"Can you get more supply? I’ll take as much as you could gather!" Ye Liuyun declared eagerly.
"Well, we can, but I can’t guarantee the exact quantity right now. We’ll need time to gather it in batches."
Chen Xingnan lightly laughed in response. "I should also inform you that after the first usage, the impact drastically fades. Otherwise, by now, all of us would have broken through to Immortal Realm."
"I see!" Finally, Ye Liuyun realised that utilising it excessively wouldn’t be helpful.
However, with his vast number of followers and soldiers, even tens of thousands of drops would be put to good use.
Next, they began negotiating the price. Ye Liuyun wasn’t interested in Alora Crystal. Instead, he wanted to exchange for resources like Emerald Essence Liquid and Storage Stones, among many others.
Ye Liuyun realised that he would need to use the Black Tower to return to the God Realm due to the vast amount of materials being transported.
He had brought a great deal of resources, but the majority were for his army, with very little of it suitable for the Immortal realm’s first through sixth levels and even fewer for the seventh and eighth realm.
They decided on a delivery date one month later after negotiating the price.
"Do you carry that many resources on you?" Chen Xingnan questioned doubtfully.
Ye Liuyun replied, "No, but I can go back and gather them through the Conveyor Formation."
"You have a Conveyor Formation? Could I then have a chance to visit your side?" Chen Xingnan inquired further.
"If you’re willing to entrust your life completely to me, you can follow me when I return. Otherwise, unless your dynasty agrees to build a large, publicly accessible Conveyor Formation, it’s not possible."
Ye Liuyun responded. He knew their relationship was purely business and didn’t extend to that level of trust. Hence, it was his way to indirectly decline him.
"Can’t we just set up a private Conveyor Formation between us?" Chen Xingnan didn’t want others to stand between their dealings, hindaring the process."
Ye Liuyun countered with a chuckle, "What’s the point? Setting up a new Conveyor Formation would use up a lot of energy and resources. Just send someone with me to check it out if you’re genuinely worried."
Chen Xingnan pondered for a moment and then instructed the manager beside him, "Mr. Chen, accompany Mr. Ye back and assess the situation there."
"Yes, sir!" Manager Chen wasn’t eager to go, but he dared not disobey the order, hence reluctantly agreed.
Quickly, Chen Xingnan assured Ye Liuyun that he would compensate Ye Liuyun with a little drop of Emerald Essence Liquid for having Manager Chen follow him back. Ye Liuyun accepted the offer without hesitation.
Their business dealings were generally concluded, but Chen Xingnan wasn’t ready to wrap things up just yet.
He persisted in questioning Ye Liuyun, asking, "That art of yours that alters one’s appearance..."
"Please ignore that skill." Ye Liuyun abruptly cut him off. It was passed down to me by someone else, and I’m restricted from passing the knowledge on to someone else."
Chen Xingnan could only grudgingly abandon the notion upon hearing his rejection.
Then he turned to Ye Liuyun again, "As a representative of your world’s alliance, have you ever heard about the thing the Celestial Envoys gave you?"
Ye Liuyun sensed that Chen Xingnan knew of some vital information.
Hence, he didn’t hold back and asked straightforwardly, "Are you referring to the talisman and an artefact that is shaped like a grand hall?"
"So those things truly exist? What’s inside the grand hall?" Chen Xingnan said with a voice laced in excitement.
Ye Liuyun explained, "It contains a plethora of rare treasures, weapons, elixirs, and artifacts. In our world, martial practitioners can exchange the resources inside the grand hall with the foreign race’s virtuoso."
"However, a martial practitioner requires a large number of virtuosos from foreign races to trade for the resources inside the grand hall compared to trading on regular items."
"So, you’ve made those resources public in your world? How generous of you!" Chen Xingnan was surprised that someone would be so generous to share such treasures with the public.
"It’s unavoidable! Without sufficient incentives, it’s impossible to motivate the martial practitioners to fight against the foreign races!" Ye Liuyun stated.
Chen Xingnan nodded and earnestly asked Ye Liuyun after pondering for a moment, "Do you have full command over your army? May we request that you utilize your army to seize the grand hall from the hands of the Elysium dynasty?"
Ye Liuyun did not anticipated for such a request from him. However, the idea proposed by Chen Xingnan was in a way beneficial for Ye Liuyun.
Unfortunately, Chen was merely testing the water with the proposal and had yet to think the plan through.
"I can guarantee you that I have full control over my troops," Ye Liuyun responded to Chen Xingnan after giving it some thought. "Also, should the situation become critical, I can mobilize even more troops."
"However, what would my army gain from helping you? And are you certain that the Grand Hall is in the possession of the Elysium Dynasty?"
"All I know is that the Celestial Envoy sent us a Distress Signal Talisman and a Grand Hall filled with treasures. I’m unaware of what they gave anyone else. Are you sure it’s the hall?"
"If it truly is the hall, then the Elysium Dynasty could use the treasures within to cultivate a robust military. Do you know what their true strength is?"
"Even if I help you seize the hall, could you hold onto it? Wouldn’t the Euphoria Dynasty or any other dynasty compete with you for it?"
The series of questions Ye Liuyun posed left Chen Xingnan somewhat baffled.
"I’ll need to consider this issue further after I return. However, I can confirm that the items left by the Celestial envoy are indeed in the hands of the Elysium Dynasty."
"As for whether the Grand Hall is filled with treasures and if they’ve been secretly cultivating powerful experts, I need to conduct a more thorough investigation."
"Once I’ve confirmed the details, I’ll discuss this matter with you again."
"Agreed," Ye Liuyun replied readily.
He was satisfied with the information he had obtained. At least now he knew who held the Distress Signal Talisman and the treasures, which would help him strategize his approach towards the three dynasties.
Hence, his trip to the Merchant Guild turned out to be rather fruitful.
He had already traded the Sounds Transmission Talismans with Chen Xingnan and traded with Manager Chen for the goods they had agreed upon before he left. In order to convenience their trade, they set up a teleportation array.
Ye Liuyun wouldn’t have to risk another trip to the Guild for future larger transactions since they could use the communication talismans and the teleportation array. Chen Xingnan noticed the strangers lurking right outside the Guild, observing them.
When it was time to return to the Immortal Realm, Ye Liuyun brought Manager Chen into his spatial World so he wouldn’t have to make another trip to the Immortal Realm.
After that, his clone donned the Concealcape and left the Guild. He headed to the military camp without arousing the soldiers who were on watch.
He had considered exterminating those soldiers, but given the substantial business gains he made that day, he decided not to stir up any unnecessary trouble.
Upon returning to the camp, Ye Liuyun instructed his Clone to hand over the exchanged resources to Tong Xin and Qiong Qi.
Meanwhile, he went to meet with the commanders, including Man Feng and proposed an alliance with one of the Dynasties.
