you sure you can absorb it?" he asked with a trace of concern.
"In the past, your Spatial World was too small, so it wasn’t possible. But now? It’s already large enough!"
Ye Ling also reassured Ye Liuyun not to worry, promising to handle the entire process of integration herself.
Relieved, Ye Liuyun returned to the assembly of major forces and began briefing them about the coming challenges and the power of the enemies they might face.
"If Moyana Island is left behind, will the Alliance of Goddesses still protect us or help resist the foreign race?" someone asked anxiously, worried about the fate of those who chose to stay.
"No, interstellar travel takes a tremendous amount of time. Even if we wanted to come to your aid, we might not make it in time. Plus, traveling through the starry void is dangerous and drains vast amounts of energy. It’s not easy to return once we leave."
"Then could you at least leave behind some of the warships and Riftblades for us? That way, we’d at least have a chance to defend ourselves." another voice asked.
"No! The method to forge warships and Riftblades must remain strictly confidential. We absolutely cannot allow that knowledge to fall into the hands of the foreign race." Ye Liuyun rejected the idea without hesitation.
"Then aren’t those who stay behind just waiting to die? The resources on the foreign race battleground aren’t enough either. The ones left behind won’t last long." someone voiced their concern.
"At the moment, I don’t know how many people will choose to stay—or whether any experts will remain behind. If many do stay, then one world can be preserved. But if only a few remain, then there’s nothing we can do. We have to prioritize the safety and well-being of the majority."
Ye Liuyun replied, clearly aware that hesitation would only endanger more lives. Decisions needed to be made fast.
Moreover, if he planned to absorb both worlds, there would need to be a significant interval between the two processes.
Just then, Ao Ding, the Dragon Clan’s chief, stepped forward and asked, "Must we really leave? Isn’t there a chance we can fight them?"
Ye Liuyun nodded solemnly. "We are not their match. Even if we sacrifice all our experts in a desperate stand, at most we might stop their first wave. But afterward, few would survive."
"And who would be left to defend against the foreign races? I’ve seen how they annihilate a world. In truth, they’re no different from the foreign races—slaughtering everything, seizing all they can."
"Very well. We believe you. We agree to relocate. What preparations must we make?" Ao Ding, though reluctant, was open-minded and made his decision swiftly.
"I’ll assign a Formation master to help reinforce your secret realms and residences, just to ensure nothing gets damaged during the fusion process."
Ye Liuyun had long-standing ties with the Dragon Clan and deeply appreciated the help they had once given him. Because of that, he offered them special consideration during the relocation.
Following that, the Dragon Clan, along with the Beast Mountain, Fairy Clan, and Northsky Sect—all of whom trusted Ye Liuyun’s judgment and strength, immediately returned to make the necessary preparations.
The Devil Clan, led by the Witch, also came forward to ask Ye Liuyun for his opinion. Upon learning that he intended to depart, she decided without hesitation to follow him as well.
To ensure everyone’s safety during the integration process, Ye Liuyun quickly dispatched Formation masters to each of these powerful factions. Their task was to set up formations around each territory.
Meanwhile, Azriel took advantage of this brief window to use the Rootless Ark to relocate the entire Endless Sea into the clone’s Spatial World, preventing the fusion from causing tidal surges that might endanger nearby people.
As for the two worlds themselves, not all martial practitioners were willing to leave. Many stocked up on essential supplies and headed for the foreign race battlegrounds instead.
Some remaining factions spent those few days trying to persuade others to stay, hoping to strengthen their numbers.
However, Ye Liuyun did not interfere. He allowed them to campaign freely, making their own choices.
Three days later, the final vote was held. The majority still chose to leave, believing it safer to follow Ye Liuyun than to remain unprotected.
But the minority factions immediately voiced their outrage. "What about us? Are we really expected to survive in the foreign race battlegrounds? There’s not nearly enough land or resources for all of us to live!"
"That’s right! You have to leave at least one world for us!"
The protests grew louder, and soon they began confronting Ye Liuyun directly, unwilling to accept the result.
