When Sero turned on the furnace, the temperature inside started to rise quickly.

Without delay, he stowed away his gilded armour and robes, summoning his clone to train alongside him.
The Flame Force inside them provided some resistance, hence, both were able to endure the flames at first.
While the heat was still manageable, they seized the opportunity to absorb as much heat as they could to combust their advanced energy.
This combustion didn’t deplete their energy. Instead, it vaporised and then condensed. Underwent a complete refining process by itself. Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun funnelled the Flame Force into his Golden Crow Sacred Fire.
While his advanced energy adapted smoothly to the cultivation process, the dual assault of internal and external flames placed immense strain on his physical body.
Ye Liuyun was on the verge of a total physical breakdown in less than fifteen minutes.

Realising the danger, Ye Liuyun swiftly recalled his clone into his spatial realm and bolted out of the massive furnace.
Once outside, he grimaced in pain. His entire body was seared, covered in burns.
And all that happened in barely over fifteen minutes.

Ye Liuyun exhaled sharply, then dropped to the ground in a cross-legged position, channelling his advanced energy to heal his scorched flesh.
The moment his body recovered, he inhaled deeply and charged back into the furnace, summoning his doppelganger once more.
Throughout the day, he continued this pattern. He pushed through the pain to the best of his ability before retreating to heal. After a day of repetitive action prolonged his stay inside for half an hour per entry.
Just then, Sero entered and told Ye Liuyun to take a break.
"You should head to the lounge and take some Pure Brew. Also, don’t forget to replenish your intake of Elixirs," Sero reminded him.
Ye Liuyun replied with a subtle nod. He had intended to do so regardless of the recommendation.

He went back to training in the enormous furnace after half a day of rest. After another whole day of training, he still couldn’t make it through two hours.
