Chapter 2274: Chapter 2274 Travelling Among the Stars
Feng Hongxiu chuckled upon hearing this, "All right, I get your point! But relying on others for protection isn’t as good as protecting yourself. You’d better come back soon to protect me!
Fighting against the foreign races isn’t just your battle alone. Just do your best and that’s sufficient!"
It was clear that Feng Hongxiu had foreseen that not everyone shared Ye Liuyun’s broad-minded perspective.
Most people were still driven by personal interests and were reluctant to risk their lives against the foreign races. Convincing them to unite and aid other realms would undoubtedly be even more challenging.
Ye Liuyun was well aware of the heavy responsibility on his shoulders, but he was determined to venture out to give it a try.
He even planned to visit that enormous planet to get a better understanding of the whole situation.
His previous visit to the planet had been facilitated by the Book Demon using a time-freezing method, allowing him only a brief experience without gaining much insight into the planet’s conditions.
However, he felt that the planet was densely populated and at least some of its inhabitants should contribute to the fight against the foreign races.
Upon his return, Ye Liuyun first went back to the Alliance of Goddesses. He stored the grand hall filled with treasures into his spatial world, intending to use it to provide resources for the soldiers during wartime.
Just before his departure, Ton Xin brought Ye Liuyun some good news. Ton Xin, along with a group of craftsmen, had developed a cosmos flying vessel capable of carrying a thousand people.
Although this small flying vessel could carry far fewer passengers and had significantly weaker offensive capabilities compared to large warships, its speed was three to four times faster.
Most importantly, it was incredibly energy-efficient, consuming twenty times less spirit crystals than a large warship.
This was fantastic news for Ye Liuyun. Although he had already packed as many alora crystals as possible for his journey, he was still worried about running out of energy midway and being stranded in the vastness of space.
Moreover, the time saved was a bonus he could not resist.
Tong Xin also requested to accompany Ye Liuyun on his journey to explore the unknown.
Ye Liuyun naturally hoped to bring him along, as it would immediately resolve any needs for artifact forging. However, he still sought the opinion of the Purple Flame God.
"Go ahead. It’s good for young people to see the world. With Ton Xin by your side, I’ll be at ease!" The Purple Flame God did not object to Ton Xin’s departure.
Jing Yong also approached Ye Liuyun, requesting to lead a group of black armor guards into battle. They had been idle for too long within the palace walls and saw this as a rare opportunity to broaden their horizons.
Thus, Ye Liuyun instructed Jing Yong to select three hundred black armor guards to operate the flying vessel and warships, ensuring they underwent trials and familiarization beforehand.
Subsequently, Liu Yang, Mo Shaowen, Zhu Youfu, the chef, Dragon Clan’s Wen Hao and even Mo Tianheng who was wandering around arrived at the palace, all seeking to join Ye Liuyun’s expedition.
Ye Liuyun warmly welcomed these friends.
To his surprise, Zhao Hu, who had always been by Li Yuanlang’s side, also expressed a desire to join Ye Liuyun on this journey.
He genuinely admired Ye Liuyun’s boldness and found it easy to get along with him. Together, they interacted without the formalities of hierarchy of being a senior and King of God, making their companionship comfortable.
Before Ye Liuyun’s departure, the last to seek him out was Qiong Qi.
"I must continue to protect you, lad! How else would I explain to my master if something happened to you?" Qiong Qi feigned an excuse.
He had already met with Li Yuanlang and reaffirmed his loyalty, steadfastly recognizing Li Yuanlang as his master.
However, he also came to join the excitement, eager to explore the outside world and gather more cultivation resources along the way.
Ye Liuyun acknowledged that having Qiong Qi, a skilled array formation master, and a weapon-refining master would indeed be beneficial to their group.
"You can join but don’t expect me to provide you with resources!" Ye Liuyun teased.
"Pfft! I’m quite wealthy now!" Qiong Qi patted his Interspatial Ring, clearly indicating he had amassed a considerable amount of resources during this period.
Xuan Yuanling also came to see them off, handing Ye Liuyun a Interspatial Ring filled with wine and a large amount of food.
"These will help keep everyone entertained during the voyage. Otherwise, the journey might get pretty dull!" Xuan Yuanling said with a smile.
Ye Liuyun chuckled, "As the guild leader, you’re being quite stingy! I was expecting something like alora crystal!"
Xuan Yuanling joked back, "You’re the real guild leader here! Besides, you’ve already commandeered all the alora crystals. Where would I get any extra to give you?"
Amidst the laughter, everyone boarded the warship, which soon set sail from the God Realm amidst waves of blessings.
Jing Yong divided the three hundred soldiers into shifts, taking turns piloting the ship and standing guard.
The Blade Legion, the Beastman Legion, and Yuan Hao’s Dark Legion were all training within Ye Liuyun’s spatial world.
At first, everyone on the warship was exhilarated, marveling at the ship’s speed and the vastness of the starry sky.
Some of the stronger individuals even ventured outside the ship to experience the pressure of the cosmos. But they quickly retreated, unable to withstand the intense force.
After a few days, the initial excitement wore off and people began idling around, indulging in food and drink.
Ye Liuyun took the opportunity to gather everyone together, introducing them to one another.
Most of the time, they listened to Qiong Qi, Zhao Hu and a few other talkative individuals boasting about their tales.
After several days of storytelling, everyone gradually returned to their cultivation routines.
Seizing the moment, Ye Liuyun released his divine soul energy, enveloping the warship. This allowed him to observe the surrounding environment while also cultivating the power of heaven and earth.
The direction of their voyage was guided by Ye Liuyun’s Golden Phantom Eyes, which had spotted a few small islands closest to their current location.
The islands appeared small from a distance. But once they set sail, they realized it would take at least three months to reach the largest one.
As they drew closer, they estimated that the island was comparable in size to the God Realm.
One day, while Ye Liuyun was deep in meditation, he suddenly noticed a massive feral beast sprawled on a small island ahead. It resembled an anaconda and it was moving.
The actual surface area of the small island was comparable to a foreign race battlefield. It showed that how enormous that creature was.
At that moment, the feral beast spotted Ye Liuyun’s airship and let out a thunderous roar, warning them to stay away.
The sound of the anaconda’s bellow echoed through the air, drawing everyone out of their cabins to see what was happening.
"What on earth is that? It’s enormous!"
"It looks like a anaconda! What tier is it?"
Ye Liuyun scrutinized the creature carefully using his Golden Phantom Eyes and ordered the airship to keep its distance.
"It’s at the Omnipotent Level!" He confirmed to the group.
His words immediately silenced everyone. Apart from the Devil Vine, it seemed no one else could handle such a formidable foe.
"I’ll go take a look!" Ye Liuyun volunteered to scout it out.
His curiosity was piqued by the massive anaconda. He wanted to understand how such a feral beast could exist.
He left the airship and flew toward the Anaconda.
Upon seeing Ye Liuyun, the anaconda ceased its roaring, seemingly surprised that a human cultivator had approached.
It then initiated communication with Ye Liuyun via divine sense. "A human cultivator?"
