"Who knows!" Qiong Qi quickly cut the conversation short, showing no intention of continuing further.
It was as if the person controlling Qiong Qi was carefully deciding how to respond to Ye Liuyun’s probing.
"Qiong Qi must’ve been taken over by someone from the Sanctuary Dynasty." Ye Liuyun speculated.
Judging by Qiong Qi’s reaction, it seemed even the Sanctuary Dynasty was surprised to hear Ye Liuyun mention the possibility of an alliance.
Still, Ye Liuyun couldn’t figure out how Qiong Qi’s memories had been erased.

"Oh, come on! This isn’t our first time sparring. Just go easy on me!" Ye Liuyun insisted.
Reluctantly, Qiong Qi gave in. "Fine, I’ll take it easy on you."
After finishing the grilled meat, the two of them stood up and began sparring.
Ye Liuyun subtly led the fight farther and farther away, drawing Qiong Qi out to the open sea.
He even began using Spatial Force, gradually pulling Qiong Qi farther from the coastal town to ensure no interference.
Once he judged they had reached a safe enough distance, Ye Liuyun suddenly released his clone and summoned the Devil Vine. Together, they launched a surprise attack on Qiong Qi.
"You’re cheating! Who brings backup to a sparring match..."

Ye Liuyun glanced at it and told Qiong Qi, "You can keep it!"
