Yet, the Corpse Demons showed no fear, continuing their relentless charge. Some experts even grabbed weaker Corpse Demons to use as shields, pressing forward without hesitation.
When the Tiger King saw this, he sent his war chariots and puppet beasts into the mob to halt their advance.
The Corpse Demons lunged and attacked the chariots, but their efforts were futile. Instead, they were blasted away by the chariots’ close-range gunfire.
They overturned some chariots, but the vehicles remained unscathed. It adjusted itself into position and continued its assault. Even when it was overturned, its attacks were unimpeded.
The puppet beasts were incredibly resilient. It took the combined efforts of several experts of the enemy to deter them.
The Beastman at the forefront wielded cannons and relentlessly bombarded the enemy. A single hit from these weapons would instantly obliterate a corpse demon.
The corpse demons suffered severe casualties as tens of thousands of them gathered to launch attacks. They were unable to break through the Beastman’s line formation.

Just then, a corpse demon roared. Using their kin as shields, many expert corpse demons dashed out at full speed towards Ye Liuyun’s direction.
The Demon-Sealing Stele shot out from Ye Liuyun’s Ocean of Consciousness, effortlessly subduing one of the expert corpse demons.
Lei Ming, by Ye Liuyun’s side, revealed her true form and let out a mighty roar. With her Thunder Hammer, she smashed a charging corpse demon, causing it to spew smoke from its orifices.
Since acquiring the Devil Crystal left by the Jiuyou Devil, Lei Ming refined it within the Xuankong Stone. Her cultivation had now reached the mid-stage of the ninth level. Coupled with the new Devil Clan’s cultivation techniques, she and Ye Liuyun had mastered the Devil Qi in their bloodlines. Their power had since increased exponentially.
Her current strength was now on par with that of the Devil Clan experts. Additionally, the Thunder Hammer attacks were the bane of both the foreign race and the Corpse Demons.
Ye Liuyun and his clone kept themselves busy as well. Both wielded their blades to intercept the corpse demons with their sword intention.
