After giving it some thought, Ye Liuyun released Pang Ren.
The sudden appearance of an advanced ninth-level devil cultivator scared the Fairy Clan’s martial practitioners into fleeing in all directions.
With the Slaving Seal, Ye Liuyun controlled Pang Ren to attack Lingxi.

He had been worrying about Ye Liuyun coming for revenge. Thus the first thing that came to his mind was that Ye Liuyun was here to attack him.
Another thunderous boom shook the air as Lingxi blocked another attack from Pang Ren with her token. a second later, Pang Ren made his move and charged toward Lingxi.
Under the pressing situation, Lingxi had to activate her token again. Qingfeng once again used his token to block the aftershock from getting to him.
"Ye Liuyun, I know you’re here. If you strike again, I will expose your secret!" Qingfeng exclaimed randomly into space.
After another bang, Pang Ren was sent flying due to his proximity, and Lingxi staggered backwards from the blow.
Yet she launched a palm attack towards Qingfeng, screaming at him, "You rowdy coward!"
Qingfeng resorted to his token for defence and tried to reason with Lingxi.
"Master, I just don’t want to die!"
His token managed to block Lingxi’s attack.
When Ye Liuyun finally approached Qingfeng, he stamped his Slaving Seal on him and sent him into his Spatial World.
Just as Lingxi was about to make another move, Qingfeng vanished into thin air. It was then she realised that Ye Liyun might be there.
While she was dumbfounded, Ye Liuyun entered her Ocean of Consciousness with his Divine Sense.
"It really is you!"
Lingxi never expected Qingcheng to be right about this.
Before she saw Ye Liuyun, she couldn’t believe that Ye Liuyun was the same person she encountered in the mortal realm.
In only a few years, Ye Liuyun had progressed from the mortal realm to the God realm. He had even reached a point where he could challenge the Fairy Clan. She had always considered such progress virtually impossible.
But it was too late for her to realise now. Ye Liuyun had already enslaved her with the Slaving Seal and brought her into his Spatial World.
Pang Ren chased after some of the members of the Fairy Clan for a while before Ye Liuyun summoned him.
Then, Ye Liuyun had his clone send Qingfeng to Zhuge Feiyu of the Ghostic World by teleporting via Black Tower. He would let Zhuge Feiyu deal with them however he wished.
As for Lingxi, Ye Liuyun began probing her soul to understand the full sequence of events.
After their return from the mortal realm, Liang Xue was taken away by Elder Qingyuan. Elder Qingyuan warned them not to disclose anything about Liang Xue’s information in the mortal realm.
One of Lingxi’s disciples revealed this information to a friend because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. In his anger, Elder Qingyuan killed everyone who knew about this to silence them including other disciples and her friends.
At that time, Qingyuan intended to kill Qingfeng as well. But Lingxi pleaded with Qingyuan to spare Qingfeng’s life and managed to persuade him to let it slide.
However, Lingxi had no idea why Qingyuan had such a strong devotion to keeping the secret.
She had an unsettling feeling that the identity of the Saintess was unusual. She felt it somehow had something to do with the disappearance of the previous Saintess. However, she wasn’t going to probe into the matter as she didn’t want to get involved in the conflict.
In fact, the less she knew, the safer she would be.
After Ye Liuyun learnt the information, he found the matter odd as well. "They even killed disciples to keep the secret! Just shows how important this secret must be!"
He wasted no time in interrogating the five elders he had just enslaved.

None of the other elders knew much about the matter too.

However, the elders that could truly determine the fate of the Fairy Clan are known as the primary elders, who hold control of most of the Fairy Caln’s secrets.
"Didn’t you say that you were going to take Liang Xue as your disciple and take good care of her?" Ye Liuyun turned to Lingxi and questioned icily. "She’s in danger now. What do you have to say for yourself?"
"I trusted the words of the primary elders at the time and was merely on a mission," Lingxi responded as she begged for mercy on her knees.
She was currently under the control of Ye Liuyun’s Slaving Seal, and she did not dare to show the slightest disrespect to him.

Ye Liuyun demanded for her token. He then instructed the few experts of the fairy Clan to input their defensive power into her token before returning it to her.
Then he passed the Fatal Scripture to Lingxi and released her to the Spatial World.

"Bring me back to Fairy Clan with you so we can thoroughly investigate the purpose of the Fairy Clan’s search for the saintess. Once you return, practice the Fatal Scripture right away. If necessary, you can poison those who block your way!" Ye Liuyun commanded her.
"Master, you are going back there with me?" Elder Lingxi didn’t understand what Ye Liuyun meant.

"That will do! Let’s go!" With that, Ye Liuyun and Elder Lingxi set off to catch up with the retreating troops of the Fairy Clan.

"He’s dead!" Mu Lingxi answered dimly. At first, she had great expectations for this disciple.
Ye Liuyun crushed the token in his hand into dust and retrieved the token of the maid from his Spatial World.
"Can I use this?" Ye Liuyun asked Mu Lingxi.
"It will work! However, it can’t grant access to the inner gate."
