However, the breakthrough of the Devil Vine was entirely different.
The Devil Vine had already transformed into a demonic entity. Its breakthrough signified the birth of an expert of Omnipotent Level. Moreover, the demonic aura it exuded instilled fear and despair.
At that moment, the humanoid form the Devil Vine had burst forth from the ground.
Its proportions were humanoid and took shape into a man as it towered over Ye Liuyun by half a head.
But its hands morphed into the shape of a Devil Vine, splitting into countless tendrils that stretched downward, ensnaring all the corpses of the Corpse Demons.
The tendrils extended further, dragging the remaining Corpse Demons from the battlefield toward itself.

The Devil Vine raised its arm and swung its tentacles as it smirked at Ye Liuyun. With a sudden, violent motion, it lashed at the protective barrier of the foreign race’s fortress.

The entire space was shaken by an ear-piercing crash.
"Is this the power surpassing the Omnipotent Realm?" Ye Liuyun marvelled inwardly at the sheer force of the strike.
The defensive Formation of the foreign race base was shattered in an instant, its energy scattering in all directions.
Judging by the looks of it, the Devil Vine alone could handle the foreign race experts within the city!
The shock of the hit caused the commanders and soldiers on both sides to momentarily disengage from the fight.
"Attack!"
Ye Liuyun commanded without hesitation.
The war chariots and cannons roared to life instantly, their beams of light piercing through the air toward the city. Soldiers followed suit, unleashing streams of death rays from their armour.
The foreign race’s city was soaked in the white beam.
In an instant, the city wall guards were obliterated and their bodies ripped apart in a horrific display. With the city gates destroyed by the puppet beasts’ relentless attack, the war chariots charged ahead, storming into the city centre.
The expert foreign race emerged to counter the invasion, but their attacks were intercepted by the Devil Vine. Its vines coiled around them like serpents, draining their life force in seconds, leaving behind nothing but desiccated husks.
The Devil-sealing Stele grew impatient and ravenously burst forth from its resting place, joining the Devil Vine in its macabre feast.

With a thunderous command from the Tiger King, the Beastmen stepped forward, scaling the city walls and raining destruction upon the city.
The city echoed with the deafening explosions, drowning out the anguished cries of the foreign race.
Seeing the chaos unfold, Ye Liuyun recalled the Blade Legion into his spatial World. He then led Yuan Hao and his squad into the city, systematically hunting down the remaining foreign race forces.
The foreign race commander was the first to be drained by the Devil-sealing Stele. The other experts soon followed suit, consumed by the relentless hunger of the Devil-sealing Stele and the Devil Vine.
After recently breaking through their level, both creatures yearned for a torrent of energy. Once they had devoured the experts, they moved on to the common soldiers of the foreign race and consumed their vitality in droves.
From underground, the Devil Vine extended its tendrils and heard the troops of the foreign race into the air, where Ye Liuyun and Yuan Hao could confront them. Once the soldiers were slain, the Devil Vine and Devil-sealing Stele swiftly coiled around the corpses, dragging them away.
For enemies that Ye Liuyun and his comrade couldn’t handle, the Devil Vine and the Sealing Demon Stele eagerly stepped in to compete and claim their next meal.
In that instant, an altar that the foreign race had built deep within their fortress sprang to life.
Ye Liuyun instantly commanded his forces to charge toward it.
The foreign race defenders, desperate to protect the altar, threw themselves in front of it, using their bodies to shield it from the devouring tendrils of the Devil vines and the suppression from the Devil-sealing Stele.
Suddenly, a formidable aura erupted from the altar.
Its intensity rivalling that of the Devil Vine.
"A powerful foreign race expert is coming through the Conveyor Formation!"
To prevent unneeded casualties, Ye Liuyun cautioned Yuan Hao and urged him to retreat with his troops.
However, just as they were about to retreat, an enormous foreign race’s hand sprang out from the altar and pounced with a horrifying attack on Ye Liuyun and his allies.
The strength of this being, who reached the Omnipotent Realm, was enough to shatter the foreign race’s city’s protective barrier in a single blow. If that strike landed square on Ye Liuyun, he would be obliterated without a doubt.
The sight caused Li Xianying and Zhao Hu, to turn pale. Along with Lei Ming, they were determined to use their own body to shield Ye Liuyun from the attack.
Still, the Devil-sealing Stele expanded itself into gigantic proportions in a second, placing itself in front of Ye Liuyun and absorbing the fatal strike.
Meanwhile, the Devil Vine extended its tendrils, coiling around the foreign race’s arm, rendering it unable for another strike. Simultaneously, it began draining its energy while trying to pull the foreign race out of the altar.
The foreign race’s shoulder and head were yanked into view, and the Devil Vine swiftly entangled its other arm.
The Demon-Suppressing Stele expanded itself to a size much larger than the altar and crashed down on it with force.
The soldiers guarding the altar threw themselves beneath it, sacrificing their lives to protect the Omnipotent level foreign race who was still in the process of being teleported.
The foreign race expert’s strength was overwhelming, leaving Yuan Hao and the others trapped, unable to move an inch under its intense, oppressive force.
Beside Ye Liuyun, his clone swiftly donned the Concealcape, and then both the white and black rays shot simultaneously square at the foreign race’s forehead.
The foreign race, entangled by the Devil Vine, wasn’t overly alarmed. Instead, he was gathering his strength for a counterattack.
By now, his upper body had managed to emerge from the port.
Ye Liuyun had been waiting for the foreign race’s virtuoso to be teleported out before making his move.
The moment the foreign race saw the two beams of light, fear flashed in his eyes. His mouth went gaping, attempting to roar and alert his comrades, but his speed was no match for the beams. In an instant, his head was enveloped and dissolved by the white beam.

Ye Liuyun then gave the order for the Devil Vine and the Demon-Sealing Stele to demolish the altar to stop any other experts from the foreign race from getting through after the transmission of the foreign race had finished transporting its corpse out.
The foreign race, Omnipotent Level expert, was swiftly devoured by the Devil Vine, which absorbed all his energy.

The surge of immense energy caused the Devil Vine to let out a satisfied roar.
Ye Liuyun, understanding its needs, promptly stored it within the Xuankong Stone.
The Devil Vines had absorbed too much energy and now needed to hibernate to digest it.
As for the remaining foreign race, he would leave them to the Demon-Sealing Stele to absorb.
The destruction of the altar and the fall of the Omnipotent Level experts had utterly petrified the foreign race, leaving them devoid of any hope for survival.
They couldn’t comprehend how the human race had suddenly become so formidable.

Moreover, in battles involving experts, there weren’t many opportunities for them to convert the fallen into Corpse Demons.
